In a time when customer service is nearly non-existent, it was such a pleasant surprise to deal with Joshua at the Pelican Plaza Verizon store. I brought a friend who recently lost her husband, & is extremely technically challenged. We got the account in her name, & are in the process of ditching her old phone for an iPhone. With a store full of customers, Josh was patient, helpful, considerate, & made a difficult time much more bearable. This guy needs a raise! 👏
Joshua was excellent help for a billing change for me. He helped my friend with a screen protector and he helped my other friend with information on a new phone. He was courteous and professional. We all appreciated his helpfulness and highly recommend asking for Joshua.

I was having an issue with my phone. Only one rep in the store already working with three customers. He apologized for the wait and assured me he would be with me ASAP. He confirmed my settings were correct, that our account was in good standing. He then connected me via landline to Verizon Customer Service, who had to do a few tricks to fix the problem. The best service I could ask an overwhelmed agent to provide.

Best customer service I have EVER experienced at a Verizon store. Josh is friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and provided me with useful information while switching my phone over to the new model. A pleasure from start to finish! I later had a billing issue that was not being resolved by calling the 800 number, but the store manager, Cole, went above and beyond by contacting customer service on my behalf, then calling me back to let me know the issue was addressed. I am one happy - and loyal - customer.
Josh has terrific customer service at this GoWireless (Verizon) Store, He has helped me with several of my needs, new products and just all around regular verizon service. Kudos to him for taking care of business! Highly recommend using this store with these awesome peeps, Cole (the store manager) was equally helpful this past week. Josh was OUTSTANDING! My husband and I went in last night with our one and a half year old son. We were upgrading phones and transferring data and getting some accessories so it took a little bit. We were one of the last customers and our son was getting antsy. Josh turned on Disney+ for him and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was on soon after which kept our sons attention and allowed us to get everything done quickly. Josh was knowledgeable and very friendly. I actually asked where I should write the review because I wanted to let everyone know that this store has great employees who will go above and beyond! We are happy with our purchase and our visit!

Joshua gave my husband and myself the best service EVER!!!! We were in the shop two different times to purchase new phones and an iPad. Both times Joshua made us feel welcome and spent hours explaining everything to us. You have a wonderful wireless associate in Joshua. Explaining everything we needed to know and more. Joshua has such patience and passion for his job, he is a keeper. Joshua deserves a very good bonus for working with us.
Wanted to return a WiFi charger or exchange it for one that works. Only one person working and people were waiting in line to get service on their phones. When I was asked what I needed help with I explained the problem with the charger and wanted to exchange it for the mworks one. The young lady working said she couldn’t do returns and the other service person who could hadn’t shown up for work that morning. This was the first time I’ve ever returned an item. She apologized for the inconvenience.I have always done business at this store and rated the workers highly but I was very disappointed with the management not having enough workers nor workers not qualified to do all the service requirements. Since this worker was unable to do all transactions because of her short employment time another employee should have been called in to help her.Poor customer service by management

Every time we have gone to this store, Jeremie and Josh have been extremely friendly and accommodating. Being in our 70s, we have had many questions regarding our phones and they have come through for us. We switched to this store because we were not treated very well at the store on Tamiami and Laurel in Nokomis, Fl. We so appreciate Jeremie and Josh.

I visited this location at Pelican Plaza (4 blocks from my house) at 1:20pm today to change my service plan because I received an email from Verizon I could have 2 lines $40 each Unlimited data, talk & text. There was no one in the store except 2 associates. When I told the guy what I wanted he told me to call 611 to upgrade my plan or go to a Corp store. I was shocked since they are an authorized Verizon dealer. I asked for a business card there was no name on it when I asked for his name he hesitantly said his name was Jeremy. I guess he didnt think he would make any commission helping me. Will never go back to that location and would not recommend anyone to patronize it. I drove 7 mmiles to the Corp location at Tamiami Bee Ridge area. Igor helped me there SUPER Associate. One of my phones couldnt transfer so he gave me a couple of options one to wait until tomorrow and get a $950 Note 10 & another Samsung Free phone, which I plan to do. I guess Jeremy could have made a commission if he had taken the time to help. Not a good look for this location, Employee is Self absorbed, Self Serving not there to help the customer that allows him to get paid...LAZY comes to mind.

Jeremie was SUPER awesome and helpful! I came in with a long list of phone and account problems, and Jeremie was kind, personable, and resourceful. He was patient and professional throughout the process, and worked through each issue, one problem at a time. He helped me choose the best new plan for my needs (increasing my data while lowering my bill!), get the highest value for my trade-in, and figure out a way to get phone service for both of my children - yay! He transferred all my data and walked me through setup, making the daunting task look easy. I walked out with a new phone I love, plans for my kids, and a bill I can still afford. Be sure to ask for Jeremie -- hes exactly why Verizon stands out for their service. (Although you DO pay for it - ouch!)
Absolutely wonderful experience at this location. Ive had the worst experiences at other locations and even with Verizon online. Ryan was so pleasant and nothing short of perfection when it comes to customer service. I will be back and recommend this store to all my friends. Thank you so much Ryan!

Verizon’s processes suck but Caitlin rules! I was trying to port my number to VeriZon and it is not an easy task. Caitlyn spent over an hour trying all sorts of out of the box solutions to help me resolve my issues. The smile on her face never left the whole time (even when I turned into a grump!). She did manage to help me and I am a happy customer.
I worked for Verizon indirect stores for 10 years. The issue is people always want to go to the corporate stores because the indirect stores refuse some things. I have knowledge of the 25% discount you get on accessories when you have a business account. The DM refused to give this discount and offered 10% small things like this stop people from shopping at indirect locations. This store is 2 mins from my house and now I will drive past it to go to another company for any of my Verizon needs. Just bad business. If you represent Verizon be Verizon.
Store staff member was locked out due to staff illness. Welcomed me, and apologized for my wait. When open, the Regional Manager provided me with an exceptional deal on the phone accessory I was purchasing to accommodate my wait. Unnecessary but greatly appreciated.

Have been coming to this store for years and once again came in for a SD card and as always had the best attention and service. I have been a Verizon Customer for 20 years and this is the first time I am sorry to say I will be going with another company as soon as I can. This store needs to be shut down! They are deceitful and lie in order to get you to upgrade your phones. I tried talking to the manager and explained how his employee got me to sign paperwork buying 2 cell phones for $1,300 that I thought one was free for renewing my service for 2 years and the other one was supposed to be free if I changed my phone number and opened another account. I told him that his employee lied to me and he just shrugged his shoulders and said sounds like it. Would not try to resolve issue at all. I am filing a complaint with the State of Florida Office of the Attorney General and to the BBB.
Caitlin just helped me buy a new Iphone to replace my old one that was damaged due to a swollen battery. She could not have been more helpful. She helped me select the right model for me and transferred all the data. Then Caitlin erased the data from the old phone so that it could be thrown away. No waiting and excellent service. So much better than an Apple store!
So I walked into the store with a mess of a phone. Lost pictures phone wouldnt turn on and so forth. Talked to Julia. She was beyond what I had ever hoped when I went in. She recovered lost pictures from my brokenap phone and contacts. She sold me on this LG G5 and completely set me up with everything I needed. Definitely my rep everytime I go in there.

Going to this store was the worst experience my wife and I have had in a Verizon Wireless store. We were there to buy a new smartphone. The manager, Chris, was very difficult to deal with. When he wouldnt answer our questions, we decided to leave. BUT HE WOULD NOT GIVE US BACK OUR EXISTING PHONE! He was actually playing keep away with our property. And he was calling us rude!
