We had two separate flooring installations completed by G.Fried recently, vinyl tile in our loft and carpeting on a spiral staircase. Both installs couldn’t have gone better. The workers were professional, courteous and very detailed oriented. My wife appreciated how mindful they were of minimizing dust during the installs and the clean up they did when the work was completed. The vinyl tile work was done over one and a half days by one person and the result looks great. Carpeting the spiral staircase was a very challenging job and required exacting attention to detail. (Lowes wouldn’t even bid on the job because it was ‘out of scope’ of what they were comfortable doing.) We were very impressed with the final product and wouldn’t hesitate recommending G. Fried.

Dimitri, Joseph and Tim were the great professional group who did our installation. Efficient, courteous, professional and answered are many questions about our flooring. Our experience was FABULOUS!! From the minute I walked in the door, my sales person Elaine was super helpful and courteous. She helped me with options to blend with our existing carpet (as the carpet we presently have is no longer made), she provided a great price, and gave me all of the timing issues that would need to be coordinated. I went to 4 other carpet locations. I was greeted by sales people...but they didnt give me the comfort I felt from Elaine. Then came the installers. Chris and Robbie are WONDERFUL gentlemen! Punctual. Nice. Great sense of humor. Easy going. And most of all SUPER hard working!!! My house project was an all day affair, and they worked so diligently to get everything perfect. Im from a small town in Wisconsin, where people CARE about the service and product they provide. This felt very similar to my experiences in my home state.We LOVE the carpet, the cost, the installation process, and all of the people I worked with. I highly recommend G.Fried Flooring.I recently had two bedrooms carpeted in a beautiful Karastan soft pile carpet, and it looks FANTASTIC!.Because of G. Fried’s excellent reputation, I felt confident when I walked into the showroom. The sales rep, Elaine Hinkley, was wonderful in helping me choose the carpet. She showed me many selections, and I was able to take samples home - not just little pieces either, but large pieces so that I could really visualize how the new carpet would look.G. Fried sent a person to measure the rooms exactly and figure out the best places for the seams. By his attention to detail, I knew the carpet was going to fit perfectly.The installers, Chris and Robbie, were also outstanding. They were meticulous in the prep work: removing the old carpet and pad and preparing the floor right down to the concrete. Renovations can be a bit stressful but G Fried made the flooring component of my remodel a totally stress free experience. I was impressed with the amount of care and time my sales person, Jacci, took to make sure everything was chosen, ordered and coordinated correctly.Mark with scheduling provided excellent communication. I could not have been more impressed with my installer Vitale, who provided such a meticulous installation you would have thought he was installing the flooring in his own home. The professionalism and courtesy of this company wowed me and I am so happy with the result.

We attempted to work with anouther carpet company before finding G. Fried flooring. They never followed up, never called to schedule an appointment, etc. Once we found G. Fried, Ben (our salesperson) did a great job explaining the different grades of carpet and padding to us. He wasnt pushy or trying to upsell, but instead made us feel comfortable that we had all the information we needed to make a great decision.Once we put our deposit down, the measurer could not have been a nicer and more professional guy. The scheduleer then called us who was also great about explaining the lead time and install process. He also called us back a few days after our initial call to let us know that the install was going to be delayed a week (which was awesome since many people dont call and just dont show up...).The installers showed up on-time, did their job in a professional fashion and were in and out in two days. The installation is beautiful and we couldnt be happier with G. Fried. They were a pleasure to do business with and treated us professionally at every step of the way.

We are very satisfied with LVP flooring installed in one master bedroom, one guest bedroom and den and three closets of our newly bought condo.Elain in sales helped us in choosing right flooring material and explained the benefits and difference among varieties of flooring. OMG... ALAN SCHNEIDER who happens to be the owner, was my sales representative. Alan to the time AFTER coming to my home to assess my needs and measure my floors, came back with MORE SAMPLES after I had picked out some and was NOT sure of my selection. He saved me around $900.00 on my wood flooring and helped me pick a QUALITY CARPET that FIT MY BUDGET!! Alan sent his A TEAM to my house. They were the hardest working men ever! HONEST, PROFESSIONAL & went ABOVE THE CALL of DUTY to HELP me a recent widow to move the HEAVY FURNITURE that I could NOT MOVE or get anyone to help me with.Folks, I have lived in Brandon all my life 67 years. We recently had coretec plus HD vinyl flooring installed in Smoked rustic pine. It is in our family room. We are very pleased with how it looks and it was installed in less than a full day with out any issues. Installers were very efficient and friendly. They did a great job. Very disappointed. Went with G Fried despite higher prices because I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly for my elderly mother. First the sales lady got very defensive and snappy when I asked what square footage she was using. She made a mistake in her addition, which I alerted her to, even though it cost us more. Without the square footage, I had no way to verify that the measurements themselves were correct. That was not the big problem, however. After spending hours moving everything except for the largest pieces of furniture out of the bedrooms, the carpet was installed.....with a very visible flaw right down the middle of the master bedroom and another issue with the seam that ran the length of the room (dye lots of the two pieces didnt match). They had apparently not noticed either issue while cutting the carpet at the warehouse. The installers noticed the flaw but installed the carpet anyway as they figured it would be awhile before the problem could be corrected. We had to put everything back in place as they were starting on all the other floors that were getting new laminate flooring. When the new carpet came in, we had to go through the whole packing up and moving procedure again. We were basically told, Things happen. Unfortunately, things only got worse: After carefully boxing up china and other decorations and moving all smaller items from the living room, dining room, breakfast area, laundry room, etc., the laminate was installed. The installer did not point out that the electric outlet in the floor would be an issue, and it stood up a considerable amount above the floor, creating a significant trip hazard. That was minor, however, compared to the fact that after we had put everything back in place, which took a lot of time, the floor began squeaking. The squeaking got worse over time. It turned out they had had the same problem previously with this particular flooring....yet had still gone ahead and sold it to us. Eventually it was decided they would have to pull it all up (which required packing up everything again, including the large china cabinet) and glue each board to the next. That did seem to solve the problem and we then had to put everything back again. This was not the painless experience I envisioned and contracted for for my 89 year old mother. Not once did we get a sincere apology. I suggested it would be nice if the company paid to have the base boards painted since they had pulled the new ones off the walls nicking them up a bit, but the request fell on deaf ears. The whole experience was very disappointing and frustrating. The job cost over $10,000. At least it looks good now though.

It was a pleasure doing business with GFried and Alan Schnieder . Alan was great he met with me several times, made sure I had an ample selection of samples to choose from, and was flexible and easy to work with . He never made me feel bad for changing my mind either ! His installers for both the vinyl planks and carpet were professional. The quality of work was excellent . A BIG. Thank to Alan for reassuring me through the bumps in the remodel . You said to me more than once, “ don’t worry about it we’ll take care of it “ even when it was not your responsibility. To me, that’s the very best of customer service ! Highly reccomened!
