I had a recent floor install project contracted with Floor Interior Services, the main installer for Lowes. It was a large project, over 2000 sqft of tile removal and installation of engineered hardwood. In addition, floor required leveling prior to install. The job started with an initial crew doing the demo and removal, but stalled when the new flooring was to be installed. The reason was floor unevenness. At that point Carlos Gonzales intervened and took the lead to address the situation. He brought in a new crew, addressed any potential barriers and finished the job. Ultimately, a very good job, with Carlos taking the credit for making it happen. He is an asset to this company and, given his leadership, I recommend the company.
Contracted for a simple backsplash install through Lowes. Was scheduled between 11am-1pm on a Thursday...no show no call. Got the Contractor on the line and was then told they would arrive by the afternoon. By 6pm, no show no call. Friday morning at 11am, contractor tells me he will have his crew at my house between 8am and 10am Saturday morning. Come Saturday, you guessed it, no show no call.Not even a simple phone call to say hey, we are running behind, I apologize, but we will get this done. Im not an unreasonable person. I would have accepted that, but it never happened.I canceled my contract. I suggest you look elsewhere for contractors or at the very least tell Lowes that Interior Flooring Services isnt welcome in your home.
Only used because this company was Lowes installation contractor in Jacksonville. Worst service experience ever (and I will not be returning to Lowes in the future as a result). Installer was more than 3 hours late. When I called and spoke with the installation manager and another associate, neither was able to get ahold of him to give me an ETA. When they finally did, I was given a couple different excuses, the main being that he had gone for a repair that had taken several hours and I suppose they have no backup plan or couldnt send the rest of the crew on to start on my install. I was forced to rearrange my entire today to accommodate the afternoon install that was meant to be a morning install. I recommend staying FAR AWAY from this company and Lowes in general if this is who theyll insist on using.
