I went to look at a 2021 F150 Lariat and trade in my 2019 F150 Platinum so they didnt have what I wanted but they had one coming in that looked good and had the options I wanted. The sticker was around $72,000 so I asked him to write it up. When they came back with the figures I was insulted to see they were going to gouge me an extra $8,000 over sticker because they said it was in high demand so I said forget it and the manager said youll never get your truck because all the other dealerships do the exact same thing so I left. The next day I went to Matthews-Currie Ford and they had almost the exact same Lariat with the options I wanted in white and not only did they not jack up the price but they gave me $2000 off and $1500 more for my trade-in so I purchased it immediately. There was an arrogance at Sarasota Ford which I picked up immediately whereas at Mathews-Currie the salesman and manager were very down to earth and straight with no pressure and I left feeling I got the best possible deal.

The entire process from start to finish was stress free / pressure free with Mike being up front and transparent during the entire process. I get a text message informing me there is a Safety Recall for my vehicle and to call for an appointment to make arrangements for a repair. This is the second recall in a month. The first was a letter from Ford Corporate. On both occasions, I call to make an appointment. I never get a return call from the Mobile Service manager. He is usually not available to answer the phone so you leave messages with no response.Total waste of customer time.

While I was waiting in their cafe I saw a real clean f-250 that was color matched and painted. I inquired about it and she walked me through the details. Absolutely TOP NOTCH experience. We live in Naples and endured a terrible experience at our local ford dealership so we expanded our search. My first point of contact was with Patrick Higgins. He was attentive and excited to answer my questions with zero pressure. I explained that we are 2 hours away had a trade in and wanted to try and get the trade in value for our truck before making the trip. At this point with other dealerships, we get shut down unless we are willing to make the trip. Patrick immediately got me in touch with Tucker Bonnevie who had not only a trade in price to me within a couple hours but a full financial workup on the new truck we were interested in with the trade in included. Yes we had some back and forth negotiation but it was easy, honest and smooth with Brian Snyder, the numbers guy. My husband arrived there at 6pm, one hour before closing and never felt rushed or pressured. He was still there at 8pm an hour after closing and everyone stayed the course with him and were incredibly supportive and helpful. I cannot say enough how great our experience was. It is the next morning now and I have already received a text from Patrick Higgins checking in and thanking us as well as an email from Tucker Bonnevie also thanking us and letting us know they are always there if we need anything. Went in for standard service on my F150 and did it through the quick lane. I made an appointment online and it was super easy, when I showed up Nick Munn was so helpful. A while back I walked into the Sarasota Ford dealership expecting the typical shark salesman to approach me. Then I met Jacob. He is hands down the most helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable salesman Ive ever had the pleasure of talking to, and is more interested in the satisfaction of his customers than the sale itself. Other dealers lie about Sarasota Ford to cover themselves or justify their fees but it really is transparent, you see what you see for the price online and you get that price plus their ONE fee, not 2 or 3 or 4 fees. There’s no “online price” (*with 3 absolutely required prerequisites*) needed to get the price they advertise for their cars. No surprises, up charges, “reconditioning fees”. I could not be happier.First and foremost my product specialist, Edin was AWESOME. Somehow he made me feel like my happiness was more important to him than profit. Frankly, Im from the era where women didnt go to the dealership alone for fear of being taken advantage of. I took my husband but it turns out I didnt need to for which I am immensely grateful. That goes for Edin and everyone else I encountered.Second, the dealership itself is gorgeous and the mini-movie theater is a super cool feature. I loved the fish tanks and the open floor plan. The $100 in gift cards just for showing up didnt hurt either. :)Lastly, I drove 3 .5 hours one way, twice, because my car was that good of a deal. A minor problem developed minutes after we drove off the lot so we took it back & Ford took care of the repairs for us without complaint, hence the two trips.When its time to replace this car I will happily drive 3.5 hours to Edin @ Sarasota Ford.
