I just had another great experience at BMW of Sarasota. I needed new tires, they got me in quickly and worked with me to find the exact tires I was looking for, and installed them at a fair price. Chong Lee was great to work with, I highly recommend him.
Again an extremely positive service experience at BMW of Sarasota. The Service Representative Greg was professional, efficient, effective, a good communicator and has excellent interpersonal skills. It is so important to have such a well managed automobile dealer in Sarasota that makes the service experience positive and productive. I’m a very satisfied BMW owner. You pay a reasonable premium for a BMW but you get what you pay for. If you are not a BMW Sarasota customer, take a look the next time you in the market, it’s a well managed business and will earn your business.
Beautiful showroom and waiting area. Very accommodating to their customers with refreshments. Service entry very clean and well organized. The ladies room was clean and sufficiently stocked with paper goods and hand soap. The “store” is mediocre at best. They have some nice BMW items, but given the rest of the layout of the facility, one might expect more of a Boutique. This is the first place I’ve seen sufficiently staffed in a very long time. The service rep is very polite and friendly.My biggest concern with this location is that each time I take my vehicle there for a half price oil change, they find $5000-6000 worth of repairs I “need”. Sadly, even though most of them I don’t get done, the next time I need that much done in service again, however it’s never the same needs as the time before. It seems to me that if you say I need X, Y, Z, the next time I should still need that done, not A, B, C.
Had the best experience purchasing my new car with Tim Chestnut, he is literally the best Salesperson I have ever seen. Always ask for him, you wont go wrong! He was so patient and understanding, not the usual pushy kind. Just Amazing. He helped my husband and I with all the small details. Being busy he did everything to the last bit and we just had to walk in and pick up the car hassle-free.

Excellent sales, service, finance, and parts department. At no time during purchasing did I feel pressured to make a deal or accept items I did not want. It was a relaxed situation, which is a rarity in my history of purchasing vehicles. There was always some form of miscommunication that lead to tension with other dealers and I did not experience that here.
Purchased a new BMW X6. In month two I was receiving errors stating “adaptive headlight malfunction” and the assisted driving stopped working numerous time. I took my vehicle to the shop to have this remedied. I was in the waiting room for about 35 minutes and my vehicle never left the service drive, my advisor finally came to me to let me know it would be about three hours since the vehicle had to be hooked up to a machine? I was told rentals were not available so I cancelled the appointment and left. I later rescheduled the appointment and when doing so requested a rental vehicle. Upon arrival I asked valet to let the advisor know not to was the vehicle upon completion and that I was needing a rental, I was then sent to the waiting room. I received a generic text from my advisor 20 minutes later stating if I needed anything during my time here to reach out… I responded asking if they had a rental ready only to receive a response that said “oh I had you down for waiting”. About an hour later I finally got a rental and again let my advisor know to not wash the vehicle.. I was in formed that since I was taking a rental my car would not be prioritized and may not be done today. I asked if it would be done tomorrow and they said yes, right after that text I sent ANOTHER reminder to NOT WASH THE VEHICLE. My advisor confirmed they would not. I sent a total of 3 texts regarding the vehicle wash, each time receiving confirmation. Upon arrival to pickup the next day I went to the vehicle and… you guessed it.. THEY WASHED IT. Unbelievable. Absolutely ridiculous. After confirming FIVE times with not only valet but my ADVISOR that the car would not be washed… they washed it. This reminds me of why I didn’t purchase my vehicle here and instead drove to Tampa to custom order my vehicle.. It is now almost a week later and the adaptive headlight malfunction is BACK. So all of that for nothing..

BMW recommended new brake fluid. The service was completed in the stated 1 hour timeframe. The price was $215.89 with tax.
All items were fixed under warranty. Everything works like new again. Even things I thought were working ok like windshield washers work better after getting the turbo coolant leak fixed. Took a while to get to the bottom of this, but it’s great to have the car working like new again.
BMW of Sarasota always offer the best service for my car. I love the service video they share every time and the quote they provide in advanced of any repairs. They also offer discounts. Their service is truly exceptional.
It was an awesome experience. I needed my airbags replaced for my 2004 325Ci. Chong took care of me 30 minutes faster than what was quoted on the phone and during the courtesy inspection he filled up the needed fluids free of charge. Would definitely recommend!

I knew what I was looking for when I went to BMW of Sarasota and Daniel was great! He knew what was left of inventory, I picked out a car and he brought it up to me for a test drive (it was pouring rain that day). I took it for a short drive (I have owned many BMW’s over the years), and it performed as I expected. I had a trade and they were right on the money for what I expected for the car. Deal was struck and a short time later I walked out the door with my new car! All very streamlined. I highly recommend BMW of Sarasota and Daniel if he is available!
I have a 2019 X5 and drive about 60,000 miles a year so I’m always at this dealership. The service here has been exceptional and the prices are less then other German automotive repair shops in town. Zach and Greg always provide top-notch service. If there’s any discrepancy they always make it right. It’s difficult to find good honest service and BMW is heavily scrutinized but these guys are 5 star.

BMW had a recall for my car. I was able to call the service department and easily get an appointment for a convenient time. The service was performed in a timely manner and my car was nice and clean after. My service advisor kept me informed and even walked me to my car to make sure all was ok once the service was completed.

I had only had my BMW for a few days at the time of my problem, I drove all the way down from Northern Kentucky to Clearwater Florida and my AC unit went out, Lucy was my service representative she was very professional and polite I would definitely recommend asking for her on the phone to be your representative. My wife has been in a Ford since 2012 and after her experience at the Sarasota store she’s considering getting a BMW because the customer service was so professional, timely, and kind.
You have terrific people Chong Lee, Loraine and Ash. We really appreciated Ash taking time to go through our new car with us. Only issue was length of time to get tire replaced we got in another 1115 and it took until 1430 or after. It would be good to know in advance that you will call to get permission to fix. I didn’t know anyone was waiting to hear back from me. I didn’t have my phone where I could hear it.

Nicest Professionals!I just moved to the area less than two weeks ago. My 328I X Dr needed some things looked at so I called and made a Service Appointment. A few minutes later I called back and asked to speak with a sales professional about perhaps trading my car in; I was immediately transferred to Daniel who graciously offered to assist me. An hour and a half later I was at the dealership and after sitting down with Daniel for a few minutes he had narrowed down a few options.Bingo he got it on the first try! After a calm, pleasant negotiation we worked out a Deal I was very pleased with! Daniel and Leonardo really went the extra mile to earn my business. I will absolutely be returning to this dealership for all of my service needs and one day another one!As a sidenote this dealership is spacious and Modern; also Do Not Pass up Trying the complementary chocolate chip cookies they are the best cookies I’ve ever had!

I took my X5 to this dealer for the first time for a flat tire. Derek was my advisor. The service went very smooth and I was very happy to find out that my two new tires are actually warranted by the dealer for a year . I bought many tires previously in Naples that had not had any warranty unless I paid extra… since moving up this way, this is my new go to location.

Went in the show room looking at the X5M opened the doors sat in it spent about 10 to 15 minutes discussing the features to my girl friend not one person came up to us to ask if we need any help. I guess the car business is booming and your able to select who you want to sell a car too, oh well I’ll got back to Tampa BMW…Thanks for the effort.
My VW’s battery died in their parking lot. They went out and got the right battery for my car and installed it quickly. My service advisor, Paul, kept me informed of the progress throughout the repair. He was personable and efficient.
Maria was prompt and courteous in handling my service needs. She escorted me to the service loaner counter and handled the check-out process so I didn’t have to wait in a cashier line.
I was on Autotrader and saw a used Lexus on the lot. Robby was very quick to respond and was extremely helpful. I got a fair appraisal for my trade in and the buying process was pretty quick. Financing took a while to get through but it was relatively painless. The only issue is that I asked if everything was mechanically sound and repaired (if needed) and they told me yes. When I was driving it home from the dealership I found that at highway speeds, the front brakes are very warped. The whole car shakes if you try to brake on the highway. I expected a big purchase like this to at least have the brakes checked and resurfaced. Other than that lack of inspection and repair, I would have given this dealership 5 stars.

I had great service as always. We have bought 4 cars there in past 3 years. Taking our friend today to build her a X5 to order.My only issue was it was a rainy cloudy day and I was told corporate sets the thermostat. All the employees inside had a jacket or fleece on. The customers were all freezing! We didn’t have the option to get a sweater out of the car. The temp should be managed by someone who takes the customers comfort into account. I’m just talking about 73 or above here. It seems to be set much colder than that.
Carlos has been my rep many times. He goes the extra mile for friendliness and eager to please. He gives great advice for the future of my car. Great rep and great and thorough shop.
Sales experience was ok/ good. Got a fair price on the purchase. And on the trade-in.Service department is suspect. They have a poor reputation when you do reviews of Sarasota BMW. We bought BMW 4 series. This particular model has a history of the air conditioner freezing on extended drives. On the first trip we take the AC freezes up. You have to stop the car or shut the AC off for an extended period for it to defrost, before it’ll run again.Apparently is there there is a permanent fix available and the service department knows about it. They chose not to do the permanent fix, they just reset the computer. So that now, on the second trip it freezes up again.Some places do what’s right. And some places do what is easy. It appears their service department does the latter.
A very comfortable waiting area. Lots of complimentary refreshments. Comfortable seats. My service advisor Luz was a pleasure to work with. The only negative was the person who worked on the car should return the seat to the stored memory setting. Overall, a good experience at BMW of Sarasota.

Very nice staff and environment. The waiting area is well kept and comfortable. I am usually out in a timely manner and this all of my issues were resolved I left with no malfunction lights on.
Susan Gatlin was my Sales advisor and she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She didn’t just put me in any random car. I gave her the requirements of the luxury car i wanted and the car she found for me was a perfect match. She was amazing! Lucy is the finance department was amazing as well. She also made me feel comfortable and welcomed but most importantly she didn’t make me feel pressured in anyway.The only issue was the vehicle’s interior was not cleaned properly. It was a lot of residue between the seats and the middle console. The start button had stickers adhesive residue on it. The vents above the CD player was not clean. This should have been properly done especially with this being a BMW car lot.

The customer service rep Brenton was great, same with the service attendees upon arrival helping walk through using the large pad to sign in. Unfortunately, I hadn’t anticipated the 3 hrs it would take for an oil change and then driving belt change. Additionally, one of my car magnets was lost. One of the service attendees tried to find it but couldn’t locate it. Next time, I will be using a loaner and removing all my stuff inside and out before going here. They do have a great selection of snacks and drinks available which helped.
I am so happy I purchased from them, they are always so efficient and accommodating. I live in St Pete and was treated so poorly by the local BMW that I decided to travel to buy my car, the service dept is amazing. Highly recommend this dealer and their service dept.

Due to faulty service at my NJ Mini dealership 2 days prior, I found myself at the mercy of BMW of Sarasota after a cross country trip to surprise family. There weren’t any Mini dealers nearby so I called and lucked out when Chong Lee answered my call. He said to bring it in right away and they would do their best. What a wonderful experience, Chong was very knowledgeable when I described what was going on with the oil leaking out of my car (in fact spot on I found out after the repair was completed). The mechanics were efficient and the repairs completely quickly. I was even sent a video on my phone showing the problem which was very helpful as I’m not mechanically inclined ;). Thank you so much for fixing my car so quickly and reasonably thereby saving my trip with my family!

Parts were very high. Expect parts to be marked up, but one part was $400 more then any BMW OEM parts would have charged. One part of the service call was over $1000 and i w as not told up front. The labor rate is average but too many hours were allocated for each of the services. All in all not pleased and will not be bringing my 5 series or my wifes 3 series. I am about same distance from another dealer so will look there
I took my X1 to get an oil change, check tires, and to have all liquids topped off. The service rep promptly took my car and said he would return. His name was Zach. Another rep completed the transaction. Later, when reviewing my receipt, a line item indicated I declined to sign for approval. (?) I never declined anything. The service on my car was 5 star, however the wait was longer then I expected.

The pros: Service advisor Greg is great - very attentive, communicative, nice guy. Like the video of the car and what they find. Clean dealership, free rental car available.The cons: My 2016 M235 just went out of warranty. And the right headlight went out at only 55,000 miles. $3,600 to replace! Seriously? I told them to forget it and I’ll be complaining to corporate BMW. And taking it to a different place with a more reasonable cost.

I called three (3) times and left messages to check on my vehicles warranty through BMW. My car was prompting me for an oil change. I was assigned to Derek who did not get back to me. So, I reached back and insisted that I talk to him. After reviewing my warranty with Derek and confirming the oil change and vehicle check was covered … I confirmed I would bring in my vehicle at 7:00am that following Monday. I was told we had the first appointment of the day and it would take around 30 to 45 minutes. Three (3) hours later we left with my vehicle.
Just took our X5 in for its two year service. The staff at Sarasota BMW are very professional and top notch. I’m very picky about the cleanliness of my car, they are so careful to not not get it dirty once it goes in the shop.I know that for the first few years most of the maintenance is covered but I was still pleasantly surprised when the invoice was under $30. I had a 540i in the past and once out of warranty the maintenance costs were ridiculous.So far, love our X5 and love the way Sarasota BMW treats us.

I love this place. They got me right in and gave me the Really morning appointment I required and told me exactly how much time it would take.The Customer lounge was very pleasant and offered many amenities And I especially light the video sent by the service guy who was working on my car commenting on the brake and tire condition .The service was completed with in the time frame and my car was given back to me after a quick bath Zachary was my service advisor and I will be back here again it was truly a very pleasant experience.

The Service Manager told me that I needed to replace the engine coolant and the differential fluid to maintain the warranty coverage. When I got home and read the BMW Owners Manual I was shocked. The Owners Manual says that BMW has engineered the vehicle and the fluids used in the vehicle in a way that makes the fluids good for the life of the car. No need to change coolant or other fluids unless repairs were made to that system. I immediately contacted the service manager via email with my concerns. Three weeks later and no response from BMW.
Been in for service twice with no issues. Paul and the rest of the service department have been great to work with.

I wish we live in Sarasota because we like to do business with them. I was traveling to Sarasota when my 750 light engine was on. This is my 5th BMW I own never had any experience for light engine on since we always keep up with service. We just did our yearly check up two weeks before the trip at Jacksonville which they have missed or probably didn’t do check thoroughly.Took my car here as an emergency step. Brenton and service technician make sure I can travel back to Saint Augustine with no problem that I need to take my car to Jacksonville BMW immediately, which I did. Even though I hesitated to take it back to the dealership that didn’t do as they supposed to (Tom Bush BMW), since this is the only BMW dealership close to where I live.Thank you Brenton (Service Advisor), Miguel (Certified Service Technician) and BMW Sarasota. Sarasota BMW is exponentially superior to all other dealerships that I work with.First of all, my service advisor, Derek Thomas, is amazingly skilled and a wonderful advocate for me as well.The dealership itself is top notch. Prices are reasonable and technical expertise is of a high level. The communication from the service department is extraordinary. I usually receive a video showing me exactly where a problem lies.I consider myself lucky to be a customer.
Outstanding service. I was greeted as soon as I pulled in for the service. Carlos said the car would be attended to immediately and that I would be contacted as soon as theservice was completed. The wait was not long and I viewed the video regarding the service that was done on the car. Once the car was ready, Carlos took me to the car and asked if there was anything else that I needed. He is detailed oriented and very polite. Carlos is an asset to the dealership.
