My Sales designer Alice Lewis in the Sarasota store was excellent to work with. I love her friendliness, honesty, and professionalism. She was great to work with in making sure our purchases went well together. The items we purchased were perfect for our family room. Makes a huge difference! The hardest part was waiting for our items to be delivered due to the Covid issues/shipments/shortages- not Ethan Allen’s fault. The delivery men came today and they were super kind and very professional with the delivery/set up of our furniture and rug. Thank you Ethan Allen!!

Sharon Prassel at Ethan Allen in Sarasota helped me design my medical office space. I brought her some inspiration photos, she came and took measurements and saw the layout of the space. The waiting room is long and narrow, and not easy to decorate. Sharon did an amazing job. Her taste and recommendations are right on point. I was able to make adjustments based on budget. All my patients LOVE the space. I love the space. You cant beat incredibly high quality pieces, tailored to your needs, that will last a lifetime, all with financing available.

Ordered 2 pieces: a sleeper couch and an upholstered chair. Both pieces came in on time with no drama. Both pieces are lovely, comfortable and exactly as ordered. I’d use Ethan Allen (and Pamela Sacher in the Sarasota store) again in a heartbeat. And by the way, the delivery guys were wonderful as well. This was an excellent experience!

Lupe was a good designer for us to work with. My husband and I do not always agree on design style, but Lupe was able to help us both come to a decision on living room furniture and she was very diplomatic during the process. Pamela followed up with me and I was pleasantly surprised to receive delivery of my sofa weeks ahead of schedule. The delivery men were courteous and took all the wrappings with them and made sure my sofa was safely delivered to me. So Thank You so much as I am enjoying my new sofa!

Just had a couch delivered from Ethan Allen today and I am thrilled. I shopped around a lot because on the surface Ethan Allen seems a bit pricey. However, when you see the difference in quality and the unbelievable customer service it is well worth the difference. I worked with Joseph Seeks who is so truly wonderful, sincere, knowledgeable and lots of fun. I was having a little difficulty deciding on fabric, so he said, lets look at it in your space. He came right out and it made my decision so much easier. He is a joy and truly cares about his clients happiness. The store is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful and Joseph Seeks is a super star....

My husband and I worked with Pamela Sacher in the Sarasota store. We went in with the hopes of creating a new living room for a beachside condo we own. We had so much fun with Pamela and she was so good at making suggestions for us that we not only completed the living room, from the furniture to the lamps and throw blanket, that we expanded into the lanai, dining room and bedrooms. Pamela Sacher provided excellent design advice and ideas as we undertook the transformation of our interior style from the doilies and Stiffel lamp era that prevailed in our Chicago home to furnish our new Sarasota home in a style that was both more modern and yet still reflective of our traditional tastes, all while allowing us to feel a kinship with the personality of the new home. Pamela went above and beyond in helping us consider the fine points of coordinating our own retained goods with our new additions.

I saw that the bookshelf didnt have an access for an electrical cord in the back for a TV (wasnt told this when purchased). Asked the installer to move it away from the wall so I could drill a hole and he said he didnt have time to do that. Plus the file drawer and other doors dont fit correctly. More than anything it was the attitude of the installer about my concern. Typical South Florida swarmy guy. Looking back Im even sorry I tipped him.

Great team of resources, initially just looking, had follow up by email from my in store inquiry, decided to buy, designer I was working with was off that day, but other individuals made it happen. Loved the fact that purchase was a 1/3 down payment with balance at delivery as well since I was purchasing multiple pieces of furniture and had reached my monthly budget spend(this was during Florida reopen). Delivery had to be delayed, but again, the company followed up when I told them I would be available. Delivery was truly “white glove” service to desired location at no cost. This was critical again as others offered this option only at an additional cost which add up when making these type of major purchases. Delivery personnel were excellent, ensuring placement as well as furniture was leveled. They were properly attired for entering my home during COVID-19 which I appreciate. Would buy more as needed and highly recommend.

Pamela was so great to work with. She picked up on my tastes and recommended several items for new master bedroom and living room. Went the extra mile in visiting for measurements and ideas. Response time was always very quick. Would not hesitate to recommend her and Ethan Allen to anyone.

Great Customer Service in Sarasota. While on vacation ordered a mattress for delivery in Wisconsin. With the start of COVID-19 the shipping options had changed. Received frequent telephone calls to inform us about delivery. Ethan Allen even gave us the option to cancel the order. We decided to proceed.Love the Mattress. Wonderful for a great nights sleep! Working with the EA Sarasota Design Center — and particularly with Pamela Sacher — to decorate and furnish our condo (living room, master and guest bedrooms and window treatments) has been an extraordinarily fun and pleasant experience. All staff members are knowledgeable and helpful, the deliveries have consistently gone without a hitch, the delivery guys are incredibly conscientious and hardworking, and Pamela has gone above and beyond throughout this several months-long, long distance process. She listened to me, worked out design issues, measured carefully, was present for all deliveries and communicated with me throughout. I’ve worked with other design centers and interior designers and nothing comes close to matching this level of commitment and service. I would like to give Candis McDuffie a high recommendation. My husband and I stopped by and had been working with our designer in Grand Rapids, MI our home town. We had just stopped to make sure of our prior selections before ordering. Knowing upfront that Candis wasn’t going to make the commission on this she graciously helped anyway in every way she could. Her service was above & beyond! I would highly recommend her. Candis is very knowledgeable and sweet!

Cant Hold Back Anymore!We bought an Astor sofa and two chairs a little over a year ago. Since then the sofa cushions cushions have been replaced twice. When delivered to us the first time, we noticed abnormal gaps between the cushions. They were also not level and had rippling along the face of the cushions. Two replacements later, there are still gaps between the cushions to the point that you can read the writing on the lining underneath the cushions. When you sit, it is uncomfortable and you must continually shift the cushions to create a more normal fit between the end cushions and the middle cushion. The cushions also still have permanent wrinkles, ripples and puckering across the front due to the wrapping of the cushion under the fabric. They also do not sit level against the frame. I have contacted both in writing and verbally, the customer service department, the manager, and sales designer that sold it to me. No one ever followed up with me after the second delivery. I filled out a form expressing my concerns and gave it to the delivery crew. I am so unhappy with the sofa and both family and two friends that are experienced interior decorators agree with me that there are several things wrong wrong with this sofa. I have a Drexel Heritage sofa in another room that is over ten years old and the cushions have kept their original form and fit correctly on the frame. The prices are high the quality is low. This is not the Ethan Allen of years ago. I grew up with Ethan Allen furniture that my parents were proud to have in their home. The quality has gone way down. I do have pictures that will validate my concerns and dissatisfaction.
