Been coming here since 2019 all because I was 9 minutes late from traffic coming I called to let her know ahead of time because I’m always on time . But from the downtown construction causing me behind rushing get there the receptionist denied my service my appointment was at 10:30 I got there at 10:38 ! I was told that Camry didn’t want to accept my service I ask can I speak to Camry receptionist she lied saying she was in the restroom so I waited but she seem like she was getting aggravated told me Camry said she is not going be able accept my service . I work as a manager at retail store so I know what customer service supposed to be like. she wasn’t very understanding at all or trying to accommodate nothing I was tremendously upset!! Nicest person was Shannon she made me feel comfortable and at home. place going to go down hill DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE !!! Worst customer service ever!!

Today was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and I went in with joy and let me tell you, she was absolutely amazing she made me feel super comfortable and the experience was actually enjoyable (which I didn’t expect because this is my first time waxing my downstairs area) and this will not be my last time going to get a wax that’s for sure. I cannot say enough about how great my experience was I love Joy and I Will be recommending her to anybody who will ask. Also, the front desk staff was super sweet and so helpful. I must say my friend has been going here for some years now, she called me highly upset due the the poor customer service and no type of accommodating. She traveled all the way from Bradenton with a set appointment and even called in saying she may be a few minutes late . They stated to her that they have a 9 minute window and her appointment was at 10:30, she arrived at 10:38 on the dot and was denied service completely with a smirk which clearly stated that the receptionist didn’t take her serious at all . After leaving she called the facility to get some questions answered to to the arrival and the receptionist proceeded to declined her calls . I know this because she called multiple times with no answers but as soon as I call through my number it was a instant answer. I must say the way the receptionist handled the situation was very unprofessional . I have worked in customer service for years and this here showed carelessness. One more thing My friend asked to speak with the manager and she kept asking her name as if she wanted confirmation “to see” if it was my friend to deny actually giving the phone to a manager.

Dylann is amazing. I am 45 and never had a wax done till today and she made me feel so comfortable!!! Highly recommend her!! The staff here is great and so nice and explains everything!! Happy I found this place only took me 45 years!!!

They discourage men from going there,, They have a 9 minute late policy I was one minute late from there 9 minute late Policy,, Very understandable but I called 1st and let them know that I was going to be late... One minute late pass their policy,, A horrible way of doing business.... I also own my own business I would never ever Do that to anyone... The younger generation are like robots, Zero common sense....

Melissa is AMAZING! If you hesitate to try waxing check this lady out. She is a pro! Of course I read reviews before I booked with her, and they did not disappoint. If only she could talk to my regular waxer back home. There is a certain spot that I am usually sensitive at. Generally I am genuinely afraid I will knee my girl in the face. Whatever technique Melissa used worked. No pain, no danger for her own safety. I have already booked to see her before I leave.

This EWC is a 1000 times better than the one in Savannah. The ladies up front are super friendly and informative about everything. My waxer was Joy she went above and beyond and was very detailed ! Joy talked to me from the beginning to the end of my service . Her customer service skills are outstanding .I definitely recommend this location and Joy for a Brazilian . I Read reviews for Melissa before booking my first ever wax! Melissa made the experience comfortable and was very professional! I would recommend her and definitely will be back!

I went to the SARASOTA location and the front desk staff offered me a free wax to participate as a model for a new trainee. I agreed and left the place trusting the front desk staffs word and confirming 3 times that she would not take one of my passes ( since I pay a membership every year ) 2 weeks later I went back to my regular location because the trainee left some hair, which I never complained about because we all go through that experience process in a new profession and the trainee was very nice by the way . I found out that the SARASOTA location charged me, deducting one of my passes. I called múltiples times ( they always had cheap excuses ) and spoke to different staff : manager, first Megan, then Samantha, then Dominique, all lying to my face. Message from this experience: never trust those girls’words ( 20 - 25 years old approximately, very fake, not profesional ), pretending to be nice but in reality they just don’t care . Always put things in writing, specially when they were the ones to offer, and AVOID this location to save you from disappointment. If you have a membership I would advice to not renew it. It’s better to pay after you get the services, otherwise be prepared to hear this : “ sorry it was a miscommunication.

The purpose of going here is to remove wax not leave some behind. I have been to other locations that are very meticulous with their work. I did not experience that here.

I feel like they pick the girls that work there from a field of happy flowers and fairy princesses. Theyre honestly the sweetest, most friendly young ladies ever. My wax specialist did a great job. Always a pleasure to go to EWC

Melissa is so amazing! I followed her to European wax from Lunchbox wax. She is so amazing! I will follow her anywhere! She is the sweetest and so knowledgeable! I went to get my eyebrows and a Brazilian. It seemed pretty good until I came home to find out I still had a bunch of hairs some of them pretty long. I had to spend quite some time tweezing them. I feel like I just wasted my money.

I love Allyson! I went there 3 times before I got her and after I did she’s the only one I’ll see! I do a brazilian wax and we talk and laugh the whole time. It makes the whole experience a lot less awkward. And she’s fast! I’m in and out in less than 15 minutes. She’s also very knowledgeable and has made product recommendations for my skin that I’ve used, and will continue to use. She’s awesome ! Ask for Allyson!

Be aware...This salon hires brand new estheticians directly out of school.They hire them fully aware of this, assuring them they will be provided adequate training.If you consider 3 days of ‘training’ with 1 trainer for 3 new employees adequate? Ok.If you’re ok with having a technician that’s been forced to do your Brazilian wax after they told the salon manager and their trainer they did not feel adequately skilled and were not at all comfortable with this? Go for it.The work environment is toxic, and their staff is poorly trained.Go here at your own risk.

My first experience at the European Wax Center was amazing. When I first walked in they were very welcoming and took me to the back right away. It was a very clean and organized private room. Allyson informed me on the products she was using and was very gentle while waxing me. Their before/after care products worked and smelled amazing too. I felt very comfortable and I definitely will be back again.

I absolutely love this European Wax Center location. The staff is extremely helpful and very educated. Shannon is my go to waxer!! I don’t live in Florida but I make it a point to set up appointments with her when we are in town. She is patient and extremely talented!

The Lobby extremely clean, bright, no clutter, up to date date on the Newest Products, which I must say there is absolutely no pressure in buying. I personally when I make my appointments it has to go with my scheduling, so therefore many time a different Lady. I was not expecting the First Experience that I had to be the same after the fact, I have been back numerous times since then, I can only say all had the Knowledge, Extremely and Overwhelming Care on all Ladies who has preformed any and all services, all conducted themselves as if I was their personal Client.For all that is Reading this.... European wax center did a great job of making an unpleasant experience into a great one! I got a Brazilian wax done and I have to say I will definitely be coming back again. The wax specialist did a great job making me feel comfortable and explained each step along the way. I’ve been waxing for a while but Emily was able to give me some new advice on how to care for the area between services And gave me some advice I’ve never heard on pain management during the process. My husband is in the army so we travel a lot. I i’m glad they have so many locations, it’s nice to know that I can get a great service done without hunting for a new wax specialist every time we travel!!

I dont know why Ive never been to European Wax Center before, but my first visit was more than satisfactory! The ladies at receptions were so lovely and super informative! I was lucky enough to have Allyson as my waxer and she was great! I highly recommend booking your appointment with her, she is super personable and very professional! They took the lower half of my R eyebrow OFF TOTALLY. The gal also missed MANY STRAYS on both brows that needed to be taken care of to clean up my eyebrows. I do not have heavy brows - she was just totally incompetent - and they told me she was their best!!! Lucky me!If I could give no star I would. They refunded my $$ & offered a free wax - oh really ???!!!

I have been coming here for about four months now. It was my first waxing experience, and I chose this place because it has such good reviews. These reviews aren’t lying! Every trip I’ve had has been great. The girls at the front desk are always welcoming and friendly. I have had both Shannon and Allyson as waxologists and both are incredibly nice and personable. I would recommend this place to anyone!

European Wax Center is my go-to place for all my waxing. I travel around the country and the service is consistent everywhere I go, which is great for a challenging, intimate service.However, their app is one of the worst I’ve ever used. Which is the reason for four stars. It’s inconsistent, looks like you have to “sign up” rather than long in each time I use it, which is infrequently.

You gotta respect a company that calls you concerned that you didnt have a good experience the last time you were there.After speaking with the new manager, I decided to give them another chance. I went in for services today and I am more than happy. I will definitely be back and on a more regular schedule.

I was initially pleased with customer service and the salon, but after requesting an account credit for unfinished waxing (after being unable to come back in next day when discovering unfinished area) I was sadly disappointed that not only did I not get a credit, I was not contacted by management like I was assured of. There are many great salons in Sarasota; one of which I will become a monthly member of! This is not one of them.

I was able to get a same day appointment and had the wax specialist Shannon so my Brazilian was. She was so amazing, and made the whole process so easy and comfortable! I would most defiantly recommend booking with her!

Started getting waxed here in July. I bounce between the UTC location and Sarasota off Tamiami trail depending on my schedule and always treated so well. Extremely pleasant staff, both locations are super clean which is a huge deal of course and they were wicked helpful with telling me everything about aftercare for waxes. Products smell amazing and everything is reasonably priced. Highly reccomend them, and the packages they offer make great gifts so tell ya friends and family!

I have been going to EWC in Sarasota for quite some time. My visit for a Brazilian and eyebrow wax on 10/23 with Jessica was disappointing to say the least. I normally see Shannon but she was not working until the following day and I had an out of town trip planned. There was no plucking or shaping of my eyebrows just 60 second wax strips. My Brazilian felt so rushed and then I understood the consequences at my visit yesterday. I had never had ingrown hairs when Shannon does my waxing but this visit Shannon had to spend a lot of extra time plucking and tweezing each one out (it hurts!). She also spent time tweezing and shaping my brows so they look amazing again. She is the only one I will book with from now on, she is a true professional.

I have nothing but good things to say. I got a Brazilian wax and from he moment I walked in, the service exceeded my expectations. Josh greeted me at the front and was extremely friendly. Bree did my wax and she was very professional and very friendly as well. The wax is a hard wax and is specially formulated to only pull the hair out and not stick to the skin, so it was the least painful wax I’ve ever gotten. Come here for your waxing services!
