I have been here twice. The first time I went I was surprised at how low-key the place looked, but after I spoke with the gentleman behind the counter I was very impressed by how knowledgeable he was. I was looking for a nut for my riding mower that I could not find ANYWHERE..I went to Ace Hardware, Home depot, Preferred Turf, and a few other places to no avail. I finally found one that has that specific screw pattern at Gulf Coast Auto Parts!!!!! It took the gentleman five minutes and he found it, right away. The second time I was there was to replace my RV battery. Napa auto had it for $152, Interstate had it for $172. Gulf Coast had it for $119!!!. The best price by far! Love this place.

This place is fabulous. Richard and Sue are very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to help you find that hard to locate part. They even keep a set of old style parts books to look up parts that are not in the computer inventory. They will never sell you something you dont need.

After leaving advance auto parts,mark recogmented this store. I had a mangled brake caliper, since I have a 46 ply with a chevy brake system, know year and make, A sales rep richard there looked at it and said this is a mis-size chevy 80-85 range, I would check for this item, when the other employees, finished lunch I gave him my cell # and went to lowes for more shopping, I received a call fro Richard telling me he located the caliper and it was in stock.THis new caliper, cost less that what Brad from Daves repair would have charged me to repair my old caliper . Richard is very Knowledgable the best Ive seen in sarasota and I am 73 years old

Stopped in for some Amsoil marine oil. They didnt have any but were helpful.
