Purchased all our appliances for our new home from Monark in Sarasota. Terrible experience and few are outlined here. First issue, two appliances we received did not work at all. They do not take returns. They take no responsibility and you are forced to spend weeks repairing your brand new appliances. One did not work at the time of install and they left a broken appliance. The second appliance took over 2 months to repair. Second issue, when we requested the specifications on the appliances it took weeks to receive them and several times the incorrect specifications were sent over. Third, The representative, Mike, does not answer his phone or emails. Sarasota store does not even have a supervisor onsite to assist with these types of issues. This was particularly frustrating since many of the items were continuously delayed without any communication on why or when you would receive them. I will never purchase anything from this company again.

I have been to this store twice. The first time I went to get a price for appliances for a new house. We picked a couple combinations of possibilities, including some Wolf/ Sub-Zero. They said they werent sure if they could get Sub-Zero as they lost their authorization but would check. A few days later heard back that they couldnt quote or sell them. I asked if they could quote demos they had in stock and never heard anything back from them again. We planned on spending 30K+, so a reasonable sale just disregarded. Fast forward two months and I see some new Wolf appliances listed on Facebook. I contact the seller and he says I can see them at Monark. I go up to look, and the doors are locked at 2:30 on a Wednesday. I figured they ran out for something and I try to call the store. No answer, but my wife sees people inside. She finally gets someone attention and they unlocked the door. Apparently one of the salespeople had to run out for something quick which was fine. The woman who unlocked the door was busy with other people and said the other salesperson would be back soon. We looked around for a few minutes, not long, to see what they had for Wolf and Sub Zero. The salesperson came back and we asked about the appliances. He said he wasnt sure what might be available. He would need to talk to other salespeople who werent there or available to see what might be available for sale. In short, I wasted enough time on this company. There are other responsible and well run appliance stores out there to do business with. No need to waste your time and effort on this one. Both times we were there, a woman was there who was either an owner or manager that seemed interested in being helpful. Unfortunate she was busy with other people or projects both times we were there. That may have provided a different experience, but two tries is enough. I cant tell you if their pricing and support is decent or not. I can only tell you their customer service at the first (or second) contact was very poor for us. Again, there are good stores out there that will treat you much better than this so its not worth the effort to go here.

Great appliance company with a very professional and knowledgeable staff. You can feel confident buying a $40k+ Appliance package that they have included all the parts, pieces, hoses, cords, correct door swings, etc. No bait and switch. Installation is timely and professional. Service is great too.

We ordered appliances in March and they had not arrived in April when we went back north. Durind the summer we confirmed with Andrew that our appliances were in. We made arrangements for them to be installed in early November. In October Monark asked for the balance so delivery could be made November 3. On November 3 we were waiting for our appliances and when they did not come we called the store. Our appliances had never been ordered. Currently we are out of pocket $29000. Looks like a scam. Monark has promised us our money back but so far no money, no appliances. BEWARE

This has to be THE worst appliance store in the world. If you can find what you want somewhere else I would encourage you to do so! They are unresponsive and have absolutely NO follow-up or follow through. Not only are the arrogant in the showroom they dont do ANYTHING they promise. After purchasing over $50,000 worth of appliances from them I finally had to call the office of the President of the company to get someone from the Sarasota store to call me. To this day they have not supplied a trim piece for the Liebherr refrigerator that we purchased - it has been 3 years! The trim was paid for and our order confirmation said it had been ordered. When it didnt come for months I called and they said Oh that didnt get ordered - we will have it in a few weeks called 2 months later Oh I thought that part had been sent to you called 1 month later Oh let me check on that - I will have someone get in touch with you HA - 3 years later - still no part. That is just part of the story - just do yourself a favor and do business somewhere else! We started to buy all of the appliances at Appliance Gallery in Largo but decided it would be better to buy from someone in Sarasota because it was closer to Longboat Key - thought we would get better service!!!!!!! We got NO service - DONT DO BUSINESS WITH Florida Builder Appliance for any reason - you would be better off to do without!

Watch hours closely as they sometimes close early. Not a big show room but they do sell a lot of brands.
