I have been shopping here for years, sometimes finding a treasure but always enjoying the experience of looking in this lovely store. Lately, I especially appreciate the proprietors asking customers to wear a mask - it made me feel safe spending lots of time inside shopping.
Very interesting selection of stuff. Almost everything is VERY ornate glassware and decorative items for your home. Not the place for casual antiquing but more for the high-end buyer looking to decorate an old Victorian home. The place is filled from floor to ceiling with beautiful stuff. The owners seemed very nice and kept to themselves as I browsed the place.
Wide array of merchandise available. Disappointed only because I wanted to purchase a store display item!
This has been our first stop for antique shopping in Sarasota Bradenton Tampa Bay area every year for over 20 years. The selection is wonderful, prices are fair and the quality is exceptional. The owner is always helpful and friendly . We buy an eclectic array of antiques and always leave with something special. There is a reason its called Treasures.
Kind and helpful staff with beautiful offerings !!!
The owner is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We love going here because we always find great items. The selection is topnotch. I read some reviews here. Why are there always people who think they are above rules ? If they had a business, they would need rules too, no ???
They confronted us and insisted on masks being worn as opposed to many similar places here. No bargaining. Not sure how antique many of their items are, saw the owner spray painting something right in front
If you want to get lost in time and find interesting gifts or home decor, you HAVE to check this place out! Mark, the owner, and all his staff are super friendly and are content to let you browse to your hearts content. Plan a little extra time so as not to miss all the wonderful items on hand in this wonderful place.
Good selection of estate pieces but no adjustment for cash purchases. True collectors can do better elsewhere.
Today, a man, presumably an owner or manager, told me I couldn’t use a parking space behind his building to help someone unload a UHAUL at the building across the street. I told him we’d be there no more than 2 hours. He had like 20 empty spaces and this would’ve been out of the way. Without hesitation, he said “no”. Wasn’t even close to being friendly about it. He just assured himself that my wife and I would never step foot in his business.I guess business must be so good that you can afford to alienate potential customers. I guess he never heard the saying “you get more flies with honey than vinegar”. I’m sure the “owner” will respond with some lame reason or excuse to deny such a simple and harmless request but my opinion still stands. This person should understand that any person that he deals with at his business could be a potential customer. Why chase them off???
I wouldnt even give this store a 1 star. This store denied my business because I had a stroller. What am I supposed to do with my kid in the store? I have never had someone deny my business because I had a stroller. That is rude and unsupportive of parents. Rude people!!
This antique shop was so amazing to me, i shop at many antique shops all over florida, but this shop was so adorable, and filled with so many unique items. Alot of asian inspired antiques. One of the best yet.
Great shop! Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable.
