Great coffee house for relaxing with your friends. Their signature drinks and blended drinks are nice. Their espresso is very good. Their drip coffee leaves much to be desired, but taste is subjective anyway.Great place to relax on a Friday night. Sometimes they will have live music.Parking lot is a little claustrophobic and tight, but worth it if you can get parking. The park right behind it is newly renovated and beautiful for a date night or even just an evening stroll with your brew.

This *could be* a good place, but the employees just ruin that. the coffee is ok, but all the blended/iced/frappe drinks barely have any coffee flavor. they are VERY slow to make the orders, the employees never greet or acknowledge anyone coming in or waiting. there were six of us(three separate groups) that came in close together....the girl working didnt even look up or say anything to any of us for over five minutes. thats been typical of the last handful of times weve been there. 👎

I come here weekly, sometimes daily. The staff is so friendly and the drinks and pastries are outstanding. I wish they would stay open later like they used to so I could study later in the day, it’s a great cozy atmosphere for any occasion.

I walked in and the place was super cute it had a really casual vibe to it and the staff was friendly. they also gave me the option to have my drinks in paper or ceramic cups, which is super environmentally conscious and adds to the atmosphere of this place. i ordered the seasonal latte and i was not disappointed.

One of the last few cozy coffeehouses in town with comfortable seating, warm atmosphere and the music isnt too loud or harsh. Keep these places busy over Starbucks!

Really nice and cozy spot. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Tried a iced cold- brew coffee one time before and a cappuccino, both tasted great. This spot is good to grad a coffee and study, read and meet with friends. They also have outdoor seating, I definitely like that option. I will be visiting this place again soon.

The coffee is marginal, and selection choices are very limited. The atmosphere is nice and trendy but the coffee (both espresso and drip) are shallow and lack robustness. The staff and the clientele are cold and rude. I much prefer Santee Coffee corner.

Coffee is really good here, they also have a great selection of really nice teas. They often have live music, I especially love the open mic night. They are friendly and know about coffee. Its a little place, I hope they had a bigger space, but at the same time, you love the small space charm. Highly recommend.

A wonderful coffeehouse with a large selection of various hot and cold beverages, including a variety of coffee drinks and teas. Plus they have an offering of soups, bagels, sandwiches, etc. On some nights they offer live music from local musicians or bands.

Im glad I stumbled on this local coffee shop! I was in the area looking for something small and local and this fit the bill in every way. I got a 16oz mocha which came out perfectly smooth and no bitterness at all (unlike the big chain were all familiar with). If Im back in the area Ill definitely be back!

People are friendly as always, no outdoor seating because of COVID. Only issue is the mocha I got seemed more milky than usual. Got an extra shot (3 total in a 16oz). A little disappointed. Normally their mochas are pretty good. Thats why the 4 out of 5 today.

So glad there are other places to get coffee drinks beside the chain coffee shops! You have to try the peppermint latte - amazing!! Not much to eat if you low carbing it - but the latte is enough - yummmmm!

Love love love Kaffee Meister! Remember the old days when there was no Starbucks and you could walk into a cool little coffee shop that had its own feel and unique-ness that made you just fall in love with it? Great music, great place to chill with friends (pre-covid when you could do such things) ot just hang out and relax on you own. They even make the pretty heart designs with your milk foam when you get a latte, and if you are staying you get a real mug (also probably pre-covid) so you feel right at home. PLUS they have GLUTEN FREE goodies like muffins and bagels that are DELICIOUS! (Which I really appreciate myself, being gluten free). Go there!

I really enjoy the environment here, and I like that they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. However, the quality of drinks is never consistent and the employees move at a very slow pace. I really want to love it here, but they might need more employees or better training. I see so many good reviews, so maybe I go on off days.

Ill be honest and say upfront that Im not really a coffee drinker. Our church actually gets coffee here though and serves it at our church on Sundays. I frequent the shop for an early morning mens group that our church has and enjoy being in the shop. They have other things for non-coffee drinkers like me. I often get acai bowls and hot chocolate. They have a nice outdoor seating area and I know my pastor frequents the shop to work and write his sermons.

I love the location of this coffee house. Very polite staff. Environment is peaceful great place for studying and or on date. Great choices of all mixed coffee drinks. Thanks for making my experience a memorable one.

Great place with a great vibe and they seem to be an indie cafe, but in a good way. Decor is chill and relaxing and they have the best nitrogen cold brew coffee ever! Service was friendly, crowd seemed collegiate and focused but also relaxed. Seating is both indoor and outdoor and very comfortable.Highly recommended!

I go in here most of time. Youll probably spend too much money here because the food and drinks here are delicious. It has a good vibe. The staff are very friendly. They tolerate me talking to them too much. They have a large variety of goods. If youre down to study, hangout with friends or just be there by yourself, it is definitely the place for you.

I live close to this shop and i am so happy that i do ! I do not think the customer service or the quality of products could be better. The owner is very nice. All of the workers are very polite and even seem sincere. The atmosphere is great and all the music nights are fun. I love this place :-)

My favorite coffee shop in all of San Diego! I live in OB and I will drive to Santee to get coffee here, it is that good! Friendly staff, cute coffee shop vibes, delicious lattes. Always a friendly atmosphere and delicious espresso. For first time goers, please understand that Kaffee Meister is a coffeehouse. Not a coffee shop or Starbucks. The people at KM actually take their time making the drinks perfect! Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings are probably their busiest times, so I really recommend going sometime during the week or in the evening on a weekend for a more laid back, quiet crowd of people who just want to sip their coffee and work on their laptops :)

A COFFEE SHOP FOR COFFEE CONNOISSEURS!!!!!!1) First thing I have noticed is how incredible the customer service is at Kaffee Meister. Very authentic people, not fake welcoming.2) For those who know coffee, you will appreciate the full flavor of their shots (which are not bitter) and the smooth finish. They have really out done themselves with the quality of coffee they serve.3) There is something about lattes and cappuccinos served in ceramic mugs that just makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable than Starbucks. The way the drinks are served, the latte art, the cookie on the side... wow.

Just walked in for the first time and waited to get asked for my order then a nice couple walked in after me and got served and I got forgot. So I left since the worker girl cant do her job right. Really upsetting. I dont recommend this place if they cant even have decent service. Thank you for saving me money plus tip.

Delish coffee and really great soups and quiche. Owned by a nice Christian man. They have bands play as well. They also have a location in Lakeside by the Big Red Barn but the food selection there is way limited.

I must have caught the staff at a bad time. I usually go to the one in Lakeside and the service there is perfect, helpful, outgoing people who do their best to anticipate your need. I went to the one in Santee today and the young girl standing behind the counter just looked at me. No How may I help you? Would you like to try XX? No What can I get for you, she just looked at me, I mean looked at me and then through me as if I were not there. OK, so whatever I asked what the egg and cheese sandwich is served on and I got a Solemn Croissant as if answering my question was agonizing for her. I ordered a coffee in a mug and a cheese Danish, no asking of if I wanted it heated up, she put it on a plate robot like and did not provide a fork. When I inquired about how do I get to the patio, she looked at me as if I had lost my mind and said The door is right there OK, so I missed that door, what she did not throw in after that is Once you go through that door it locks. I hauled my laptop, purse, coffee and Danish out the door, I dropped the fork I had to ask for on the way out. I decided I would just come back for it, thats when I discovered the door locks behind you. I had to bug a customer to open the door for me. Then I got a new fork from the robot like girl who just seems sullen to me. I went back out the door that locks and was about to log on to the internet and realized you need a password that was not offered to me even though the robot like help saw me several times with a laptop. That was when I had reached the end of the line, I knew I couldnt get back in through that door so I picked up my laptop and went in the other way and asked for my money back. What could they have done better? Customer Service. With all the unemployment why have someone with little to no customer service taking orders? What would I have done better? Id have asked How can I help you Would you like a fork with that?. here let me help you to the patio, you are carrying a lot Oh the door is over there, but it locks behind you. I will leave her nameless she knows who she is and so does the manager. The manager was out at the time but had returned as I was asking for my money back and I explained to him what had happened. He was sorry. I may try again but if I see that same girl in there, I will walk out again. I have no doubt she is a wonderful girl at heart, she just needs some lessons in customer service. The coffee was hot and it was good and the place is very nice inside and it was very busy so people do like it and I do like the one in Lakeside. I give them 3 stars even though the customer service was less than great.

Just moved back to Santee and was in search of a nice coffee shop that wasnt a big chain. Found this one and was very happy. Great atmopshere. Perfect for reading or bible studies. Coffee is great as well, and I guess I should of started with that. Definitely recommend a visit to this place with a nice book.

Best local coffeehouse in Santee. Good coffee, the staff is great, and they partner with other local vendors like the flower lady that sells mothers day flowers in the store (which are beautiful!). Love supporting local business, Ill choose this over Starbucks every day of the week!

The past 3 times that I came here my mentally challenged brother and I were treated badly. We were given nasty looks and they refused to give him the cookie on the side that he looks forward to. There is one guy however that does treat us kindly and the cookie is always included. In my honest opinion the coffee is usually sour and they burn their shots. I forgive them but I am never coming back.

The coffee is great and the service was even better. All of the servers were so nice and very informative. They have great food too. My husband loved the California Gold kombucha. We will be going back soon! Maybe even this week when they have open mic night... Thursdays!

This place have a good internet and the staff is okay; but the AC doesnt work at all. 3 times in this summer and this issue still not fixed. Management please fix it!!!Dont pick this location in the summer unless you are ready to sweat. You better off the library which is just a couple feet from this location.

Kaffee Meister is a cute coffee shop! I loved their cold brew and havent had a drink Ive disliked. If youre looking for a non-chain hometown feel, KM is the place to go.

A cool coffee shop with a nice street view and decent menu. Prices are in line with competition, and the coffee is quite good. A fair amount of seating and clean, relaxed environment makes for potential future growth.

The latte I got was fine, not exceptional for the price or time it took to get it (about 10 minutes). I also ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and that was completely dry and tasteless. Everyone must only come here for the ambience.

I live half an hour away, and am happy to make the drive to this awesome coffee shop. It is homey, welcoming, and the coffee is fantastic. I love the staff and the patrons that come in. I also love the entertainment that comes in on Thursday and Friday nights. Its a great meeting place, socializing area, and perfect if you have work you need to get done.

Great coffeeshop for those looking for a great macadamia latte, cold brew, or fresh, on tap kombucha! My husband and I visit regularly as we are both in college still and find it a great go to place for studying. This isnt as great a place on some weeknights when there is live music, because it can get fairly crowded. However, if youre looking to enjoy good local music, its a great place to hear a wide variety of local artists display their talents with a delicious drink as your sidekick.

Cinnamon available for a classy gourmet effect. They make both herbal and caffeinated teas: Friendly staff indulged me with a tall cup of ice along with my hot mug to allow self - timing the steeping of my eventual iced Throat Therapy tea. Only four and a half stars because they always forget one item -- today it was the honey tub lid.Ever since opening, weve enjoyed the street-side seating (up a grassy bank from the sidewalk) nestled among shady trees, with a pleasant river valley view. Bring your mosquito repellent at night though!A few weeks ago, took in a free performance with the winner of the International country female vocalist award... a special surprise!
