Great place to relax and unwind. Theres usually a little wait for the food, but its not bad. Its a quiet enough area even with the trolley right behind you. The bagels always taste and feel fresh. Ive never had a bad order here. Its conveniently located next to several shops if youre in the mood for browsing. Picture below is of a Tasty Turkey with Potato Salad and a Pickle.

Got our order in only to have 5 people after us get their orders in alone with curbside orders. No communication from staff and manager was bickering with another employee who left a trainee to try and make orders by herself. Normally a fantastic place to be, but by far the worst service I have ever received here. 20 minutes in and still no order or communication.

Tasty bagels and found out they have donuts. There were only two, but that is new for me. This one was the Happy Birthday Donut.

Food is great, but app still doesnt have everything they sell available for order (for example Apple cinnamon bagels) and when you call this location to order they never answer their phone.

We then asked if we could tell her the order and she could make it with the exchanged bagels, and all she said was, Youd still have to come in and pay. What?

The bagels are chewy as they are boiled first and then baked. They got rid of the salt bagel and now just offer a pretzel bagel. Its not the same. However, they do have some of the best bagels in San Diego

The store was clean and employees were nice. Got a turkey avocado bacon sandwich and asked for regular mayo and mustard instead of the spicy tomato sauce, got dijan mustard and was too far away to have it fixed. Please teach employees the difference :/

Worst case of bad customer service was early Saturday morning. I have never seen them this bad. Three kids behind the counter talking bad about the customer who was in front of me. Three spoiled kids with poor work ethic and no customer service had plenty of time to run their mouths and talk about everything else but work. To bad they were to busy to wait on the customers. I will not come back. I have been coming here for over a year. Now its Starbucks for the future.

Best place for bagels and cream cheese. The coffee needs some help. Not hot enough at times and the iced coffees are made to sweet.

Sometimes it can get really busy and crowded, but other than that there is great service and the food here is fantastic.*Update*I go to Einstein Bagels often, and the restaurant is often clean and nice. But today while I was sitting and eating my food, I spotted a cockroach crawling around the floor. I never thought that I would see a cockroach at Einstein Bagels, but there I was watching a cockroach. Granted, the employees did remove the cockroach as soon as I informed them about it and they apologized. Definitely will think twice before going again. :(

Today March 2nd, 2019 I tried the twice baked hashbrown, delicious! Customer service from some have definitely improved. January 4, 2019, Two women are working. Customer service is bad. Some customers are greeting workers, instead of the other way around. A customer who is sitting and eating, just asked a worker, How are you doing this morning? Many tables are dirty. Woman who cashed me out, did not say thank you. Woman who brought my food, only said maam. She didnt even say, youre welcome when I said thank you. She also brought someone their food to their table without saying anything at all. This is only my second visit ever to any, Einstein Bros Bagels. My first visit, I was given proper customer service from two gentlemen.

Great bagels! Overpriced. Today they ran out of bagels, and didnt seem interested in making more. Strange, they are still open for hours. If the bagels werent completely delicious I wouldnt come back.

This was a great place to hang out, unfortunately they have changed their coffee and removed other products. It appears that the business is more concerned with profit.

I am fan of Einstines. They allways have good bagles. This store can be busy on the weekend but they usally always have a good selection of bagles all day. The location sometimes brings in some questionable people but that is not the stores fault. Staff is nice and dose a great job. I never had a problem with the service.

Its a great place. Has free wifi to get some homework done, or just to chill and browse. If you join their newsletter you get a free bagel, and gives you discounts every once and awhile.The bagels are delish, not too expensive, and they are pretty quick with your order, if there isnt to long a of a line.Really enjoy this place, come here in the mornings for a bagel right before class.

Wretched i dont go often but Ive had a gift card, when I do go its usually a bad experience but today was bad enough to complain. When I walked in the line ended at the door there were 14 people in front of me, it took more than 10 minutes and less than 15 minutes to order. There was one girl taking orders, 1 girl and there was one unsmiling face at the other register to the left where they take your money. Did I say 1 girl taking orders? There were two other women behind the counter with the one lady taking orders, they were putting together toasted or cooked orders. while i was standing in line for those 13 minutes I noticed those 2 ladies were just standing there quite often doing nothing but chatting. When I finally got close to the counter to order the lady in front of me ordered 3 dozen bagels the girl taking the order had to get that order (two other ladies just standing there) while the only order taker filling a 3 dozen order. I looked back and the line was out the door. Its not like this sometimes its like this all the time but today just was over the top. No manager? Manager has no eyes? Manager is willfully ignorant? This was at 9:40am I finally left with my toasted bagel at 10am. Ive used up the gift card i wont be back unless I get another gift card.
