Bought my Altima from here, I dealt with management through out the whole process since I am the General manager of Cartunes across the highway. We do work often for them and that process was awesome, no complaints. They asked me to do all my servicing through them. Well I did, but they did not clean up after them selves. At my shop, we make sure to cover everything so we do not have this happen to any customers car. Take care of the car like its your own, because I know whoever worked on my car would not leave it looking like this if it was their car. You cant tell from the thumbnail, but there is black grease all over my bumper and fender, and red liquid running from my gas tank. (my car was on empty and washed before I brought it)

Finally got the RAV4 Hybrid that we reserved for and it was worth the wait!The Good1. Cris was my Internet Sales Manager and was very nice and courteous since Day1.2. When I reserved for the car, they sent me to a secured web site to enter my info which not all dealers have.The Bad1. There was this Stargard added to the original quote that I got weeks ago. It cost $995. Cris said the dealer installs it in every car. So, it sounded like I just have to take it. I find this very sneaky.2. The finance manager Hasan threw a fit after I did not take any of the extra plans he offered.

This was my first purchase with Freeman Toyota and would definitely do business with them again. I was dreading purchasing a new car and having to sit at the dealership for hours, but that wasnt the case. I was in/out in about 1.5 hours as we reserved the car prior by paying a deposit. I went through internet sales and worked with David Pappas who had all the paperwork ready when we arrived. I was also able to get the pricing before hand which may the transaction less stressful. I also enjoyed working with Hasan who provided me with clear expectations of the manufacturer warranty, etc.

Ive bought three cars from Freeman now. A 2006 Prius that lasted me til 2017. The 2015 Prius was great but suddenly a tire wasnt a tire anymore so (thanks to the sales team Daniel and Sandy. Daniel doing the heavy lifting plus Hasan in finance.) now Im in a 2016 Prius C and couldnt be happier. Thank also to the fantastic service team including Geoff B. who works so hard and always makes me feel that my car is in great hands.

We had a weird interaction today where the salesman seemed like he didn’t want our business? We did drive up in a busted up Corolla, so I don’t know if they were just judging based on that— but even if you have no inventory, try get us in a used car to test drive and we might have done a pre-order, don’t just shrug and let us walk off. Anyways, we decided to drive over to the Petaluma dealership and put down a deposit for a RAV4 hybrid there instead, because they were true professionals. Definitely worth it to go the Petaluma Toyota dealership instead!

We had a car in mind and wanted to check it out. We had heard of the car shortage due to chip production problems. We were surprised when entering the showroom to see only one car on display!The sales rep told us they had no new cars to show us. We did check a used car of a similar type - but it wasnt very current to the model we had in mind.We live in weird times, and looking for cars, you better do your homework. We put a deposit on a car, we believe, will work for us. The car is on a ship heading this way. We can go forward or bail when we see it. But at least we are in the queue. The people there were as helpful as you can be without something tangible to talk about. Interesting times.

I was really pleased with how great the service was which made me really relieved and confident to travel far. Ive always gone to Freeman Toyota ever since I bought my first car. MR2 and the Spider MR2 which lasted 20 years and gifted it to a friend and shes still drives it. The new car Toyota CHR I have it for three years and eventually upgrade it to a hybrid next year

Ive been buying parts here since I was 16. Always worked with Ken, who is amazing and wasnt available today. Called parts and was quoted $156 compared to San Francisco Toyota at $107.00. Parts guy didnt seem to care when I told him that. He did say, have a nice day. Long story short, theyre selling over list and happy to do so. When youre 50% over another local dealer in a more expensive area, time to go back to school.

Avoid Parts Dept.Needed an oil filter. Normally order online but since I was going to be going by Freeman, figured Id just get it there. Mistake. Ive always avoided dealer parts departments because they always very slow. Waited about 15 minutes for the one guy to get to me. Seems everyone but me has veeeerry perplexing parts problems that take time. Multiple lines for multiple registers but only one guy. Of course everyone lines up first in different lines.

I recently needed a Car to drive to LA for my mothers 100th birthday 🎂. I tried all the big national rental companies and they told me that inventory was down and prices high so I called Freeman Toyota and rented a brand new 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE and we were off with LA traffic, winds and more 9 hours down and 8 back. I was glad to have a dependable car and when I turned it in they gave me a discountTurned out to be about half the price of a Chrysler 300 from Enterprise. Ill be back Freeman and when Im ready for a new car Ill be there

HahaAnd also charge you inspection fees.Not to mention the repair cost was over the actual value of the car.They wrote in the report that I asked for things I couldnt possible ask for, because they are all technical words and I am not a mechanics.Terrible attitudes too and shady business.Been a loyal customer of Toyota for 20 years, and they ruined it for it.

The service experience was horrible I waited 3 hr for roof rack to be placed on my 2020 highlander when I was told it would only take an hour to put them on then to be the only African American in the dealship that came before the 15-20 other people, and not to mentioned someone came after me got roof racks and was out in no time. I hate to play the race card but how I was treated when you see so many others non African Americans get excellence service it just sad I will definitely be calling corporate to make a complaint.

They keep the place clean and sanitary. I like how their service department is friendly and hard working. Getting in now is rather confusing due to Covid. Only thing I didnt care for is spending a lot of money on tires and an alignment, only to forget putting back a couple of wheel covers. When I pointed that out, they were very apologetic and took care of it. Id rather go here over an hour away than my local Toyota dealer, where the staff is rude and overcharge.

I had the most excellent experience with Freeman and specifically the sales person Manuel! The morning I called, he gave me lots of information about available models, and when I came by he was ready with everything that I needed to see to make a good decision. This purchase was incredibly easy, and relatively fast. He was attentive to Covid precautions, and efficient with paperwork. This is our third time buying a Toyota from Freemam, and all have them have been good experiences, but this one was the best!

I went there during the coronavirus pandemic, and witnessed two completely different young men come into their business; not wearing any mask. No one who worked there asked them to put a mask on. These were men in their late 20’s old enough to know better. Also, one of the desk attendants didn’t have her mask over her nose the whole time I was there for like two hours.Also, today, I went in for a recall on my car, I was told by the person who checked me into the system that there would be no charges. When I got home I found a $30 invoice in my email account. Now, I have to review it and find out why.Going to consider a different Toyota dealership even if I have to drive further.

I have bought parts from them and service was average and for that reason they get 3 stars since they were not very helpful. Now as far as service when trying to buy, it is 2 stars. I was there inside the building and people would walk by for about 4 min before anyone came by and asked if I was being helped. In addition the person who helped didnt quite know much about the vehicles, like the differences in trim levels and what they have. To be fair I have to mention that I went to another brand dealership that same day and the person helping didnt know a lot about the trim level difference but at least someone came over with the first minute we arrived.

Never trust anyone here. They will constantly lie, pressure, and price gouge you. Salesman will overinflate the price of the car. Finance guy will pressure you into buying a useless overpriced warranty and a useless overpriced car alarm and probably over useless items. They will stick you with a criminal interest rate and lie about everything every step of the way. Go elsewhere.

March 2021: Now only 2 stars: I had to come back to this place for an oil change. 2 hours later I am still here with no update on when it will be done. I arrived in a great mood, and I leave frustrated. * just got to my car and On top of that they left trash in my car!*older review from different situation last yearIve been waiting at the service desk for about 10 minutes with no check in or assistance. (This is after I walked up to the service desk and being told to wait at the parts desk) The bothersome part is that there are 4 staff members chatting at the service desk not even attempting to help. I wonder how long I should wait before becoming upset...

This place is a scam. I went in to get an oil change came out with my car acting funny. Lucky for me I use to work in service at a dealership so I knew what to look for. I found one of my air filter caps in the back of my engine hidden at the bottom. I shouldve known this place was iffy because I called this place to set an appt. And no one answered the phone. Customer service was bad. When I went to check in for my appointment there was some confusion over the cars previous owner having had the car serviced at this location and myself being the new owner. While the associate handling this confusion eventually handled the issue. I was told one to one and a half hours for a 20,000 mile oil change and inspection. This is my first hybrid vehicle and my first time bringing my business directly to a dealership, so I understood the time frame and the associate let me know that he would text me or find me in the waiting area when things were done. He did neither of those things. Not only did I wait a total of 3 hours, but no one assisted me at all when I was the last person in the waiting area.I get that people get panicked and hostile when it comes to cars as they are a huge investment, so I dont add to the negative energy. Seeing customer after customer consoled by the staff at this dealership was only sightly reassuring. I tried to make eye contact and smile at every employee to at least get a hello or Can I help you? but cast down gazes and zero interaction is what I greeted with. When the cashier finally noticed I was still waiting, I explained my situation and she blithely responded, Thats no good. She was the one person who had my keys and had seen me waiting in an empty waiting room and did nothing. This was a failure on the majority of the staff at Freeman. Do better.

Although I am a devout Toyota fan and would not buy any other type of vehicle, I have not been impressed with the sales or service departments at Freeman. The service department is unbelievably slow and unorganized, and the sales and financing department consistently tries to pressure you into buying their overpriced service packages (even if you clearly tell them you are not interested ). Although I prefer to buy vehicles locally, I don’t think I will be shopping here again in the future, and I will never go back to the service department after my experience today

While most car dealerships try to rip you off with service prices. Toyota is very up front with the costs involved so you know you aren’t getting random charges. Johnny was especially helpful getting my car the service he needed and he spoke to us as a person and not a salesperson. Paying $160 for an oil change on a 10 year Camry, BELOW ME.Told well thats just CALI for yah. Had to demand a cap in diagnostic services at 2 hours and $300 dollars although they claimed they spent 6+ hours telling me to replace entire power steering module when the power steering stopped working. $1300 Lied to about vehicle being worked on when I saw it sitting in lot. Service reminds me of used car salesman with pitchforks. I miss Earl Stewart Toyota they are the best.

In spite of being under construction the place was clean. The service was very good and much faster than we thought it would be. We didnt want go give the loaner car back. It was wonderful. They went above and beyond what they needed to. They also text you when you car goes in to be serviced with the number of the tech who is working on your car. That way if you need to tell them some thing you forgot to mention you can text them. Thank you for the great experience

I purchased a 2016 Toyota Sienna from Freeman Toyota. I love the car, but just discovered that Freeman does not offer a loaner vehicle, even when they are doing a major recall that will take most of a day. If I lived in Santa Rosa, this would be fine, but living in Calistoga means that my wife must make two round trips to Santa Rosa to take care of this work.I would not recommend purchasing from Freeman, and I know I will do all my future servicing locally.Too bad, because the people are very nice, and everything else seems good quality.

Generally ok. I purchased a used 2015 car here. As an out of state resident, they handled the paperwork process well. They also picked me up at Santa Rosa airport to take delivery of my vehicle which I appreciated.Where I was not completely satisfied is I only received one key fob. Yes, the car was “as is” but I paid the asking price and didn’t bother them with petty price dickering. Also, there was a missing brand nameplate on the trunk. I asked if they could put a new one on. Sorry, the car is “as is” again (I did find a badge on eBay for about $30). Finally, I have waited nearly 2 months for my vehicle Title and have yet to receive it (this may be an issue with CA DMV but no explanation from Freeman provided).In summary, Freeman handling of the sale was adequate but I wouldn’t count on them exceeding your expectations.

Came to get a spare key as mine was lost and parts desk guy said it would have to take an appointment to program key. I spoke to the Director of the department G.Q., and he understood that getting days off more me is very difficult, let alone drive to a Toyota Dealer being at least 90-miles back and forth. He immediately set me up with Johnny the service writer and they fast-tracked it for me! I’m not asking for this type of service everywhere but the process is an easy one to program a new key, and cut through protocol due to my special circumstances. I’ll know next time I need an appointment but the level of understanding was very cool! Bravo!

Absolute liars work here. I saw a used car online and called to ask about it, and said I wanted to take it to a mechanic. Saul told me I dont think so, we are satisfied with the state of the vehicle. ???? Then Hector got on the phone and said yeah sure we can do that. So I set up an appointment with a shop literally across the freeway from them. Hector kept saying if anything changes I will let you know which made me feel uneasy as if he was going to pull something on me. SURE ENOUGH. I call the auto shop the next morning and the car hasnt been dropped off. Mind you its 9:50 a.m. I text Hector and said please confirm you will drop the car at auto shop. He proceeds to lie to me and say someone is already here looking at the car. I thought that was odd so I called into the general number and spoke to another salesman and asked if the car was being viewed right now. He said No, there are only 2 people here in our showroom. So then I asked him to go out and physically look at car to see if someone is looking at it. A long time goes by and then he text me and says someone is buying it. I asked which salesman sold the car and he says someone other than Hector. Now thats odd isnt it? Hector shows the car but another salesman takes the credit? Yeah no. They didnt want me to take the car in for inspection so they would rather LIE and say its sold. I am sending a total stranger in randomly to see if the car is still there, which Im sure it is! The guy who told me it was sold hung up on me when I told him I work for a law firm. They ALL LIE HERE, and cover eachother. And they dont want you getting vehicles inspected, NOT GOOD. STAY AWAY!!!

Toyota makes a wonderful van and car. I own both. Getting parts for my older van, 2001 is easy at Freeman. When I retire my van at the end of the year, Im going to replace it with a new one. My car is only two years old and I anticipate many more years of use.Service is the area I have had problems with.Their mechanics are excellent. But I have had a call not returned, when I was told they would. One appointment I made was almost cancelled until I complained about it. So I get my car serviced at a specialists shop, where the mechanics are Toyota certified.

Everyone there is very nice.If you go there to have your car serviced they will let you borrow a loaner for free IF you have purchased the car that is being serviced.If you have NOT purchased your Toyota THERE nope, no loaner car for YOU!This is NOT a good inventive for me to want to come back to PURCHASE my next Toyota.Yes,....There is a shuttle - Runs until 5.Bring a book hang out in the lobby.

If you have a hybrid battery do not go to these guys because they are shady and they are liars especially Bobby. My car was still under warranty and I could get my battery replaced but they lied to me and I have documentation proving that my car is still under warranty doesnt matter to see or not. So if you have a hybrid battery dont even try to go to Toyota call Green Bean battery. Look it up on Google its 1500 bucks and its a 5 year unlimited mile warranty forget about Toyota and forget about this service these people who work in Santa Rosa are shady just like the people in Ukiah I dont understand why Toyota is so shady. If you have a Hybrid battery that needs to be replaced look up Green Bean battery again five years unlimited mile warranty. You will save 4500 bucks

I had just bought new tires and wanted to have my wheel alignment checked. I took my Toyota truck to Freeman Toyota and was quoted a price to have the work done. After a short wait I was called up to the counter and told the wheel alignment check was completed and no adjustment was needed, but the real surprise came when I was told that as a customer courtesy there would be no charge! The person helping me was friendly and knowledgeable and definitely the right guy for the job. Usually taking your car in to have work done is not much fun but this was a pretty good experience.... thanks Freeman Toyota.

Ive really enjoyed Freeman Toyota up until recently. Last year my car was totaled (hit by another vehicle) and if that has ever happened to you then you would understand the financial loopholes you have to go through with insurance and finding a new car. Previous to the accident I had purchased a service package that would pre-pay services to my car in the future. Well I never used my services due to my car accident and because I didnt cancel within 30 days of agreement purchase I had to be prorated the full amount that I paid. My car was not totaled within 30 days of agreement and the loopholes I had to go through to even contact someone for a service refund was tedious. In the end, I got less than half of what I paid for services I never used and the employees that I worked with could care less about my situation. How insensitive of Toyota to not have exceptions to service refunds for people in these situations. Its all about money at the end of the day, sometimes I wonder why I even go here to service my car

The service staff was cheerful and offered a shuttle to take me wherever I wanted while they worked on the car. Our car was ready when I was told it would be, and was washed and vacuumed. Check out was easy and my car was parked right outside the service dept. Everyone was nice and the cashier explained what the service people found and gave me their recommendations. A totally positive experience.

I was well treated at Freeman Toyota from my calling to get an appointment to my visit yesterday. Kyle Rochette led me through the process, spotted the fact that my belts needed replacing, and helped me get a solid 30,000 mile service. My 2002 Toyota Tacoma is running really well. I have 173,000 miles on the car and fully expect it to last past 200,000. My car was cleaned before it was returned and I was treated to a loaner so I could get some shopping done as well. All for a very competitive price(I know because I cross referenced with other Toyota dealerships before I came in) Thanks for an excellent job.
