A really excellent array of goods, from tinctures to candles and cards – all produced by very cool, small makers. It was so nice to find some niche items I took for granted in larger cities!! Owner was friendly and super helpful; more than willing to give some local recommendations. Definitely worth a peek!
I’ve been dying to go to this store for so long! It didn’t disappoint. Full of local and small business artisan pieces — tarot cards, candles, small batch oils and bath salts, AMAZING shirts, pottery and mugs and canteens and bowls (my fave, coco chispa!), jewelry, art and linens, to name a few. Worth your time, and easy to find.
Came here twice in my short stay in Santa Fe. There are so many unique artifacts here - tinctures, oils, books, cards, and so much more. This is a place you can spend some time in exploring all the nooks and crannies. Testers are available of most oils, sprays and tinctures. The owner is really friendly, genuine and helpful. I enjoyed meeting her very much and was happy to shop here.
I love this place! Used to shop at their location in Denver before they moved back to my hometown. It’s my go-to spot for gifts and cool items for the house. Big fan of the shirts that say Santa Fe with an image of a Pueblo. They also have some of my favorite bandanas, which are coming in handy these days and have become an everyday wear.
I first visited Sub Rosa last weekend when my bf and I went to Santa Fe. I had a great time exploring the shop and was really excited about seeing many young people stuff in the shop compared to other shops in Santa Fe. Among all items I purchased is a small wallet. I wanted to spend some money for the gifts within a budget so I double checked the price before I purchased. The tag inside the small wallet indicates the price is $20 and another bigger wallet is $40. However, I was charged with $40 for the small wallet. As I really enjoyed the time shopping at the shop, I didnt double check the receipt until I went back to Airbnb. After I found the mistake, I went back the next week and told the owner about the mistake. She refunded me the difference. But somehow I received a very unwelcomed look and I could tell the owner was upset. That really ruined my mood that afternoon as I kept thinking whether the owner thought I put the price tag on it myself by the way she looked at me. She did not apologize too for me being charged twice the amount and needed to come back. I felt bad for coming back to ask for the refund and I also felt I should not feel that way. Anyway, I understand that it is a challenging time for small businesses but I do hope the price tag is always correct at the shop so any customer wouldnt face the same issue. To sum up, it is a good shop and I do recommend everyone to stop by and check their selections.
What an amazing shop, the owner has impeccable taste and has curated things to such a lovely degree. If you’re looking for a place to buy gifts or just something for yourself this is the place. They’ve got everything: gorgeous handmade mugs, delightful cards, impeccably made leather clutches, and all the little things in between. I can’t recommend SubRosa enough
Gorgeous shop with beautifully curated gifts from local artisans. The owner is so sweet and has impeccable taste.
Cute store. Its the only place in town I shop for gifts for others... and myself! Its a treat to have a well-curated store not pandering to tourists. I wish downtown had more boutiques like Sub Rosa.
Just bought the Wiley Baby product, and its great for adults too.
