Super coffee, food, and ambiance.
Love the coffee and atmosphere here. We went on a Friday morning and the place was popping but we were still able to find seats! The environment here was very welcoming and everyone seemed to know each other and be friends. The baristas were all very friendly and they didn’t mind us bringing in our own to-go cups. Definitely recommend this place if you are ever in Santa Fe!!!
Great spot for a good espresso and relaxing - it has a lot of comfy seatings and a chill vibe.
Great pour-over. The young lady at the counter was very helpful and had the type of personality often lacking in coffee shops. Overall pleasant experience. It didnt hurt that she knew me of my favorite Arkansas roasters and coffee houses...Onyx Coffee Labs.
The staff is welcoming, friendly and fast. The coffee and food is delicious. This is a great place to too relax and pickup a good book. The atmosphere is cozy and warm.
Lovely spot in downtown Santa Fe! I’m here on vacation and have come 2 days in a row. The lattes are simple but very well made. The late art is a nice touch. Great space to read or work complete with couches, a fireplace, and tables with built in window seats. Convenient to many places on the plaza and parking out back. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Also doesn’t hurt that it share space with a bookstore, which in my opinion is a winning combo.
My husband and I enjoy good coffee. We have experienced local roasters all over the country. Don’t waste your time on this over priced mediocre coffee shop. The cafe’ latte was bitter, not a good dark roast flavor. The Chia latte was water down tasting.
The coffee was good and the location was super cute. Wish they had more latte flavors. Love that they have the coffee shop inside the bookstore. Theres lovely seating for you to enjoy your company and your beverage.
Amazing coffee and brew staff that knows what theyre doing. The only place in New Mexico I dont have to add sugar to my mocha. Because they actually use GREAT Chocolate. Nice variety of pastries for anyones taste and my personal favorite is the breakfast sandwich.
This business needs to update its hours, went out of my way to go there.
Ive been here a couple times but as with most coffee I prefer to get mochas. They have pretty okay coffee last time I was there it tasted a little burnt. The atmosphere is really laid back which I love. They have good customer service. Some of us in the fire department like to go there too start the day. The locate is a little hidden but thats probably why its one of Santa Fes hidden gems. I recommend going there if you have the time they are open pretty late into the afternoon and its just a nice place to hangout alone or with company.
This place has a very chill vibe. Many people working on laptops and reading. I ordered a chorizo burrito that I presume had been sitting a while since it was the last one there, but it was delicious nonetheless. Cappuccino was beautiful and the staff were friendly! Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere, also the only place Ive actually seen with avocado toast! Yes the mythical millennial avocado toast exists!
Good lattes, but rather pricey for just 10 oz. Comfortable atmosphere. Sweet cashier The barista seemed a little put-out with our large order. Much better than the Starbucks down the street.
My favorite sort of place: a coffee shop inside of a bookstore. Most of these sort of places have mediocre coffee but this one has stellar coffee. I went here three different times during my stay in Santa Fe and had a double espresso, a cappuccino, and a pour-over of a Burundi coffee; all of which were fantastic. I also had a chorizo breakfast burrito one more and it was great too. If I lived in Santa Fe Id be at this place every morning.
Great coffee, excellent customer service & a great vibe about the place...its in my neighborhood & so convenient!
I only visited once on a quick trip thru SF. My kind of place! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the pour over I had was excellent. I liked being next to a great bookstore, too. If I was here longer I definitely would spend time investigating further.
This coffee shop was a real disappointment. The Americano was fine. But the Im-better-than-this-job attitude from the cashier ruined my experience. In a town with so much talent in the service industry, I dont understand why an iconic (get it?) coffee shop would have baristas with attitude (too cool to care). Im over places like this. I prefer decent coffee with great service.
The atmosphere is ok trying to hard to be hip. The coffee is very average. It was watery and bitter. Better places for atmosphere and coffee.
Great little coffee shop in the Collected Works bookstore . Very cool! And a great place for a cookie too...
I asked for a chai latte with an espresso shot while my husband asked for a iced black coffee. Both were undrinkable. I’m not sure if the milk for my latte was forgotten but I truly couldn’t drink it. I’ve had a ton of chai lattes with an espresso shot and I want to believe an ingredient was forgotten and that’s why it was so bad. Or maybe the person making it didn’t know what he was doing. My husband said his iced black coffee was some of the worst he’s ever had. I feel like I just threw money away. Disappointing experience all around.
Great bohemian vibe. Yummy food. Great coffee.
The atmosphere was great. Location was perfect. Baristas and servers extremely friendly, competent and talented. The coffee, however, was below expectations. We asked for a latte and a mocca. I could tell the coffee may have been roasted a little too fast, because there was a high espresso acidity that distracted from an otherwise great drink. Still, if you are not super picky about the coffee and want a very neat atmosphere at a great location, this is your place.
This place is great! Nestled inside a vast bookstore with plenty of treats and fantastic coffee.
I was there for a latte because Starbucks was closed down. My Latte tasted terrible, it looked pretty with a little leaf design on it. Couldnt drink it, it was so bad.
Overall very attractive, pleasant and affordable with a limited but sufficient menu for the occasional visitor. It would be nice if there were more seating near outlets, and/or perhaps which provide for a bit more privacy for reading while enjoying one’s beverage and/or food.
Some of the best muffins that I’ve ever had. The coffee is very tasty as well. The atmosphere is pleasant and is in a bookshop.
Great WiFi, clean restrooms, good vibes. Lots of gluten-free treats and the coffee is good too. A little pricey but the atmosphere is nice enough that its worth it. Baristas are friendly and helpful and the adjacent bookstore is awesome! Highly recommended.
You have to have the chai here. Just the right balance of spice and sweet.
Loved the vibe here. The baristas were so nice and the shop had a great selection, I do wish they had more lgbt and womens studies books though.
Great place to work or to meet up with friends. Lots of different seating options and a few snacks available. Coffee is a bit on the pricey side and the chai lattes are pretty small.
Local coffee and books. Would recommend to anyone. Also has a giant fireplace.
Cool vibes, excellent coffee, free stickers, and it’s attached to a really cool bookstore. This is a great coffee stop if you’re in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Finally downtown gets a good independent coffee shop where you can wile away the day with quality coffee and a light meal. Use the lightning fast wifi or cozy up by the fireplace with a new book from Collected Works, where this is shop is collocated. Staff are friendly and true coffee experts.
Chocolate raisin scone and bulletproof coffee were delicious!
Cool vibe good coffee and yummy bites!
Very classical feel in historic downtown SF. Attached to a book store, and the coffee is roasted to perfection.
Had a great pour over here though the barista tried to talk me out if it.
Fun and tasty coffee shop whenever youre near the plaza. Food options are fairly creative and enjoyable.
I enjoyed my time there. They had live Jazz.
Meh, over priced. Snoty staff and not so friendly customers 👎
Good coffee and a fireplace for maximum coziness in the winter
Good coffee, terrible attitude from the barista. Sorry I interrupted your book reading; I was under the impression you worked there. My apologies.
Beautiful place to sit and soup a coffee
Great spot for coffee. The staff here are so friendly and nice!
Delicious coffees- Awesome customer service and great book store.
Good coffee and ambience, excellent musical selection, and attached to a bookstore ... a pretty good combo!
Nice place. Got a chai tea latte. Seems like they dont know how to make chai tea lattes because it was not good at all.
Maybe best coffee in santa fe
This is a great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and read.
Nice setting, great coffee and food.
Nice place with a book store but not a lot of seating.
Looks like a great place to grab coffee and browse books. No public bathrooms.
Great coffee and service. Cool, laid back, go!
Another great, local coffee shop by UNM
Cute place. Good coffee
Great place to chat and relax
Best coffee in Santa Fe! Hands down
It is within Collected Works bookstore! Enough said...
Classic coffee, and books, coffeehouse music... cozy!
Always good. Always fun.
Books. Coffee. Cool
Fun with great wait staff!
Excellent atmosphere,coffee is splendid
It was ok but the coffee was not what I thought it will pull be.
Very quaint little coffee bar
Great espresso in a hip environment.
Staff were friendly and the interior was cozy
Great atmosphere, service, coffee, bagels
Pretentious. Nothing compares to coffee in Washington state. Dont judge us based on over roasted beans at Starbucks.
Ask for a bubble water chaser with your espresso!
Great local coffee and books
Very good coffee but expensive.
Excellent coffee and service.
Epic java
Nice coffee place.
My favorite coffee shop in Santa Fe.
Cappuccino lukewarm, sour taste and 4$
The waitress was rude to customer.
I tried Gibraltar...I like it.
Good coffee
Favorite coffee shop in Santa Fe. Coffee is outstanding, food options are perfect and the relaxing patio is perfect anytime of year. They have heaters on the patio which slightly warm you but are a nice addition.
