My family and I visited from out-of-town and were so pleased we stopped here! We brought home 3 new plants, some beautiful pots and a few stickers. They have a great variety of plants and trees, their staff is knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention happy. When the staff are happy, they go above and beyond to make a great shopping experience for their customers and this is certainly true here!

What a great nursery! The staff is very welcoming and answered all of my partner’s questions on a houseplant he wanted to get. Quinton, the $13 three feet tall Umbrella tree, is now in our car. They also have a plant clearance section. Inside, they have really cute items that would make great gifts (socks, candles, & books).

We love shopping at the Garden Company! They have a nice selection of plants (both indoor and outdoor), pots, and a wonderfully stocked gift shop with Annie Glass and other local items. The staff is always helpful, knowledgable, and friendly!

Ive been a happy & loyal customer of The Garden Company for years. Great selections, fair prices, expert attentive advice, and the most fun gift shop in town. Now Im especially impressed with their response to the pandemic. They just about tore apart the whole nursery, reconfiguring traffic paths. Their entry & checkout protocol are some of the most thoughtful Ive seen. Way to go keeping your staff and customers safe!

Not only is The Garden Company a great place to shop, but its a great place to work as well! I have worked here for over a year now, and Charlie and Maria have been an absolute pleasure to work for. They took me in at a very pivotal point in my life, and have treated me better in that year than most have throughout my entire life. They run a great little nursery, and employ wonderful people who love what they do, and know what theyre talking about. This place has definitely made a very positive impact on my life, and continues to do so on a daily basis. If you havent been to The Garden Company, you need to come on in and check it out. Theres something for everybody here, and Im not just talking about plants.

We went in to get plants for two large planters to help stage our home for sale. We received excellent help selecting stunning plants with lots of colors. They are standing up to our roughest winter weather in years and they look great. Thank you!

I used to go here weekly when I lived in the area. Wide variety of plants, veggies and indoor gems. Wonderful knowledgeable staff, I’ve had many long talks with a man named Lance. He literally gave me gardening advice for three years while I built my indoor shower garden.

I love the Garden Company. I can always trust them to make the best recommendations. Yesterday I heard Charlie talking on the radio about some new Japanese pruning shears and how wonderful and Sharp they were. I have had my Felco pruners for at least 25 years. I bought the new shears! I went over to the garden center right away and I started using them today for pruning and they are amazing. As they say in the king and I quote I could have (sic) pruned all day!!!

Customer service is outstanding at the garden company. While picking out a few houseplants, an employee stayed with me the whole time to describe the plants. They also are diligent about covid safety.

Had a bad experience at check out on 9-17-20 1:45 pm . The gale in front was extremely rude and short when asking for help she should be working at Home Depot with her customer service skills. We had a better experience with an older gentleman who answered all our questions and also gave us some of his expertise advise. Won’t be back anytime soon as service has been better at our local Ace garden center in Scotts Valley.

Different people have different view until they get sick. Better safe than sorry, I will say this 1000 times. I like stores that put customer safety first. Please keep doing whats right for public safety. Our public health system is under a lot of pressure, please do our part by protecting one another and our heros who have to work and help people. I wont go any nursery which doesnt stress safety, in another word, I wouldnt recommend going stores without safety precautions.

Normally I love this nursery but the whole covid thing was extreme here! Much better at other nurseries.

Everything and almost everyone was really nice, found what I was looking for, then I went to checkout and the older blonde lady checking out customers on 6/21/2020 (kinda tall and skinny) was very rude to my wife. I realize that the checkout procedure was a little unusual due to the covid19 pandemic. But she really didn’t seem to enjoy her job and was bitter to my wife because she didn’t understand the credit card checkout procedures of placing the card on the cloth to be decontaminated. It was our first experience there and due to her attitude we won’t be going back. We will stick with the other nurseries around town. It’s too bad that one rotten attitude can sour the whole experience. Everything else was great but I won’t tolerate rudeness.

Outstanding customer service! So impressed. Second trip there in a year and both times, the quality help, kindness, patience and depth of knowledge were amazing. HIGHLY recommend!

The Garden Company is always such a great experience. The staff are so kind and helpful, without being over bearing at all. They are able to answer the often random questions my mother and I throw at them. If one staff member doesnt know or isnt sure about something, theyre not too proud to admit it, and ask a colleague. This is the perfect place to go for gifts for others, or yourself ;)! The selection of locally made fantastic smelling and feeling lotions, beautiful and unique scarves, cards, jewelry, and fun and interesting knick knacks for kids and adults, makes it hard NOT to walk away with gifts for everyone! The plants and trees always look healthy and well cared for and the artistic garden sculptures are really cool and exciting! They are placed randomly throughout the garden so from a baby elephant to a giant iridescent sphere, surprises are in every turn! This place is very fun, an awesome place for a family outing, or to go spend some time perusing by yourself. Perfect go to garden store if you live on the west, and worth the trip if you dont!

Went there today to check out Geraniums. I received superb customer service. Actually, I havent ever had such knowledgeable and friendly service. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to going back.

Just what a garden store should be. Loads of nice pots, lots and lots of plants, useful accessories, knowledgeable staff, and a wide variety of soil mixtures to choose from. A great place to stop if youre looking for a gift for a friend with a green thumb.

It’s like they are psychic. I just described ( in the vaguest of terms) a flower and they knew exactly what I wanted, plus knowledgeable advice of when to plant for best success. Yeah, I recommend them.

I love this place. They are always friendly and helpful and answer all of my questions. Lance is a walking encyclopedia of gardening knowledge and its always spot on with his recommendations.
