Such a fun place. The cats are well cared for and they are super sweet. The staff is kind and there to help. The place is kept clean and for a place that has 20 cats a time smells really nice. Please give this place a visit you will not regret. Totally worth the entry fee.

Cat Therapy is such a unique and filled with goodness kind of place which you cant help but leave with a smile on your face. This is such a wonderful to help kitties find new good homes. And, it really is truly therapeutic to us humans to spend time playing and petting these little in need critters.

This was a very unique experience. My daughter enjoyed every second of it and was worth the reservation. The environment was calm and relaxing, to just sit there and pet the sleepy cats. They had many cats inside that each had their own personality. The cats are free to roam around. Some were calm while others were playful. If you are looking to adopt and spend time with a cat this would be a great idea to try. The employee there at the time of our reservation was very kind and welcoming. Great place for any age group. Will definitly be returning again.

This place is AMAZING. I recently lost my cat and needed a pick me up. Cat Therapy was like drinking a hot cup of tea wrapped in a blanket during rain but with cats. Some of the cats were so friendly that they crawled into my lap right after meeting them!In addition, the cats are clearly very well taken care of- the facility is super clean, cozy, yet stimulating with lots of places to hide or play. The staff member on duty knew all of their names and preferred petting locations. Ive been to one other cat cafe (granted, this was pre-covid) and the cat to human ratio was way lower than Cat Therapys. Im so glad we have a business like this in SB. If youre in the area and love cats, this. is. the. spot. Definitely coming back soon!

SUCH a great idea. These cats were the happiest cats I have ever seen. I visited all the way from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, but if I come back to Santa Barbara I will DEFINITELY be back!

Love Cat Therapy. Today was my second visit, and I got lucky that the kitties were (mostly) awake and ready to play and receive cuddles. I was happy to hear that a couple cats were adopted just today. I recently said goodbye to my companion cat of 14 years, so it was nice to s3e kittens and be surrounded by their energy.

I scheduled a virtual Cat Café experience for my company. There was a bit of a mix up with the timing (Central vs Pacific) but the owner was quick to resolve and jump to the call right after. This is not your average animal rescue business. The cats roamed freely in an open space designed for them to explore; play, and relax. All the cats were socialized and interacted positively with their other furfriends and the fleshy quests. The place was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

This isnt much of a cafe, if thats what youre expecting. However, it is a fantastic place to meet and hang out with a bunch of wonderful kitties. The first time I went was a regular visit, and they had many lovely adult cats. I adopted one and shes great, and very social - perhaps because of her experience here. More recently I went for yoga, which was fun, and they had a ton of super cute kittens! A great experience.

Cat Therapy has a bunch of cats with a lot of different personalities (curious, relaxed, cautious, playful, adventurous etc). Visit the fur balls if you want to relax and be overwhelmed by cuteness.

I’ve always wanted to go to a cat cafe after hearing about their popularity in other countries. How fortunate that one opened up in Santa Barbara! I like their mission to help shelter cats find homes through adoption. Staff were very nice, and there were a ton of cats. Many were sleeping but some were active. Check out their happy meowed on Thursdays to save a few bucks, but the money is going to a good cause!

Best place if you love cats!

This is the perfect place if you want to adopt a kitty. They rescue the cats from high kill shelters. Although I cant have a cat whenever Im in town I come and play with the loving kitties. Theres something about a purring cat in your lap it helps relieve stress. I wish there was a place like this near where I live. I love cats and would be there every day.

Cats are adorable and fun to pet/play with. The food is ordered at a cafe and brought to you. The food is regular, not extravagant but it is enjoyable. The cats sleep but will still let you pet them. It is $10 per person to play with the animals but it is worth it and youre supporting the cats. They are all rescue animals and need a home. If you come here make sure to be respectful, especially if you have little kids with you.

It was definitely a peaceful place with some very playful and friendly felines.

This place is just wonderful! All the cats are very lovely and when you get there, the lady (I forgot her name unfortunately) explains the collar colors and can tell you each of their names if you ask. They also provide really cute merchandise to buy in the front.

The cats were great!! Fun to play with and just have around. Unfortunately after the lady working there took our money and let us in she was on the phone for the whole hour we were there.

Great experience, but was let down by the experience of trying to adopt. Was left in limbo for more than a month by long-distance staff. The cats are adorable and the mission is great though!

Love the cats. Although, it was strange when it advertised that cats should not be caged but when we got there, the kittens were caged. The reason one of the employees gave us was so they dont get sick. Im probably not understanding it or something but if thats the case, doesnt that mean the adult cats are sick themselves? If they are sick then the kittens shouldnt be in the room at all with them since diseases can be airborne. We had to use sanitizer before touching the kittens and werent allowed to use any of the toys that the adult cats used to play with. Ive never been to a shelter that did it this way. All the cats, adults and kittens, would be running around and playing together. Kittens should be running around. Another note, the cats looked as if theyre drugged or something. But again Im probably not understanding something or whatever. The stars are for the cats themselves not the experience.

Its great that all these people are leaving good comments but, I dont think they are seeing the small details in this big pretty picture. When I arrived to this place I was so happy but, as I went in the vibe that I got here was just very awkward and sad. I wanted to run out so bad. It seemed like everyone who was there including the cats were all drugged out... On the flyer that was provided to the customers stated not caged but why are the kitties being confined in one spot? The answer I received was so the kitties wont get sick from the other cats and that theyll get sick easily. So in that case does it mean that the big cats who are in the same room are sick? If thats true why would you put healthy kitties with possibly sick cats in one room? Sanitizing your hand wont take away your scent from the kitties. Your scent is basicly on your arm, clothes, shoes and yes still on those sanitized hands too. Im for sure letting the kitties roam in a single room wont harm or get them sick. In this case it will help them. Theyre meant to be active and get used to their surroundings. Not be confined in one spot.
