Oh my goodness! I had to drive from Ontario California all the way to Santa Barbara because my brothers van broke and he was stranded out there.We had it towed to West Side Auto because someone told us that was a good place. He needed new tire rods.I cannot give this place enough stars! The person who helped us was Ivan. What a great guy! He was so nice and so helpful. He explained everything that needed to be done in detail to us. And the price for everything was so reasonable. They did not take advantage of us at all.My brothers van had on a spare tire and they even fixed his tire and put it back on the van for him!If you need work done on your car I absolutely recommend this place 110%! 😁

A blessing. I called Westside Auto Repair at 3:30pm, looking for a set of expert eyes to examine a used car Im shopping. By 5pm Ivan had welcomed me in twice, fist bumped his colleague, and begun walking me through their concerns and recommendations. Ivan explained facts about the vehicles mechanical condition generously with patience and without condescension. He put himself in my shoes and offered evidence-backed advice at a reasonable price, leaving me better-equipped to negotiate the sale. To Ivan and company, thank you for your kindness, for your clutchness, and for your refreshing integrity. To anybody scouting mechanics, I dare say Westside Auto Repair is as good a shop as America has to offer.

Pulled into Santa Barbara as an out of towner. Needed to get some brake work done fast. Was calling all over town and nobody would help me out until I was referred to Westside Auto. They were honest with me about what needed to be done, and helped me out the same day.I have a Ford e-250 and am currently living in it so I expressed that I couldn’t leave the van overnight to be worked on, and it wasn’t an issue and had the van done within hours. We had to wait at the shop while the van was being worked on, but that was no big deal, because Ivan and Andrew were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable.They were very transparent about parts and pricing and even showed me my new and old parts to compare. We had a wonderful experience at Westside Auto Repair and would highly recommend anyone in the area to consider doing business with them!!! Thanks again 😊

Look no further. Youve found a top quality auto repair shop. Not only did he fix what caused my van to break down, but he fixed two problems that had been bothering my van for a long time. No one else fixed them in the past. No one else bothered. Now my van runs better than ever. Ivan really does a thorough job, and I cant praise him enough. Honesty and integrity and excellence!
