Best ever! Herb saved me from ruining my engine by spotting me (out of town) using gas instead of diesel!He helped me get a tow, and fixed the car promptly the next day. So grateful, and happy to now have an excellent, reliable shop upon which to depend.

We took a car that we were selling for a friend to Cory Motors because this is where she always had it serviced. We wanted it checked out for the buyer. Based on this service or lack of service, I cannot recommend Cory Motors to anyone. Their performance was not good enough for us to stop using our regular mechanics.The car was left in the parking lot all day with the key in it...the ignition and interior lights left on draining the small, old battery. I came by after hours and the battery was dead. And it was parked in a way that prevented me from getting to it with my booster cables. Saturday morning I had to call a tow truck for an emergency start.So I related this to A.J. and his attitude was...well stuff happens..No inquiry as to how much the roadside assistance cost ($84), how much I was inconvenienced (2 hours of my time), no apology and certainly no offer to make it all good.But hes right...stuff does happen. Whats happening right now is Im writing this review. There are many good auto service people in Santa Barbara...who care about their customer relations. Take your car to one of those and forget Cory Motors.

I love my VW Westfalia and these guys help me love it even more. They are honest and fair and know what theyre doing. In my experience with them they have also remained totally committed to my satisfaction in dealing with certain issues. I recommended them to more than one friend with fans like mine and theyve had only positive things to say.

We brought our VW Vangon to Cory motors to check everything before we are heading down to Mexico. AJ and his team did a great job. They figured out some problems with our Van and were able to repair it in a few hours. Very fair and they have a big knowledge about Volkswagen. Thank you very much for your help and the good work!

The BEST auto repair in the world. 23 years a customer. My Type II, My 95 Cabrio, my 2002 330 Ci BMW all run flawlessly because of these guys. Caught a problem, early on(26,000mis.) in the BMW that saved me from have to replace the transmission. Cost me $126.00 instead of $7200.00 at BMW.Skilled beyond words, Friendly and fun people to boot. Always a day early and a dollar under budget with no comebacks, well maybe one every 2 years but thats better by far than any one else I have ever been to.I read one horrendously negative report about them on this page. I can say that neither Mike or A.J. have manners such as this. The saying; The world is a looking glass unto yourself comes to mind here. It would take one very obnoxious and abrasive person to be told by these fine and well bred men that they were a waste of time. If that is what they said, then they most certainly were, but I am sure there is more to the story than is told here to serve their vindictive purpose.Take your Car here and you and it will be happy with the results.

Competent mechanics doing honest work at a fair price.

Owners drove my car all weekend putting over a thousand miles on it for a joy ride to the Grand Canyon (someone saw my van there). Beware of overcharging of labor and part charges.

I took my 84 west to them. They did a great job and were very friendly.
