Other than the hours it took to get new tires they did a good job and gave me a fair price. Manny was very apologetic for the wait and continued to check on me while I waited.I would recommend them just not the day I went when it was chaotic. Get an early appointment so you don’t get stuck waiting for hours.

Blake (who is perhaps the manager) was incredibly friendly and attentive and helpful on today’s visit for an oil change. The store is always busy so it must be difficult to juggle all the responsibilities and take care of the customers, but they rock! Wife and I always keep coming back!

Made a appointment thru car advise for 11 am usually I get my oil change in 30 to 45 minutes when I scheduled an appointment thru car advise at Firestone. I saw that this place had just joined car advise and was ten dollars cheaper so I figured Id give it a go. Got a quote for an hour. Showed up ten minutes early and asked how long said twenty minutes. 15 minutes later my car goes up on the hoist. Im sure they will barely let it drain and fill it up and send me on my way. Ten dollars saved for an extra hour if my time. Definitely not worth it. Save your self the time and go to Firestone.

I got good service from Blake but they can get better at their work: they need to wear gloves before entering vehicles. My car was returned to me with oil spots in the seats and places they touched. Also, the balance on my car was off after they installed a set of new tires, they offered to do it again but it still off. Ill have to bring it to another place to get it done right.

They were super kind and knowledgeable here. I brought it in for an alignment check because there was a rattle in my car and they let me know it was likely that the tires needed to be balanced and let me know I likely didn’t need an alignment rather than just doing one anyways just to charge me. I made an appointment online and the work was done super quickly too. Definitely going to be going back there for any tire work from now on. :)

Worst service ever, if you have a flat keep driving you will be better off at some other place. It took them one hour to see my tire, about 30 minute to look for a replacement and about 45 minutes to tell me they could not do it. Had to call for roadside service, they serviced me next door in the parking lot I spent more money but was off in 20 minutes; While I was in the office I saw they mistreated customers as well, that should have been a big clue, but as naive as I am I thought they would treat me better, If i ever get a flat around that area I should know better.

Literally the worst place to go, they have no good communication skills one of the managers tried to up sell me on a tire. My car was there for 6 hours, I went over because they haven’t called me and they told me my car been done for 3 hours

After I made an appointment at Costco to get my tiers changed and they said they had my tires all set. I got a phone call 2 hour before my appointment that they sold thru the tires I ordered. I couldn’t believe it! Is was 4 in the afternoon and I had a long drive the next day..I called American Tire Depot. Got a quote and had my tires in stock at a great price! I drove straight there from Costco. The guys were super nice and everything was done within an hour! A Plus to the guys at Santa Barbara American Tire Depot! Thank you!

These guys are amazing! 2Xs now on 2 separate vehicles I’ve gotten large nails stuck in my tires and these guys came to my rescue. Both times I showed up desperate for help and in a hurry because of work. Not only were they able to help me same day but the repairs plugs were complimentary! They were a little short staffed but were able to fit me to replace a tire with a nail in it later that same day. Super fast and easy, but call and make an appointment ahead of time if youre in a rush just in case.

Price is definitely the best in town. After going around for how much other spots charge for a brake change and rotor replacements. Definitely recommended.

Great customer service!! I highly recommend making an appointment and coming in 15 mins prior to fill out any paperwork, etc. This was the first time I got car maintenance since I moved to SB and they made sure I was taken care of, kept me updated on my vehicle, and walked me back to my car. They are very professional and genuinely want to help you. Definitely will be coming back for any maintenance.

Bought all new tires last fall and opted for protection coverage ie free flat repairs etc. I just had a new tire put on after picking up a screw near sidewall so it was not fixable. Not only did they cover the cost of tire, but I was in and out in under 30’min. Blake was great and I am very happy with the services provided. They will get my business for life, customer service is hard to find and that’s the only reason I come back.

I called first because I knew exactly the set of tires that I wanted. They had exactly what I needed. I was in and out with an alignment and four tires in 1 and 1/2 hours. The pricing was really great and the service was exceptional. Its been recently remodeled and looks good.

I made an appointment in advance of 5 days, I arrived and after half an hour they attended me and they told me that I had to wait for the other missing tires to arrive later they told me that my car would be ready in an hour, I returned the next hour and my The car was ready until two hours later, on my second visit for a tire damage they attended to other consumers before me, the only difference that the other consumers were women so my suggestion is that they send their wives they will be attended to immediately and most likely there will be no delay !!

I always have the best experiences here! I’m always in and out even if I don’t have an appointment prior. I most recently came in with a slashed tire from driving over glass and it got replaced right away! As a women, going to this auto shop makes me feel comfortable, and I never feel pressured or like I’m getting scammed. Overall, their staff here is great, especially Robert who frequently has assisted me!

So many reasons NOT to go here!!1. Masks not being worn in cars or office when mandatory.2. Took 3.5 hours for an oil change.3. Couldnt do a tire rotation because they didnt have the lug nut lock.4. Donuts sitting out on counter. No clue how covid is transmitted.Stay far away from these guys!

They replaced all four tires on my car the same day, and even completed the alignment. We have had a nail in our tire for several months. Created a slow leak and I had to refill the tire every couple weeks. Finally took it in. American Tire Depot fixed it for free. Friendly and efficient. Plan on replacing my tires with them later this month.

I’ve started using American Tire depot for maintenance services after last tire service. It is a friendly atmosphere and staff tries to put extra effort in pleasing customers.My last service was replacing leaky gasket and oil change along with tuning.I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to be surprised with repair costs and looking for a helpful repair shop.There is a caveat. Don’t expect a timely callback unfortunately. You need to check yourself. Still a good shop though.

Friendly staff.I scheduled an appointment (online) the night before to have new tires put on because I was on a road trip and ended up with a flat tire in Santa Barbara. Luckily I was able to get in the next morning.I did have an appointment but they were a little late in getting my tires started but I was just thankful to have it done.They did a good job.

American Tire Depot was incredible! I needed new tires, new shocks on the suspension in the back, alignment, brake check and every other place I called in Santa Barbara quoted me around $1400 or higher. This shop did it all for me around half the price! The guy I talked to, Jake, was amazing! He made my issue his priority. The other shops I talked to said my car would be done in around 1-2 days because they had to order the parts. But Jake at American Tire Depot ordered my parts around 10am and had me drop my car off soon after. My car was finished by 3pm that same day! My car feels brand new now! I highly recommend this mechanic to anyone that doesn’t like getting charged for extra stuff that isn’t needed and wants to get good quality service!

I was shocked by this establishment!!!! The man that helped me (didnt get his name went in 11/06/2020 12pm) was so professional and well mannered. I had a nail in my tire and they fixed it in less than 15min and charged me NOTHING. Thats right nothing. I was shocked and am so appreciative! In times like these little things like that mean a lot. Incredible customer service I will be back!

This visit to had a few flaws.. I had ordered 5 tires & wheels and was ready to get them installed. I got to the shop at 11am, dropped off the keys and was told itd be done in a couple hours. So I went to lunch and came back, only to find the vehicle parked in the same place where I left it. The stack of wheel boxes had also not moved. At around 4pm work finally commenced... When they were finished around 545, they told me that each wheel only had 5/6 lug nuts, and that they ordered the others to be installed the next day.When I came back to get the remaining lugs installed, the guy put the lug into his impact and pushed it into the wheel and pulled the trigger.. so NOT starting the threads by hand. I asked him to please do that so they couldnt get stripped and he walked away with some attitude. Another guy came out and finished installed (starting by hand) then left... without torquing the lugs. I asked him about it and he kind of grunted then came back with a torque wrench...This makes me think that all of the lugs werent torqued properly to begin with.At least the guys in the office were friendly, otherwise this review would have had one star.

As a woman I am always a bit apprehensive walking into a service shop. From the beginning they greeted me with great customer service and their mechanics are skillful and did an amazing job on my vehicle.

Jake and the team at American were friendly, courteous and efficient. All with a competitive price. Would definitely recommend and visit them again.

Lowest priced oil change for my BMW in town as promised! $70 out the door, compared to $180 at other places. Employees were very prompt and kind. Only minor issue was the estimated time given was 45 minutes, it took an hour and a half. Will be returning for other services

Excellent and efficient job at an excellent price..UNFORTUNATELY I had to be in the ofice where there is total disregard for COVID 19 issues.. person behind the counter had a face mask with his nose exposed, workers going in and out with no face masks, no social distancing, no hand sanitizer after using pen that was obviously used by everyone else that day. ONE (only one) employee had a black face mask that he kept on properly at all times THE REGIONAL MANAGER CALLEED AND WAS HORRIFIED THIS HAPPENED.PROMISED to correct so increased star from 2 to 4

I had a flat tire and by the time my car got towed to American Tire Depot, it was 6:03pm and the shop was supposed to be closed at 6. I was met by Steve and I thought he was going to turn me away. Instead he smiled and told me that he would take care of my car as long as they had the right size tire in stock, and they did. Both the manager Alex and Steve stayed back to help me replace my tire. Thank you both for your help and great customer service!

I was referred to this tire shop by a friend and called to see if they had a certain size tire in stock, they told me they carried it and could put it on as soon as I brought it in. I drove all the way across town during my lunch break and dropped off the tire, assured by the mechanic it would be repaired and ready to go by the end of the day. As soon as I clocked back in after lunch they called me saying that they didn’t carry the tire and therefore couldn’t fix it today. So I had to leave work and go back to pick it up. Thanks for wasting my time and having me miss work! Not going to recommend this place to anyone and I’m taking my business elsewhere and you should do the same. Thanks for nothing! 👎

Came out to $29.31.Im not a lawyer but I think CA bait and switch law is that EVEN if you dont have what you advertised you still need to offer something for better or equal value at a equal or better price.Im not saying theyre trying to scam people but if they do this to you, maybe they are. I would recommend calling before you go.Then he said it would take an hour. Well, on our walk to the nearest coffee shop; 15 minute walk we noticed 10 minute oil change at Fast Lane.
