We are from Louisiana and had an emergency and needed to get our transmission looked at in a hurry. No one else could see us. Adam told us to bring it over, and they would get it looked at today. They checked it out reset the check engine light and made sure everything was good. Everyone was great and they saved my butt while out here on vacation. Thank You

Adam and Rudy are fast & efficient and very easy to work with. Diagnosed repairs for my truck were emailed over right away; approved work was completed on time and as discussed.

Would not ever recommend this company. Our daughter goes to UCSB and needed an oil sensor replaced. Took it to Ammco who said they needed to order the new part and two days after she gets the car back she awoke to all the oil drained into the driveway and when we took it to the dealership, found they had placed a 6 year old part in the vehicle and over torqued the oil pan causing it to warp and not seal. Manager stopped returning phone calls and not helpful at all. Buyer beware

Nice guys and honest auto repair at a fair price

Im the kind of person auto shops usually rip off- I clearly know nothing about cars and am pretty helpless when it comes to anything related to mechanics or even basic car maintenance.I had a bad experience at one shop, so decided to get a second opinion here.I went to AAMCO and they explained exactly why my car was reading certain codes, did the work needed so I could pass my smog test, and basically took care of everything. They went way above and beyond what they needed to do and only charged me a very fair price. I will definitely come back here next time Im having car issues.

Thugs and Rip off merchants. Went in for an oil change, they tried to do a bunch of other stuff and drove my vehicle off the property. EMPLOYEES made threats off violence when i asked why someone driving my vehicle.
