This store has great deserts and cakes. They have hot food here too. Theres employees that spend a little too much time focusing on disability animals and handicap people then keeping the cashiers going and the lines flowing easier. There very busy but could keep the place cleaner. I seen employees not doing anything and produce on the ground. But it was a well organized store.

Everything is clean, and in a considerable order. Some of the cashiers are nice and helpful, another not so much. The public is the one that need to be polished.

Bought some meat today and when I was cooking it I noticed that the meat was spoiled. It smell and tasted really bad, I will never buy groceries here, the same thing happened from the North gate located on Main St.DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM THESE STORES!!!

This place is great they are clean and friendly and well stocked and they are competitive whit they prices.They are allways helpful and they let you use the restrooms if you need to.i love this place and they are some of the best cake makers at any chain grocery store that ive ever had!

Im not sure if this is the right Gonzales. I went there4th/Sycamore. Everything wonderful as usual,until I hit the clerks register. This woman is wearing the same gloves to both handle money and food! This is totally unacceptable. She is thinking about herself only not customers. This isnt the right way to handle food. I assume is management but then again I noticed other clerks not wearing gloves. YOUR STAFF IS TRANSMITTING 👉All kind of viruses thru this inadequate ringing off customers groceries.They need to be retrained. I wasnt the only one complaining regarding this issue. Wed go once again hoping this matter has bern fixed. Thank you

Im a customer of these store I spend a lot of money there ..I try getting getting money from my card and they told me I had to spend 10 dlrs for every hundred I need it ..that really got me mad because Ive got money before without buying that much money I dont understand if every manager manage the store difrently or if they put there own rules ...I wish I had a different store to go do business ..I do Ill start going more to food for less ..and less to norgate there are really good cashiers but to the managers not really .I dont know how they got that tittle ..they dont know how to be a good leader....

Its alright. There isnt much of a variety of things in the store.

I love this market! You walk in the door and you are greated with the smell of fresh tortillas, fruits and veggies..... It is a party for your senses! (completely opposite of American stores!) The staff helpful and things are easy to find.....

A small primarily Mexican grocery store. They had some really good deals on several things. Its a little small compared to big chain grocery stores so obviously not as big of a selection on things. But still pretty good. The meat department looked pretty good, nice variety.

Its got a lot of TRADITIONAL groceries.

Extremely busy store. Had to go around the parking lot three times to find a place to park. It was well worth the hassle. Prices in the store are excellent based on other stores around the same area. They keep the parking lot clear of shopping carts. Store floors seem orderly and clean. Shelves are stocked with almost all items that should be there. There is always someone there to help you if you have questions.You can also get cake, tamales, tacos and other treats while going to and from your car. Great store. Love all Northgate Markets. Just avoid on a Friday afternoon/evening. A lot of people cashing their checks in the regular check out stands. So it takes a VERY long time to check out!

Store is small but fully stocked..i had a bag from another store and they wouldnt let me bring it in. I was kinda embarrassing that they they did that.

Interesting variety of ethnic foods but also has solid basics. Prices are great and lots of homemade and local food.

I hate going to this northgate theres never parking and its cramped in there even the cash registers are to close to each other.

The meat department sucks there are a lot of people behind the counter and can’t get rid of their customers fast waited for 15 minutes just for half a pound of shrimp is not the first time that happens to me but oh well my fault for coming back the first time the customer before me told the employee that he was there for a long time and the employee responded that he is been there longer ... they have a lot employees on the meat department with not a clue what customer service means.

When ever I Need tacos,I go to Northgate to get my taquisa meat and all my vegetablesGreat prices.

Last time I was looking for something and a very helpful young men named Marco M. Helped me find out the thing I was looking for.

Good range of products, sells beer/spirits/liquor/wine. Very small though compared to store nearby! If you want spirits/liquor like tequila or vodka, you will need to ask the cashier since they are behind glass at the front.Compared to the local competitor, Food4Less, it is a bit smaller and can get crowded on holidays such as the day before Christmas and Thanksgiving. The checkout lines may get long at times. It does sell more fresh prepared food than Food4Less like salsas, guacamole, and ready to eat foods and drinks. Tamales, agua fresca, and other foods like rice/beans and rotisserie chicken are popular foods here. For Christmas and Thanksgiving, turkeys and hams are sold cooked/uncooked.

This is ridiculous with the current situation. The people that work there are like sheep that follow the rest of the herd.

My first, and probably only, visit as I am in the area for a short time. This market is a very simple stall based food court of mini restaurants. It has an incubator for new entrepreneurs feel about it and i saw lots of potential on several menues. My choice was instantly on the first stalls menu but confirmed by checking oht the rest of our 15 plus completely seperate full menu options. I chose a grilled shrimp sandwich combined with a Grilled Cheese & Bacon. A little mystery tangyness, creamy cheesy, bacon & and shrimp in a perfectly grilled sandwich. The BEST new sandwich Ive had in at least 10 years. Great experience.

I liked the quality of the masa, but the store is too compact. If they expanded the store then it would be easier to shop, move around, and take time to actually look at each product and n9r feel rushed.

Needs to be busted and more cashier there is 10 minimum of items and most of us is more items grocery please use common sense open more cashiers.
