The staff here is so friendly and they know what they are doing. This was my first time using them and I really felt like my car was in good hands. The service manager John, is just amazing! I also used their shuttle service so they picked me up from my house when my car was done, which was so helpful.

The auto service guys are 100% on everything to do with cars and customer service. They assisted me promptly, serviced my car and let me know before, during and after its repair. When I say “on point”, here, I mean it.

The Auto Service will always strive to take care of you, win your business, and ensure you leave with a well repaired vehicle at a competitive price. Additionally, their shop is comfortable with a wifi couch AC seating area and for longer jobs, if you are nearby, they will happily transport you home. 10/10 cant ask for a better repair shop as you can trust they will treat you right and work with you through any problems.

These guys have been servicing my 06 Volvo XC70 ever since I bought it used 4 years ago. Ive never had any worries or complaints about their work. Steve and John do a great job letting you know what things on your car can wait and what should be done sooner than later. Ive never been pressured or talked into some kind of service or repair that I didnt think I need.Every time I bring in my car for an oil change they check it all around for other usual wear-and-tear and they let me know how everything looks. I have been going to the Auto Service (formerly Swedish Asian) ever since I got my first car at 16! I seriously do not trust anyone else with my car other than these guys. Johns has been taking care of my family and I for over 15 years. I continue to go to him because he doesnt try to get you to do a bunch of unnecessary BS to your car just to jack up the price. I know my car is always in good hands with him. It is hard to find people you trust and John is always someone I can continuously count on for good service without the dealership price tag.

Steve ( the owner and GM) was great, honest and reliable. I’ve been going to TAC way before when it used to be The Swedish Asian Auto after my XC90 turned 10. Volvo dealer prices were getting expensive and decided to look for a Volvo expert shop. Found them and with Steve’s extensive Volvo background thru his late dad’s Volvo expertise and tutelage I stayed with them.Btw, I had to wait for my car and Steve got his 2 guys and worked on my car immediately as it’ll take 3 hours to fix my front lower ball joint and the sway bar link on both sides. I wish I had found TAS earlier. John was completely professional and honest in detailing the issues with my vehicle and the repairs were prioritized and completed in a timely fashion. I will now go nowhere else.

I never leave a review, but this place is special. They quoted me $950 (a very fair price for the job) and 3.5 hours, and got me out of there under $700 by not doing service that I requested but didnt need and passing along a discount they got on my new brake rotors, in a little over an hour. In the meantime they took me around the shop, introduced me to everyone, and showed me the maintenance they were doing on my wheel assembly. Im literally never going to another shop.

Have a 1989 mazda pick up truck. Extremely low Miles makes this truck perfect for Around town errands or early get togethers with friends.They went through the whole vehicle and found some degrading mechanical issues. Getting all of the stuff to replace me into another truck wasnt cost effective at all.John the service manager is the best in the Field. He not only new the in and outs of my thirty year old truck. It was nice to hear he knew my truck.Ive had to fix a few things in the truck since. Each and every Time I stop by, I am greeted warmly by what seems like the entire crew. I am listened to complety and answer all my questions and concerns. They make you understand what maintenance is due to be done, What has fallen off of your radar. They even told me What I was going to get fixed and in what order.They are real Auto Doctors that can and Will help you the whole way. Jim

I arrived at TAS panicked because my cars check engine light had come on, I had just gotten a tow, and it was after hours. Luckily Steve was still there and was willing to take my information and my car in even with it being late in the day. The next day, I had a call from the team by lunch and my car was ready to pick up within a few hours.Amazing customer service, amazing support. Horrible! I had to come back here two times to resolve a problem that was already supposed to be fixed. This is a scam and they will pretend to fix your car but will use faulty parts or not use any new parts at all. If you want to waste your money at a fraudulent place then this is the place to go!

I have never before rated any provider of any service with a perfect 5 star rating. After 30 years of maintaining my vehicles, they truly deserve this rating. Excellent quality and honesty are in their DNA. I could easily use dealers or private shops within 10 minutes of my home, but willingly travel an hour to their shop. In business, integrity is everything.

I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. Steve and his team are awesome. They carefully explain whats the problem and how theyre going to fix it in terms that are easy to understand. TAS is my mechanic for anything vehicle related. They can solve any problem, their prices are beyond fair, they are honest, and I’ve never had a problem with their work. I value them immensely.

Friendly, great service. They discovered why the car was completely dead. Animals had been living in the engine, fur all over, they ate the wires, drank fluids, which broke my heart to think of the animal suffering. The Auto service was able to clean out everything under the hood, repair the wiring, change the oil, fix the windshield wiper motor. All that and a bag of popcorn. Love these guys, John and Steve are great.

Came here to repair 2 purge valves that popped up when quick diagnosing my truck. I wasn’t exactly sure what these pieces of the car affected or how they would be fixed. John gave me the full break down and was very friendly explaining to me the problems I had to fix. The labor is a little pricey but worth it. They’ll make sure that everything is how it’s supposed to be. They even went above and beyond and did a check up on my truck a week later to make sure everything was clear. A huge part of their service that I appreciated was that they were very happy to answer all the questions I threw at them with patience. Definitely will be coming back if I need anything on my car fixed or checked out.

Excellent service. Quick response time, and very upfront with costs. My diagnostics came back as something that is under recall from the manufacturer so they even printed out the bulletin for me to take to the dealer to make sure it was covered under warranty. Over and above what was expected.

Its always great to have a reliable auto service run by people who are competent AND trustworthy. These guys dont push unneeded services on you and explain everything as much as you want to know. The focus is on safety and getting you around as needed. They currently have pick up and drop off of your car from your home and that makes things so much easier especially since we are not going out now because if social distancing.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience the last time I was here (like reportable to the bureau of automotive repair bad). I say this with a heavy heart because it used to be the ONLY place I would bring my car, & the reason I would only get Toyota or Honda. I’m not gonna go into specifix, but I say judge em for yourself.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to bring my vehicles for maintenance and repairs. Had my rear brakes and rotors replaced last Friday. Fast and efficient. I should add that I have been coming since January of 1982.

An utterly spectacular auto shop. All the tools and equipment do do the right jobs properly and at a fair price. But, what sets this shop appart so clearly is the people. They provide a work space if you need to work on your laptop while you wait. Its the best auto repair service in the area. I was referred to them by AAA.

Everyone was very helpful, informative, and professional. I got to the shop early and was taken care of. They gave me a ride to my job which was just 8 minutes away. I thought my car needed some major work done but instead John told me later in the day that it was just a few things. It needed an oil change, tire pressure fix and fill the fluids. The job was finished early in the day. They picked me up from my job at 3PM, my car was ready to go. I will continue to take my Honda 2015 Fit back to the shop for all the its maintenance.

My family and I have been exclusively isolating since the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic due to being high risk, with the exception of going for car rides. When my service light came on, we knew we didn’t want to wait and risk a breakdown, but couldn’t take it to the shop and remain isolated. The auto service drove to our home, picked up the car, inspected the vehicle, called before doing any work on it to get approval, returned the car, sanitized it, and left the keys at the front door. They went above and beyond to make sure we stayed safe. I will forever be a customer and can’t thank them enough for doing this for us. It’s people and companies like them that give me hope in this crazy world. Thank you!!!!

My car broke down near the repair shop, triple a recommended it and I got my car towed there. Upon entering I was immediately attended and was told that I would Be one hour before they could take a look at my car and it would be 150 dollars for the inspection.John Pizanie called a driver so I could be taken home. About one hour later I got a call from him and was told that unfortunately my cars engine was dead and they couldnt repair it.He told me to go to the repair shop and pick up my car and there would be no charge.

I took my car in for a AAA free 40 pt check. The shop was very clean and well organized with a full lounge for waiting. When the inspection was complete Steve let me know that my car was in good shape and all I needed were new tires (which I knew). He was very professional and respectful with no attempt to sell any services. I wanted to wait a few days before writing a review, just to see how my car feels. The overall experience was great, everybody was nice and they were able to get my car back to normal within a few hours. They are a bit pricey however the work they do makes up for it! Ive used these guys since I moved to California in the 90s when I was a student with a beat-up used Corolla. After I got to know him and trust him, I used to tell John before a long road trip, Pretend Im your daughter, look over my car, and make sure its good to go without worrying that he was going to make up fake repairs to charge me for.John gave me advice about car buying which I took, even though it meant I wound up with free routine maintenance from the dealer for years. By the time that deal ended, Id lost track of TAS (formerly Swedish Asian Auto Service). Googling John and Steve great mechanics didnt work. Finally, my 14-year Prius needed real maintenance, so in desperation I sat down with Google maps to try and remember where they were. So I found them again- thank GOODNESS.Ive been back at TAS for two years now, theyve replaced the 15 year old battery on my Prius now that its worn out, and at this rate Ill have this car until it qualifies for vintage plates.Last week, with a sense of déjà vu, I went to John to say, Im making the first long road trip/camping trip in over 20 years, so I can visit my parents without worrying about giving them coronavirus by staying in a hotel or flying on a plane. Look over my car and make sure Im safe for the journey. He fixed the timing cap leak weve been putting off repairing for a few years, and a few other things too, and I *know* he was being generous on labor costs. Im not a kid anymore, but I feel perfectly safe driving off across the desert in a 16 year old Prius, which Im not sure I would otherwise.TL;DR: These guys are honest and dependable. Ive mostly mentioned John, because hes the guy who usually takes care of me, but everybody who works there is great. Im writing this review as an unsolicited thank you, but really, this is a long overdue review for the business I have depended on the longest… I was going to say since I moved to California, but come to think of it, Ive depended on them longer than any business, ever. I recently brought my Sonata in after the engine shut off on the 55 freeway, John stayed 15 minutes past closing to wait for me to bring my car into their shop. Right off the bat I could tell these were good people. Unfortunately, I needed a whole new engine. He found me an engine next day and had the new one installed an my car running in less than 2 days. I have spoken with many coworkers and friends, and they all were shocked at how fast the work was completed. I will definitely be taking my car there for future services and oil changes. Started bringing my car here when it was still the Swedish Asian Auto Service and it is still the same trustworthy and awesome people running it. John was extremely helpful and upfront about what needed to be done and what didn’t. Was having some issues with AC, that we were thinking was electrical, turned about to be a much simpler fix and much much less expensive than what was previously quoted. Really appreciated the honesty from John and mechanics because I was ready to pay the higher quote and probably wouldn’t have know the difference. Long story short when I leave my car with them I’m comfortable it will be handled as one of their own. Wouldn’t want to take my Volvo anywhere else. Thanks again to John and the guys!
