I have to thank some of are customers for givi g us good reviews the bad reviews saying the place is dirty or cluttered we must of caught them stealing or doing something else wrong but i do try my hardest and everyone i work with try are best to keep things clean and keep everything stocked and we make sure people dont hang out front bothering customers so i have to say to are customers thank you for shopping and thank you for appreciating are hard work hope to see u again

I like the Family Dollar theres not many left here in Maine so when I moved to Sanford I was excited that theres a store right here in town and its quite big

Quite sizable location. Had a lot of different products but the drink coolers in the front of the store dont seem to work well as all the drinks were warm

Great spot for cheat items depending on what you may need. Good prices on day to day things (soap, dish soap, shampoo, toilet paper, ect.).

They always have exactly what my wife and I are looking for and the staff are always very friendly 😊☺️

Would not accept cash as a sale. Made some excuse they just opened the register.

They usually have plenty of inventory on most days.. friendly staff.. and they do accept credit card debit cards and EBT cards..

Barbara is the only one i know that works there . Shes alwayz a big help on most any questions i might have, Very Curtious to me for years . but u need to start selling mirrors AND Picture Frames . Thank you all

Exactly what you would expect. However latest trip there were 2 employees smoking right on front of the entrance. Had to walk thru a cloud of butt smoke to get in

The Customer service people are excellent. I am disabled and in an electirc wheel chair, every time I come in they smile and when I go thru the register line they put my bags inside a carrier bag I have on the back of my chair, very helpful

Very affordable for those on a small budget. I just love this place it have everything from clothes, food, house hold items, pet supplies and much much more.... I strongly recommend this store to each and everyone. 😊

Family dollar is such a great place to shop for all your housing needs. It offers such low prices for all living on such small budgets. The staff there is very friendly and always will to help you out.

Recently reorganized and better than before. Has a $1 section similar to the Dollar Trees essential buys (cleaning products, household supplies, etc) and will save at least this one person from needing to walk to the other end of town for the Dollar Tree. Also now has a wider variety of foodstuffs and clothing, could affordably suffice as a grocery store trip if only they started selling produce and meat too! Definetly a dollar saver instead of a pricier convince trip now. Honestly? Im impressed by the renovation, thank you

Was in there today and the attitudes were awful! Asking questions and I got eye rolls from cashier and possible manager got asked a question bt someone and barked at customer to go to reg 1 Im closed Not impressed

Excellent customer service. All clerks there always acknowledge vustomers enterin with a smile and helllo. As well as cidtomer leaving the clerks greet us agyer our purchase and aksk us to come bck..

Cashiers are slow. 4 employees but only 1 cashier with a line of 10 + costomers while 3 employees stood around talking.

The cashiers are always nice to you. And questions are answered and things are easy to find.

I wish I could give it a quarter star the hours are wrong the staff is rude and the store is cluttered
