Aside from the fact that Best Buy is Best Buy, they are a Certified Apple Repair shop and regardless of your decision to male an appointment or not, expect long wait times. Not exactly comfortable for those who are handicap and need somewhere to sit and wait while feeling relaxed.Consider a waiting area that is not only handicap accessible, but contains a rest room closer to the Geek Squad & Repairs area.

Purchasing that 32-in INSIGNIA monitor/TV found it quick simple and easy to use and it was cheaper than Walmarts similar size brand....Later that same month...Update, now that weve had it for a few weeks were really pleased with purchase it took a little bit to work out the kinks and brightness and color to where we felt comfortable with it. One set of adjustments was done using our PC and our graphics card and the other adjustments were from the monitor itself for television broadcast pictures.So after a while it was really easy to adjust.

Went in for what should have been a simple phone upgrade. Wound up taking 3 employees almost 3 hours to make the switch, and it appeared to me that they succeeded only through trial & error, not because of their training/competence.The weirdest part of the experience were my interactions with Chris, who was supposedly a supervisor (and did appear to be the most knowledgeable about phones). I was there to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S20 to the iPhone 13, and I was actually kind of excited about it, but that excitement was somewhat dampened, as Chris spent pretty much the entire time trash talking iPhones, and told me about a half dozen times that I will wind up returning the iPhone and going back to Samsung. He honestly had me sort of second-guessing my choice, which seems like an odd move for someone whose job it is, basically, to sell phones.Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because at least the 3 dudes were friendly, and attempted to be helpful, even if they mostly werent.

Their training of their employees is very outdated, using strategies that do not conform well with todays younger generation and crowd. You hire young people for a reason, let them mould themselves to a sales person that can relate with the young crowd and stop changing them to the past.

Yesterday me and my husband went in for our pick up order of an iPad. We called the day before to make sure everything went through and we were good to pick it up the following day. So when we arrived they were having issues with our pick up order (still not clear on what the issue was). They asked if we had changed the name on the order or changed it to a family or friend pick up . Which we did not. The gentleman that was helping us called over a man named bill. Who told us to cancel the pick up order and just buy it in store. I told him specifically I had one question about doing that. Which was, if we canceled the order for our pick up, when would our money be refunded. For we already payed 650 for our pick up order. He was very adamant we would get refunded immediately! So they went to go get the iPad to ring us up. And we canceled the order, after doing so it said we would be refunded in 7-10 business days. I asked to speak to Bill again. Because he told us we would be refunded right away. He came over and said “you will get the money sooner than 7-10 business days”. And I said “but that is not what you said, and that was my only concern with canceling the order” . He then proceeded to tell me in a very arrogant way how credit card holds work (as if I should know) . I explained I do not know those things cause I don’t work retail or with money what so ever. And he assured me the money would be refunded immediately. As I was explaining that, he interrupted me to say “let me know when I can talk” (I was not interrupting him) . He proceed to tell me about holds on cards, missing the point of the fact he told me it would be right away . He was very rude and as someone who is spending 100s of dollars there, I was not happy . Let alone I had my young son with me, while he talked to me using an aggressive tone. Because of Bill we will never return to this location again . I wish I had the other gentleman’s name who was helping us at first cause he did provide amazing customer service. But the way I was talked to by Bill was unacceptable.

The people in the store were great but when it came to delivery they rescheduled it on me twice. I sat around and waited all day long for them to deliver the tv. called them after they didnt show up for 2 hours after the appointment time and they tell me that theyre not going to be delivering it today and then I have to wait another week very unacceptable very unprofessional. Id rather order from Amazon and get it the next day. They never called me to let me know that it wasnt going to be delivered

I have bought a few things from the Sanford location and always had good experiences except for the last month . I was trying to get a replacement phone as my kid broke hers and for the first time I was very frustrated with best buy in handling of the situation (geek squad). However the the staff in the store and the manager Trey tried their best to help me everyway they can. After a month of waiting, I didnt receive a replacement phone, but I ended up getting a gift card. If I do purchase anything in the future from Best Buy, its only because the Sanford store has some wonderful people working there.

Buyer’s be ware of buying TVs and extended warranty from Best Buy. Somehow someway they nickel and dime you to the end. I purchased two TVs and warranty, three months later one of the tv has an internal line and the cost is $354 to replace. Just sad and crazy that consumers always have to pay.

The LG expert knew exactly how to inform me and sell me what I was looking for in a TV.As for all the other employees, theyre always polite and know exactly how to help you find what youre looking for, but the layout is so chill, its easy to find anything at Best Buy.

4 stars only because they (the company) need to work on their phone protocols. Other than that, I have zero complaints.Patrick was very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable with assisting me in picking out a radio and speakers for my wifes vehicle. As well, Gary, the installer, was really cool to work with. Nice guy and very helpful. Radio and speakers work/sound awesome. Definitely recommend these fellas here in Sanford!!

There were no staff at the customer pickup counter, however, I was immediately helped by the customer service team member who saw me walking toward the pickup counter. I waited less than 20 seconds to receive my item and was out of the door. Excellent, FAST, friendly service.

Ive been in this store twice so far this month, both times with Geek Squad.. (Television & Computer problems). I scheduled an appointment, didnt have to wait to long after arrival. I worked with Isabelle, and a really nice guy (didnt get his name) the 2nd time. Great customer service experience each time.Thanks Best Buy..Im scheduled with their Automotive dept later this week, and I feel confident its also just as great.

Best Buy will not serve you unless you are wearing a mask. You can walk around in the store and look but in order to ask a question or purchase anything you have to wear a mask. They were the only ones in town that had what I needed. The store was neat and clean and once I put a mask on the staff was helpful.

Went to buy a computer, i asked for help to get it down for me it was up in the still so he got it down and walk away never asked if I needed anything else, I had to ask someone else and they never responded to me when I spoke I wanted to buy a monitor and I needed cables. It was like no one wanted to help anyone like it was a big job for them to do their job. So sad that all of them in the store was lazy I would not recommend this store. If you like walking around looking for someone for help

If you know what youre buying and need, go and buy it here. Otherwise dont get anything installed here. The auto tech Gary doesnt know anything about car audio installation and will overcharge you for unnecessary wiring and installation time. Jamal, one of the floor managers, will tell you he is the overall store manager and then allow his techs to talk down to you right in front of him. Worst best buy experience I have ever had. Find another best buy to shop at or save some money and go to Walmart.

We bought a TV and soundbar/subwoofer set from this location just 10 days ago. Not only was every sales person rude and trying to get us to spend $4,000+ for a TV with features we didn’t care for or need, but when we found the TV we wanted, no one helped us to the car. I am currently 7 months pregnant and the store manager and sales representative who sold us the TV were visibly inside laughing watching us struggle until an elderly woman was kind enough to help. When I walked inside and questioned them about this, they said they couldn’t help load the TV.Fast forward 10 days, our TV was USED and defected. When we connected it to the Bluetooth on our phones, it came up as “Fred’s TV”. It has also started flashing at least once a day, colors going in and out. There is a reason they don’t have a store phone number. They know they’re an awful branch and don’t want to handle all the complaints. They should be ashamed of themselves

If it wasn’t for Ina at this store location I would give them one star 😡I walked in and all the way to the back looking forward a silent mouse I passed about four employees doing nothing they could clearly see me “looking around” and not one of them offered to help me. As I got closer to the back I noticed Ina out of the corner of my eye and before I could get within a foot she asked hey can I help you with something !?Not only did she search for the item that was out of stock she was able to order it and have it shipped to my home address same day.I was upset at the poor customer service when I walked in but INA turned it around for me. She is the only reason I had to give five stars. Best Buy, consider yourself lucky because reviews do count and make a difference in where people shop. Tell your store front res to get it together or put INA up front as a greeter!!

This is a nice location. Employees are nice and willing to give a hand.If you, a friend or a loved one are students, you can save $150 in Mac computers. Just purchased an Mac Pro for my kid. I ordered online and it was ready for pickup in 30min. The pickup was very easy, I just showed my ID.Fast and easy! Will do this again.

The manager Trey doesnt know what he is doing. A pc we purchased was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. We show up Saturday (because you cant call and reach ANYONE) and are told that our PC hadnt even shipped yet. First we were told it would be there that afternoon, then it was probably going to be Sunday, then it became Monday and eventually to not having a clue when it would arrive. Long story short they wouldnt even give me the PC that they have in store that was the exact one we ordered. So now we have no clue when our computer will arrive. The management at Best buy actively try to dissuade you from making a purchase or helping you in any way shape or form. Complete joke.

Went in for a TV and stuff for my sons oculus. We requested some help in the TVs and it took them well over 20 mins to come back and help,but ended up helping another couple before us( no big deal) so we find the tv we want but its priced wrong so it takes all day for him to get it approved (so he says) he actually went to help someone else and forgot to get a manger to make sure thats what we were paying and to unmount the TV. It was one excuse after another,to busy talking to easy other and hanging out to get any real help. Finally,took over 45 mins sitting out front for them to bring and load TV.
