Weve taken our Subaru to Six Star for the last 2+ years and have been more than satisfied with every aspect of our experience. Everyone there knows so much and takes time to explain car problems and solutions to them. Work done, whether minor or major, is done effectively and efficiently. I cant recommend Six Star highly enough!

After waiting 3+ weeks to have a gas tank replaced and transmission pan replaced, I finally got my vehicle back only to have the check engine light come back on within 24 hours. They attributed it to a faulty part. Two + weeks later I got my car back again. No return calls (as promised), very little communication at all. Insisted on OEM parts for quality control. Very disappointing as I have taken my vehicle to Six-star for over 10 years. New ownership, I understand. I will be taking my vehicles elsewhere in the future.

My Ford Transits front axles boot was leaking grease. I took my Transit to Six Star Automotive to do the work.I had intended to have the rubber boot itself replaced. However, owner Dale explained to me that for a little more cost, I could have the entire axle replaced. I was very thankful for that advice.Dale recently purchased Six Star Automotive from Chris who is the founder of Six Star.I asked Dale what his mechanical was? Dale has over 20 years experience in the Air Force and several shops.All of Six Stars mechanics remain working at the shop. Even former owner Chris was still there the day that I brought Transit in.Six Star completed the axle replacement job quickly and at the estimated cost. That cost was less than 1/2 the estimate from the local Ford dealer!

1995 Mitsubishi MonteroThese guys did an awesome job. The initial repair was completed timely and professionally at a reasonable rate which actually came in lower than the original estimate. There was an issue with the car afterward, but they took the time and energy to carefully rediagnose and identify the problem. Because this was a part of my initial reason for bringing it in, they were more than willing to work with what may have been additional fees. While I did not expect this, the gesture was very much appreciated and created a relationship that will hopefully last many years.Thank you Chris, Tim and Steve!

Went beyond my expectations to work on repairing a tricky issue with my door locks. I especially appreciated Brandon staying late on a Friday to make some last minute adjustments to my auto lock system beyond the scope of what I asked for.

Went in for an estimate on replacing my transmission 04 colorado. $ 3,500 .... (What a joke) wait I have the transmission already... Sorry cant use customer parts. I Went in to emerald automotive. Brian gave me me a quote $1,500 total. Wait I have a transmission already... New quote $600 moral of the story shop around dont pay more than you have to for the same quality work.

Tried to charge me $100 for an oil change! That dog wont hunt monsignor...
