Friendly staff, clean place. Fast service. Not the most through wax Ive ever gotten, but they do a good job. It is one of the least painful waxes Ive had, so they get bonus points for that! I keep coming back!

I love this place! I went in to get my eyebrows waxed yesterday and everyone was so kind. I had Ami and she did an AMAZING job. She talked to me the whole time and made me feel comfortable and the wax hardly hurt. For sure going there again

Very friendly staff and clean facility. Got a Brazilian wax here and wasn’t very happy with the results because I still had a lot of hair left. Of course I didn’t notice until I got home which is even more annoying and the wax center was of fully booked at the times I was available. I had to find another waxer that wasn’t booked in another town and basically had to pay for the service all over again. So I spent over $100 just for a Brazilian wax in one day not including the gratuity to both esthetician’s. Would be nice to get credit towards another service considering the inconvenience. 3 stars because the staff was very nice and accommodating.

I’ve been going to European wax centers since 2015 in multi states and had never heard of this three finger rule Brazilian bikini wax ever, I had light hair obviously three fingers beyond the rule according to the technician but if I apply my three fingers it’s within limitations. I left the San Rafael location having to go home and shave which I hadn’t done in years, It was quite ridiculous that she didn’t wax it off, they wanted to charge me extra money for the service. The technicians in Oakland are proficient and professional. I even had my under arms done as well paying a total of 76 bucks. The tech proceeded to tell me the extra cost covered the inner thighs down to the knee, I was just asking for a bikin waxing. It’s interesting that I’d never heard of such rules in all the years I’ve waxed at various European wax centers. I guess i shouldn’t be so loyal to this chain, it’s laughable the hair she left, I’d think that any other technician wouldn’t have been so petty., for some reason I always have a problem when I refuse to strip totally naked for and under arm and bikini wax, why should any customers be lying there naked with nothing to cover them, even the doctors office gives you something to cover up with. I definitely won’t be returning or recommending this place to the group of nurses I work with.

I like how they run their business (they are a franchise) but they have been able to retain the feel of an independent salon.

This is my go to wax place, best service ever

This was my second visit to European Wax Center, BUT my first to the San Rafael location. The girls at the front desk were so friendly to me and my mom. I came in for a brazilian wax and was very satisfied with the service. My waxer Kia was so kind and fast! This is definitely my new go to location. :)
