I came here on a Saturday morning to pick up two large rose gold “4” and “0” balloons for a friend’s 40th Birthday. I only waited in line for a minute and received my balloons within 5 minutes. I didn’t order them ahead of time. I walked around the store while I waited. It looked very neat and well stocked with party supplies. The staff was kind and helpful. They thanked me for being patient and waiting. The balloons lasted 2 days, still looking full. I have also been here in the past to pick out Halloween costumes and buying party supplies for different events. All of those visits have been great. Staff was helpful and kind each time. I’ll continue to come back.

Clean, organized, friendly staff, out of stock of a couple of items I was looking for; however its understandable. With the pandemic going on whos fully stocked??? Grate Customer Service.

I got everything I needed at an affordable price. I love shopping for party supplies on Amazon but I was in a pinch and Party City had everything I needed and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. I really recommend you have them blow up your balloons instead of buying a helium tank for 30 or $50 because the helium in the tank is not as high quality as the stuff that they have at the store.

This Party City in San Marcos had shelves that were pretty empty. I was not pleased with the balloon bouquet that I ordered from them to be delivered.

We love PARTY CITY! for props, Halloween accessories, party supplies etc.This year there wasnt much in stock as far as Halloween costumes and props...but it was still fun looking around and getting a few Halloween decorations.

Went to get pink hair bow for wifes Bo Peep costume. Went to multiple stores (Walmart, Target and the Hallwoeen store) and could not find it but we found one here. The candy was very minimal and needs updating with current Covid guidelines.

Nicely laid out store. Candy isle right down the middle. 30 minute wait for balloons.

This is the place for party items. The store is huge and the isles are full of items I had never seen before. The entrance wall, where the entrance door is location, is cover with the biggest selection of balloons that I have ever seen. This is a long wall that must be over 35 feet long.My visit was to get a helium fill balloon for our neighbors 95th birthday. This store only puts helium in the balloon once the customer makes a balloon selection.It took us longer to select a balloon because so many designs were impressive, and some were huge. The birthday party lady loved the balloon. She told us today, that days after it was filled, the balloon loves to be on the ceiling.This is a fun store for party ideas and fun items.

Its Halloween prep time, much to do at Party City. Supplies are a little thin...must be sitting out in the harbor. Staff is a little stressed over this but stilll friendly and helpful.

So I went to go get a wig oct 29 @ 7pm so yeah its completely packed with people. The line was out the door and my first thought was 😵😵 but after spending just a minute in line I realized that it was actually moving pretty fast. Serious kudos and props to the team working tonight. I work in retail and was super impressed by the professionalism and the teamwork because it really showed.

I first searched on line for the items I needed. The items were in stock according to their web site. However, when I arrived at the store none of the items were in stock. Waste of time. I do have to say the employees were helpful and courteous.

Signage near tutus indicated 50% off, cashier said it was only for shorts..my friends and I were very disappointed. Wont shop here again.

Totally forgot to do this back around Halloween, but the girl that worked with us was amazing. I forget her name but she took such good care of us, helped us with all of our needs. Line was quick even though it was busy. great people. Great store.

Stay-at-home 5th Birthday. Thanks to Party City San Marcos curb side pick up I was able to add the perfect celebration decor. I called the store for information and Angela was extremely friendly and provided me with all I needed to know for an online order. Ordered some table decorations and #5 🎈 balloon mylar. This was not my best visit to this store. There was not much to choose from in the football and sports section. Maybe Ill have better luck in Oceanside. The store was neat, clean and well organized.

I definitely dropped the ball on supplies needed for a quarantine bday party tonight for one of my roommates. I contact party city last minute (less than 2 hours before closing) and Angela picked you the phone. She walked me through how to do the curbside pick up online and let me know that she will do her best to keep an eye out for my order trying to get it filled for me today ASAP! And wouldn’t you know it 5 mins after placing it I received a call from her letting me know she has it and give her a few moments to shop and it will be ready!!Ahhhh life savers thank you!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Party City, San Marcos!! Got EVERYTHING I needed for my Granddaughter’s Birthday Party!!! Left the store so HAPPY!!! I don’t live in San Marcos, I live in San Diego! We had the Party then I went home!! Without realizing it, I left my wallet!!’ I was panicking when I got home! I had checked other places I went to while out there. To no avail! My bank called me to let me know my wallet was there!! I called and spoke with Angela!!!! I love her sooo much!!!!😘💕 Not only does Party City have everything but they’re GOOD, HONEST, HARD WORKING HUMAN BEINGS!!!!! Talk about EXCELLENT Customer Service!!!!! They had the largest selection Ive ever seen!!! Everything is color coordinated or at last in theme order. Prices are pretty fair! This us great for ravers, celebrations, anything!! Not just halloween! Ten Stars!

Great store. The girls making our balloons popped 2 of our its a boy balloons when blowing them up and didnt replace them. But otherwise we got everything we needed for decorating the baby shower.

They were out of stock on the balloons I wanted & very limited on milestone birthday cards. Also, customer service was friendly but not very helpful.

I have been a loyal Party City customer, but when I went shopping yesterday I will not be shopping there anytime soon. Especially this San Marcos location. I was going to purchase some items for my sons upcoming birthday. My daughter wanted a balloon, so I let her pick one. While the manager was ringing me up (older woman with long brown hair) I asked her to blow up the balloon for my daughter. She said Im sorry there is a 20 minute wait. I said excuse me? Needless to say she would not blow up 1 balloon that would take her less than a minute for my daughter. When I asked her if the customer right in front of her was less of a priority than some one who wasnt in the store she practically said yes! She was rude to me and I left my things and purchased nothing. Her customer service skills were terrible. Ive worked retail and I get it, but come on 1 balloon for a 5 year old would have been less than a minute. Maybe she needs to be retrained on how to treat customers that are right in front of her. (This happened December 3rd around 10:30 am)

It was really busy must have been 20 or 30 people in line but the cashiers were in great form taking care of everyone in a fast and friendly fashion

They dont have much when its not Halloween. The party supplies can be sold at much cheaper places such as winco.

The employees were nice but the price was expensive. I did buy something that I find same item cheaper later,online, but I decided to keep because the inconvenience of bring it back.

The pious attention they charge you others.When berries look at your change and count well the things you bought because they take you out of the box.

Shopping center area, ample parking, the store usually has everything, good service, but the reason for giving only 3 stars are the very dirty bathrooms and lack of personnel at checkouts since sometimes the cashier or cashier is not in their area or line to pay, most of the time there are only one or two people in boxes and one sometimes inflating balloons.
