Hadnt been here in years, so glad I stopped by. Was able to find things I was looking for that I couldnt find other places. Clean and quiet. They carry lots of interesting items, hard to find, and special items. Will shop more often.

Love my World Market!! Nice staff, however, it seemed the store was less stocked than usual. We thought perhaps clearing out for the holidays right around the corner. I was still able to find a couple of treasures!

I had a really great experience with Barbara at the checkout counter. I was not sure if I had my rewards program with them she was very patient and helped me get the 30% off my purchase. Truly amazed how helpful and cheerful was towards my family and I. If you read this tell her that she got an amazing review :) make her day because she made mine.

If there was 0 stars rate I would use that one .Clerk was rude to my husband when he had reminded a man not to park in handi cap zone Clerk said she had told man to park there to pick up something but there were plenty of other non handy cap parking he could have used.

We like the specialty snacks they carry. I savor the dark chocolate orange marzipan bars.

Kinda empty & messy but had all my favorite items. Cashier was friendly. Our site in our city closed so glad to have found one on our trip.

Worst customer service ever. Waiting waiting waiting in the check out line, I always regret when an ad has lured me into the store. It only happens every couple of years. Today’s visit was worse by an epic measure—no body available in the store could perform a simple return on a $30 item for which I had the receipt. Waited more than 10 minutes to figure this out for myself—because I had to hunt down three different people to try and get my return. Ugh. And I still have to go back.

Eclectic little store. Like all the weird little trinkets and Knick knacks you can find. I thought it was strange that they put their discontinued dishes (not contained sets but the ones where you can buy individual plates, saucers, etc.) in the clearance aisle but don’t mark them down. Overheard a couple asking about a discount and they said they won’t mark the pieces down if there is still a full set among all the pieces.... weird... don’t put them in clearance then...

Found exactly what I needed for exactly the right price, and bonus zero shoppers when I was in the store. In and out in 5 minutes.😎

Ive always liked Cost Plus World Market. They have a wide array of gifts, furniture, baskets, glassware, foods of the world, wines, you name it they probably got it somewhere in there.As the name implies, most all of the merchandise is sourced from places outside of the US.If your taste is a little eclectic, or you are having a hard time finding that special gift, try Cost Plus.The parking lot is free and accessible. There is an accessible entrance to the store. It is mostly accessible, sometimes the aisles can be a little narrow but you can usually get to everywhere in the store in a wheelchair.

This store is soooooo cool. The wine selection is crazy good. You can pretty much find anything youre looking for to decorate or design your home. They even have some retro candy from back in the day. Dont miss this hidden gem.

My wife- “I fully understand why Amazon is dominating and why Instacart is starting to take over with home delivery. My recent interaction with Kellie at the SLO location was not only stressful but made my husband walk out because he couldn’t deal with her rudeness. My bad, i didn’t read the back of the receipt in regard to the 90 day return policy so i will take responsibility for that. I don’t understand why we couldn’t just get a $50 credit but that’s fine, policy is policy and the staff doesn’t make storewide policy. I have spent probably $30,000 at this place over my customer life and Kellies rudeness has made it so that i never want to return let alone spend a dime there. The entire interaction from being short with us to sighing to the painful end. So sad. I won’t go back. Ever.”

I love cost plus. They have so much good stuff there and if I were loaded Id buy all of it. But since Im not I cant buy much of anything. Thos place is expensive, but they have some good hot sauce and candy!

Fairly new and convenient shopping. In general, I love the variety of items carried at a Cost plus World Market and this one did not disappoint.

Small but diverse selection of international foods. Rather pricey, but cheaper than traveling for them or via mail order. Very nice staff here. Much of the offerings are overpriced, but otherwise impossible to find in this area.

A good place to find exotic gifts and foods.

I usually LOVE World Market and have turned to it for many home decor items when decorating our new home but my recent visit has really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. A month or so ago we bought an Ava Window Curtain mistakingly thinking it would fit our sliding glass door. Well, after taking it out of the package we quickly realized it wouldnt fit. I took it back today without the correct credit card but hoping that I may get store credit or exchange it. The first girl to help me, Alex, was very sweet but needed to ask someone else. Then comes Amy (I believe that was her name, mid-50 year old woman with dirty blonde hair). Amy was very, very short with me and cut me off in several occasions and she proceeded to talk down to me like I was an idiot. She explained that I needed a receipt and the original card, which I totally and utterly understood. However, she then told me I didnt have a standard sized slider (its a prefabricated house-- if anything it would be smaller) and that, thats why this curtain was too short. She never once tried to listen to me and even when I calmly and conversationally explained that I had taken it out of the package and hung it so I knew it was too short, told me I was wrong. I even found myself apologizing... APOLOGIZING and telling her I wasnt trying to be argumentative. I work as a customer service representative for a rather larger company in SLO and I would have never argued with or belittled a customer like this woman had done. Very poor service on her part.

This is a fun place to go. Theres a variety of things to look at, and the prices are super reasonable.

Nice store,but you need money at this store

Be warned that they sell BYCAST leather chairs and sofas. They sell them as LEATHER when it is NOT. - Bycast/bicast leather is a man made material that incorporates real leather leftovers that are ground up and added to these fake sheets of material... that WILL peel, crack and bubble. We bought an expensive leather recliner. Only a couple years later of nearly no use, we have to get rid of it. We talked to the manager at the store. She admitted that they sell products as LEATHER knowing that its essentially a vinyl type material that is FAR less superior. Horrible, false and unfair marketing. When products are made from bicast leather, the price is usually reflected(much lower). This chair was market as leather and priced as such. World Market just washed their hands and moved on knowing so.
