I’ve had severe dry eyes for almost 3 years and where I was living before didn’t have a lot of treatments for my condition. I discovered 20/20 Optometry after searching for a dry eye specialist when I moved and started coming here in December 2020. My eyes were so painful it was really hard for me to step out of my house. Dr. Lee examined me and acted immediately by starting me on MiBo Flow. I’m just a few visits I felt WAY better than the 3 years I’ve been suffering through this. My dry eyes came again and I did LipiFlow then eventually on medicated eye drops to maintain my eyes.I get that the dry eye treatments are really expensive but what I found is that they do monthly payments to ease any financial burdens. Shaun was really helpful with that!Overall, the dry eye process I went through with Dr. Lee and Kimberly have been amazing and I can’t thank them enough for their help. Don’t ignore these symptoms otherwise you’ll end up like me. But if you do, go see the ladies here!

Worst Customer service. Rude front desk staff and the optometrist does not have patience in letting you to select the frames. Not many options in the frame. Doctor is super friendly and nice.

I wish I could give 10 stars!!! One of Silicon Valleys best kept secrets. If you are looking for a pair of glasses, need a check up (which we almost ALL do) or need to fill a contact prescription......look no further. Dr. Lee is one of the best humans I have ever met. Not only is she skilled and extremely knowledgeable, her and her team go above and beyond to insure your well being. One of the services she provides is called the dry eye spa. It’s simple.... we take care of cleaning the rest of the body but when was the last time you took time to remove the gunk that gets built up in your eyes through the years? Nuff said. The process will be much better explained by one of her team members. They are friendly, helpful, and do what they say they are going to do. I highly recommend 20/20 optometry to anyone looking for an honest, caring and no nonsense optometrist. Coincidentally, they also provide ample selection of reading glasses. The familial atmosphere makes the whole experience. The service you receive is wonderful but the professionalism and friendly environment makes you feel like you are a part of the 20/20 family. Very expensive.. force you select options which is not required..most of them insurance not cover . Not sure why they already take pic .. asking at the time review it not cover in insurance.. and farms also not display price .. they will tell you once u select .. so you can not go back and check. very disappointed 😞

Dr. Lee is the best doctor I have seen. She is extremely professional, deep medical and product knowledge and willing to share with her patient, never rush, and runs a top notch optometry office. This is the perfect example that all other optometry should follow.

I love this place!! I stumbled upon it months ago in search of a cute pair of readers. When I walked in they showed me readers but more importantly they asked WHY. I needed readers because my contacts (which were dailies) didn’t come in my prescription with transitional lenses. I wear contacts every single day and I do a lot of computer work, but I’m also in meetings and so I need both near and far sight. I did not want to go to two pairs of glasses. 🙄 The team in the office was welcoming and encouraging and exceedingly helpful! They asked me to stay for a short period of time and showed me DAILY LENSES THAT DID BOTH!! 😱 They made time to do the exam right there, they managed all of my insurance, they made me comfortable and feel completely at home. I left with trials. A couple weeks later I was back and my vision wasn’t exactly perfect (imagine wanting that) and the dr took so much time adjusting a teeny bit here and there until she found the perfect pair! I see distance with clarity and I see my computer screen with ease - no squinting!! And no readers!! 😂 I’d recommend this place to anyone for their vision needs. They’re kind and funny and very, very easy to work with. I just ordered more contacts over the phone - a simple two minute phone call and they’re being shipped to my house. This place is literally #1 for me. I’d never go anywhere else. ❤️

Initial Review 02/01/2020My first impressions of this establishment were absolutely great. I called in on a Thursday and they were able to schedule me in on a Friday for an eye exam and contact exam/fitting. It felt smooth, it was effortless and i was just happy to be able to get an appointment so soon. My appointment went well. I scheduled a follow up appointment for one week an also scheduled an appointment for my mother so she can also get taken care of when i returned for my follow up.Here is where the first impression took a turn for the worst. It was a completely different staff the second time around, no problem right? We were paired up with the lens/contact specialist Benji, at first she seemed very charming. We greeted each other respectfully and I closed out my account pending balance. On the other hand, when my mother was being trained on how to use her contact Benji was visibly and EXTREMELY audibly frustrated. Ill add that Benji was also physically frustrated as she would be banging her hands on the table and stomping her feed vigorously and several times. Why would she do this if she is tasked with training new contact users on how to apply their contacts? Benji would make ill-thought comments with regards to my mother competence with her ability to apply her contacts, hello, its her first time AND we are paying YOU (Benji and 20/20 optometry of Silicon Valley) to train US. What a disgusting comment to make. Benji has paper thin patience and should not be tasked with assisting patience if she can not control her own emotions..At the end of our appointment I became verbal myself, requesting Benji to simply close out our balance so we can deal with someone else in the office. Benji continued her ill-thought comments requesting me to not express my frustration with her quality of service, to which I responded I simply was expecting the same quality of service I received the prior week I was in for my exam. Please get Benji to a proper position where she does not cause discomfort and ruin the image of a respectable establishment. Awful follow up service.

20 20 optometry is great! The staff members are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. They have a wide variety of nice-looking glasses frames and practical lens types (computer glasses, sunglasses, etc). They also sell this dry eye kit that Ive recently been using with great success.

I chose 20/20 Optometry for several reasons. It was a part of my plan, 5 minutes from my job and I really liked the fact the the staff was all female. It was easy to get an appointment and i really like Dr. Lee. She was helpful and very thorough. If I could say anything negative it would be parking during the lunch hours of 12 to 2. It is a very busy lunch area, try and make your appointment for early morning or after 2. Parking was a breeze after 2

This place is great! Super helpful staff that will expand your mind about what kinds of lenses would look good on you. I was here a year ago with my MIL on town from NYC who got frames she loves. Just came in for my own optical upgrades and .

I have been a client here since moving to the bay area in 2005. The service is outstanding, my eye care needs are always met. I know they are looking out for my long term eye heath, and I appreciate the personal care. Additionally, I choose to wear glasses over contacts on a daily basis, so the team makes sure I always look great! Great office and staff! Ive had my Zero Gs (dont know if they still have them) for about 5-6 years and i still get compliments on them. Dr. Lee and her associates are really knowledgeable about what they do and very personal. The office is great and they make you feel like you are a part of their family. Would recommend this place to my whole family!

Everything was good, except they pushed a eye picture exam on me for $29 without insurance. They put you at the spot. Suddenly tell you we examine your eye, but it is not covered by insurance. It is very good to do it. I think it is fooling people. They lost 2.5 stars. 4.5->2. Added a star because of doctors attentiveness.

Dr. Lee is Amazing. She is very attentive, and understands my needs for vision care because I am on the computer for 8 to 10 hours a day. It’s key that my vision is clear, however I have yet to be able to ware bifocals because of the unwillingness to learn to use them  I’m old fashion and Dr. Lee knows this and has made great suggestions. I have found that the glasses a bit on the expensive side but I understand business is business. Also, you have to ask to have your prescriptions, and they email them to you sometimes a day or 2 later. How hard is it to write them down and hand them to you? As a consumer, I believe it’s my right to shop around for the best price for expensive eyewear, right? 20/20 is a great place to go to. Very professional, and quick. And yes, you need to be aware of the retina picture, I get it every 2 years. Dr. Lee, keep doing what you do!!! It works!!! See you soon!!!

Ive been going to 20/20 Optometry for several years, and I keep coming back because of the excellent quality of care. Dr. Lee is thorough and friendly; she always takes the time to explain everything she is doing and to make specific recommendations based on my lifestyle. This place is so lovely. If you have dry eyes, you really need to come here. The dry eye spa is amazing and the team is so educated on dealing and even fixing the issue. My results have been dramatic in regards to how my eyes feel and perform. Cant recommend this place enough.

The eye exam was pretty standard, though Im glad the whole puff of air in your eye thing is history :-)The frame side was outstanding. The selection is wide, covering a range of prices and styles. The style selection includes both current and classic. (Unlike some shops where the selection seems to be a single frame makers line.)The fitting was quick, and the finished spectacles were ready in a couple of days.The staff is exceptionally friendly. With my last purchase I had experienced some discomfort from one of the nose supports after a week of wear (I bought an inflexible frame - too smitten by the look I suspect). Over the next few days they adjusted the frame (heat, bend; heat, bend) to eliminate the issue. They were always glad to help.And theyre open on Saturdays, and late on a couple of days during the week.!

This is the best optometry to have your eyes examined and to order glasses. I have visited here for ~5 years and had very good experience. They are professional and polite. Recently changed to another site due to job location change, and suffered a lot to get a good pair of glasses.I will come back to this optometry for my next glasses.

Its hard to believe Ive been a regular patient of Dr. Lee for more than 15 years now, but I wouldnt dream of going elsewhere, even though Ive moved and changed jobs twice during that time and now travel from Los Gatos for my appointments. Dr. Lee is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and moreover very communicative and warm. More than providing just routine eye exams, she delves into the physiology of my eyes, keeping me abreast of their changes over the years and what to look out for (ha!). I highly recommend Dr. Lee and her team.

Ive been using 20/20 Optometry for about 10 years now and Im very happy with the service there. The office is well run, well organized, the staff are all very friendly and professional. I really should try to arrive more than five minutes before closing time, but Shaun still took the time to adjust my new glasses so they wouldnt slip off even if shake my head while looking down. The lenses fogged up while I was doing it. No problem for Shauns magic potion, which she carefully showed me how to apply, even though the door was by now locked.Thats the kind of service that makes me make the unaccustomed effort to say that Ive been a happy regular customer of Dr Lees since long before social meedja was a thing. I prefer optometrists to ophthalmologists now that most ophthalmologists have started pushing la$ik. The exam was fine. The doctor was knowledgeable. I was asked multiple times about purchasing contacts and told all the great benefits of contacts, even after expressing that Im not interested. Hence, only 3 stars.

Dr. Lee is not just another pretty face. I always look forward to my eye appointments with her and Shaun too who has an eye for helping select eyewear that keeps me looking great. The rest of the staff is equally friendly and they know your name when you walk in the door. I have recommended multiple people to 20/20 and will continue to do so.

Ive been a patient of Dr Lees for about 15 years and have always received great service -- shes done an excellent job keeping up with my vision as it changes thru life. Shes very good at explaining the process and my options. And she takes the time to get to know me and my circumstances -- it feels like Im visiting a friend as much as getting an eye exam. And not to be forgotten, Vangie and Shawn do a fabulous job finding the ideal frames for me.

After they take your money they dont care if your glasses fit or not. Im never coming back to this place.

Great service great people great Glasses great everything, I bought My TC Charton and I accidentally bent them on the 3 day of having them or 5th Im not sure but I went ahead and fixed them in place and took them to see if there was something wrong with them after I bent them but it was fine the glasses quality is just on another lever from luxottica and I just live the people working there they are so nice and friendly.

Ive been coming to 20/20 Optometry since February of this year, and each time has been a great experience. The whole staff from Dr Yu, Dr Lee, Julie, Vangie, Shaun, etc are all very friendly and welcoming every time I come in that I dont just feel like a patient when I go in. In addition to the very welcoming and positive attitudes, Dr Yu and Dr Lee are very thorough in their procedures done for the patients and express genuine interest in making sure patients are well taken care of and that any issues are taken care of. Whatever eye issues Im dealing with, I can be sure that the staff here will take care of the issue. I would highly recommend coming here and wouldnt go anywhere else for eye issues.
