Love the ROSE LATTE, got it with almond milk #vegan and so creamy and not overly sweet. The vibes are amazing outside, as many people mentioned, the trickling water fall and greenery is perfect for study/work. The baristas were so very kind. AND they have mason jars for dine in, love that. #saynotoplastic will definitely be back!!
Cool menu options, great coffee, and friendly service! Love how they support kids with special needs by selling their art! Great list of specialty teas!
Friendly, cozy, unique, tasty! Also the gifts selections from the special needs, they are talented!
SO so kind, a fantastic place to support, the spiced almond latte is soo tasty, as are these muffins! Support locals with developmental disabilities, theres little cups and other gifts to fundraise for FCSN!
Friends Coffee & Tea is a hidden gem! The owner and staff are so nice, friendly, and thoughtful. Friends Coffee & Tea helps train individuals with disabilities and provide employment. This is an amazing step to helping those who dont always have the same job opportunities. The rose latte was very strong, not sweet at all. The flowery taste was prominent. The drink itself is really pretty and topped off with honey. The interior is clean and spacious. Prices are reasonable. Friends Coffee & Tea sells ceramic cups, clay pots, and other goodies from local vendors.Support your local small businesses and enjoy some awesome coffee/tea. Its a great quiet, study spot as well.
First time here and will 100% be back. Can honestly say best service and afternoon tea I have had. Staff were lovely and friendly and had no trouble.
This is one of the most quaint and beautiful cafes run by kids with special needs it has pictures, pottery, cosmetics all made by talented kids. Even though off the beaten track, pay a visit...its the lease you can do to support a good cause
Quaint little coffee and tea shop with small bites/pastries. The rose cafe latte is very good, fairly strong rose flavor which I enjoy. Its ran for individuals with special needs to learn work skills, so dont be impatient when you come here!
My favorite new Coffee shop!! Made fresh and very creative...The Iced Marshmallow Latte looks like a work of art...Roxanne, Charlene, Casey, Angie and Sandy are always upbeat and smiling!!
Great variety of coffee and pastry. Great display of pottery and gift ideas with excellent quality. Spending time here sipping coffee and enjoy browsing the display is very soothing. Very friendly staff. Proceeds help with special needs persons.
Love the specialty drinks. They arent the everyday tea and coffee drinks. The Grapefruit Honey Tea is delicious and refreshing. Tha Earl Grey Milk Tea is good hot or iced. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I love learning about the various treats they have. The rose cookies are delicate and tasty. The shop is filled with wonderful handmade items: soaps, coffee cups, cards, paintings and handmade Lego candy dispenser. So glad to have discovered this gem.
My grandson has autism and this is their coffee shop. One time or another my grandson has worked there. Please stop in enjoy the coffee and meet some of the workers. The school is right behind the coffee shop FDSN.
I loved the service and the food at Friends Coffee & Tea. They have a wonderful mission and beautiful artwork and pottery sold in store as well. If you know any events or companies that can feature or even help promote/sell their cards/pottery/paintings, please approach them! I got myself a milk tea there. It was lovely!
Very warm and inviting atmosphere with a lot of friendly faces. The coffee served was on point and the pastries were exquisite. 10/10 would recommend.
The quaint coffee shop serves amazing coffee and pastries. Amazing atmosphere and helpful staff.
I tried the rose coffee latte, it was good. Staff is nice. A little small and a bit loud.
This is your best neighborhood coffee shop in all of San Jose, and not only does it serves delicious and wonderful different flavors, but also Endeavors to bless the community and give back. It is a beautiful place.
A true coffee utopia where I find productivity paradise every time I visit to work and a perfect vibe when just catching up with friends.
Hibiscus Honey Tea is fantastic, and the pastries are much better than at the usual coffee&tea chains, even if it takes them a long time to be prepared. But what makes this really special is that youll be supporting Children with Special Needs who will be learning to work as baristas.
This coffee shop is so meaningful. All coffee and bakery are made by special needs children. Please support them.
Very nice people and for a good cause, but the cup of coffee I got was extremely bitter. Im hoping I just got a bad brew and I hope they have better coffee
A nice little gem, good place to get coffee and help people with learning disability at the same time.
Good place doing good work
Nice people, good coffee...
