I called here and asked about the price to repair a cracked screen on an iPhone X. I stated I did not know if its called max or plus, but the screen size is 6.1 or 6.2. He said it was the max and quoted me at $120. I was at Oakridge today, and I went over to the kiosk. Realized I didnt have cracked the phone on me (it currently doesnt have service) and spoke to the employee there. Again, I said its an iPhone X max or plus, but it has a 6.1 or 6.2 screen. He said he could do it for $100. So I went home and got the phone. I get back to the kiosk and he informs me that this is the X (which I previously informed him it was AND gave the screen size) and he couldnt do it for $100, it was now $145. I pressed him and said I told you the screen size, to which he replied This is the X, I cannot do it at that price. I said I was quoted $120 on the phone and he refused to do it at that price as well. I asked AGAIN, did I not tell you the screen size. His answer I dont remember. Mind you I had been gone less than 20 minutes since receiving the $100 quote and the foot traffic in the mall is nonexistent today. Needless to say, I walked away and went to another kiosk that was infinitely more professional and they got my business. iPlayNTalk let me walk away over the difference of $25. I will never go to them for anything.

I highly recommend having your phone repaired here at iplayntalk at the mall. The technician had the phone repaired in under 10 minutes and suggested a screen protector (which I obviously needed) for only $10 extra

This place closes at 8pm. I arrived nine minutes late while they were closing shop and I figured it was too late to ask for help to fix my phone, so I asked what time they would be open. The man behind the counter asked what kind of service I needed and I told him that my screen was broken and types and clicks on things without me touching it. He fixed it in literally less than 10 minutes and he offered me a discount for a new case and screen protector.

I was on vacation in the area and my daughter dropped the hotel phone right in the middle of my iPhone’s screen. It looked really bad to the point I didn’t think it was fixable, but we were at the mall and I saw the reviews for this place so I thought I’d try it, couldn’t hurt right?!I told them what happened, I also mentioned that it had locked itself since the part of the screen that smashed kept thinking it was being pressed and locked me out of the phone, asked if they thought that was a problem, if the damage seemed more than just the surface?Of course just for the quick buck they said it would be “no problem”.It took a while after my screen was fixed to go to an Apple store and have the rest sorted out, by the time I found out the middle of my screen doesn’t work I was already back at work and with everything going on they have been impossible to get a hold of. So my “warranty” was wasted, my time and money as well.They switched out the screens just fine, but I specifically asked if it seemed like that would be enough considering what had happened before they even took my phone and was assured it wouldn’t be an issue.Now that I think about it, once they removed the broken screen I noticed the guy working on it call someone over and talk about what was underneath.How about a refund?!?

I brought my iPhone to change the screen, the technician recognized a battery issue as well. She was able to fix both less than 20 minutes! Wow. Also, I bought a better case and tempered glass screen protector. Their price is fair and also good for me, my phone works perfect now! If I any service i will back here.

Unfortunately I cracked my iPhone 7 Plus and never really got around to fix it because of how long it usually takes to get the whole process done. I was walking through the mall earlier today and came across iPlayNTalk and was immediately greeted by one of the Employees. He assured me that my phone will approximately take 15-20 minutes to fix. I didnt believe him at first because Apple a couple weeks ago told me that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to fix. Im glad I stumbled across this kiosk in the mall. My phone was fixed within 15 minutes and now I dont have a cracked screen :) I recommend this business to anyone thats looking to get their iPhone repaired with little to no time to wait. They also have cute cell phone cases, charges, and accessories for much cheaper than what Apple retails for. And in my opinion, their cases are more durable and will protect your screen 100%. I made the mistake by getting my cell phone case from Apple and it ended up leaving me with a cracked screen. Haha, how ironic!

BUYER BEWARE!!!They mounted a defective screen for my iPhone 5s, so that I couldnt really use it after (the screen that doesnt allow proximity sensor to work properly, hence causing different buttons like mute or speaker to be pushed while having a call). I paid for this replacement $140 ($85 screen + 50 or 60 service fee of the work done+something for home button replacement)Because I live in San Francisco, but fixed my phone here in San Jose (it was an emergency) I had a chance to came back to the store only 3 month and 1 week later after the initial screen replacement.The guy who fixed the phone called his manager (I guess owner of the place) and manager said I have to pay again because I am a week over their warranty period. I explained the situation, he was still insisting on me paying for the screen replacement again. And they didnt hesitate to mention that since then the price of the screen increased from $85 to $95.So I had to pay $140 in the beginning for them to mount a defective screen to my phone and now they were insisting on me paying even more for THEM TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES!!!This is just unacceptable. They way the manager (owner) treats his customers is awful.Later on I checked other reviews on This place and realized that there are plenty of other customers with the same problem! THEY MOUNT DEFECTIVE SCREENS and then refuse to fix it!!

I payed over $100 and they broke my phone and tried to blame on water damage. My phone worked fine before, only the screen was cracked, and they broke the chip reader and sim card, and tried to blame it on me and water damage. Then they wanted me to come back and pay more for them to fix it. This place sucks.

It is terrible. Never recommend here. I just wanted to replace my LCD glass of iPhone7.But they made big scatch on my phone during the work. And approximate sensor and brightness sensor didn’t work anymore after that. I had to re-visit there 3 times due to their wrong installation.And I claimed for big scatch in my phone. But they said that it was unavoidable for them to replace lcd. What the hell. Who wants to have that kind of big scratch on their phone during fixing the phone???? I’m 14 year-experiencd smart phone enigneer and I also have quite many experiences to replace previous iphone before. That is basic. But they didn’t say sorry for the scratch.If you want to have big scratch on your phone during the fix, visit and ask them to fix your phone. Good luck.

Highly Recommend..!I fixed the 6s+ screen for $110 at some kiosk in Oakridge Mall, After few days I noticed the touch was not responding properly I went back to that kiosk he said its a Phone problem not screen problem and asked me to go to Apple, when I went to Apple the appointment time was long, so I decide to try Iplay n Talk which is near Apple. They said the problem was the screen as its not oem, they said they can replace the screen for $130 and they use OEM screens with 90 days warranty, got it fixed in 10mins and screen is working Absolutely good.I definitely recommend this place..Beware:Dont get scammed by other shops in oakridge mall by seeing less price

Worst experience ever these people charge over 30% of asking retail on their phone cases and their excuse is to cover their rent charges. I left a long review on Yelp you can check out to see what happened and was asked remove it no apologies only this is unfair this is what we charge for our cases. Before you buy here check to see what you can get it for online dont pay 30% more just order it from the manufacturer. Even with shipping you will save money.
