I really wish the whole “you need a reservation” policy was more coherent. My husband and I drove about half an hour to get there, just for them to tell us that they don’t do walk-ins. I tried to contact, but they don’t answer. Very disappointed.

Went there for a friends birthday first, but then returned just by ourselves. Very enjoyable atmosphere and activity, lots of fun. Kind of pricey (paid $115 for three medium-sized candles without extra decorations). Same company as Petroglyph just a couple of doors away, and they offer good mutual promotions. But it is much easier to make a pretty candle than to create a beautiful piece of ceramics. My kids like both places, but I do prefer Glow.

This place was just so much fun. Spent about two hours and made our own candle, and designed it. Such a nice place for team building and spending time with friends.

I received a candle as a gift from a family member. I LOVE candles so this was perfect for me EXCEPT when I actually tried to burn the candle. The candle was simply dangerous to say the least. The candle had craft glitter and other items embedded in it that actually caught fire. After speaking to an experienced candlemaker, they said that additional items such as shells, coffee, jewelry, glitter and other similar items should never ever be embedded in a candle. Its simply dangerous and I was very lucky that I could extinguish the embedded item that caught fire.

Making candles is a lot of fun. A little on the expensive side for a get together or a date because of the studio fee but so fun. The people who work there explain everything to you and if you are anything like I am, it will take a long time.

Finally coming back to write about my awesome experience at Glow Candle Lounge. The candle that I created lasted me so long! It was a thick square design, about 6in. tall and had a burn time of over 48 hours - maybe even more! After spending 2 hours putting the candle together, choosing its scent, and designing it to my liking - it felt good to know that the time and money I spent was well worth it! It was a quality experience, and I went home with a quality product. Would definitely come do this again!

Great place to have a fun time with your girlfriends

Super fun crafting adventure. There was a decent mixture of adults on their own as well as families and even a birthday party. Two very large candles cost just about as much as if you were going to buy 2 large candles from a major manufacturer - but you get to make these yourself! There is a whole lot of cute designs to get inspiration from and its rather simple to get the hang of. Very small children will likely need help cutting up the wax but older kids would likely need very little supervision. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to answer all of our questions.

I love making the candles here, its not necessarily a walk-in type of place when its close to closing shop for the night, but its understandable. Always make a reservation, and call ahead of time, for a great experience.

Great place to be creative with the family. We each made a candle and the kids made an additional small candle each. You can look at the done candles waiting to be picked up for inspiration. They have a lot of different mini was shapes called pips that can be used in your candle. The pips dont work well with curved candles so pick your shape carefully. Have fun and be creative.

I absolutely love this place. Its such a great way of spending time without actually eating! Its well worth the price, and the candles are great quality - burn for ages and smell awesome for months!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this as a girls night activity! I love the idea of paint night with wine, but there youre recreating a painting. Here I could create! You choose a mold (shape) and then let your imagination go! It can get pricey but its not just a candle. Its a candle, and a class, and entertainment! Plus a great memory of time with friends! Cant wait to go again!

We went as a group from Momentum for Mental Health. Had a delightful time with hands on experience with guidance, making our own candles with any form we chose, with any colors of wax we wanted in any combination.The staff are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and finished our creations by pouring warmed wax into our molds to set overnight. The candles came out so beautiful. Very budget friendly as well! Take the entire family and make an adventure of it.

What a unique idea!

I really like glow lounge. Its a great idea and the location is organized in a way that they can always be hosting a large party and still take walkins. I have gone twice here but have had a hard time actually burning the cool candles. The candles can be a great gift or decoration. The place itself is a great date night or activity with friends or family.

My daughter surprised me today with a nice brunch at Noahs a couple doors down, then Candle making at Glow. It was so relaxing and so much fun. It was a perfect treat for a beautiful Saturday morning. She knows how much I love to burn candles, and now I got to design my own. :) From the moment we walked into Glow, The smell was delicately sweet and we were greeted with friendly instruction and everything flowed so easily. Ive already told one of my clients about it and she and her friends will schedule a girls night out at Glow Candle Lounge for their next event. Great Job Staff! Wonderful Customer Service. I look forward to spending time with my granddaughter and others here. Thank you!

We came here for a date night, later in the night on a Saturday. It was a little confusing at first... but looking at other people making their candles helped. The employees were nice but a more clear explanation of what to do would have been nice. The candles can take a while to get back but you can pay an extra charge to have them back quicker which is nice since we live 40 minutes away. After we made them we went to dinner and they were ready to go when we came back. Really fun activity to make together and get to bring something home

Nothing actually wrong to warrant 4/5 stars, however this place is quite pricey. Your price partially depends on the size candle you choose and embellishments. If money were no object Id easily give this place 5 stars and frequent visits. Its fun for kids and adults, a cozy atmosphere and they have an incredible selection to personalize your candle however you wish

Glow is a fun and creative way to spend a few hours of your time. Arrive early on the weekends, or choose to visit during the weekday to avoid birthday crowds. There are limitless ways to personalize your candle by shape, color, decorations, and scent. Plus, staff will help you get setup, but wont hover or interfere with your creative process. Candles are ready for pickup within 4 hours.

So I went their with some family members yesterday (Valentines Day) and they sat us down, we picked are candle shape,wax colors, and little different wax shapes. Then we chopped up the wax, put in in to the tin and then we picked our candle scent (i did birthday cake) Then the poured in the hot wax, put on glitter (you dont have to) and i am going to pick them up Today!!! it was such a fun!! you should totally go there soon!!! (Great for Birthday Partys)

The idea is nice, its good in all honesty, but the employees made it less enjoyable and they didnt really seem to care about the decency of your candle. however, some of the employees were nice, just majority werent the best, but the shop overall is great. some of the prices are ridiculous though, this small skull charm was a dollar.. you can buy 50 pc for just 75 cents!

My daughter had a birthday party there, and she really liked it. The wax was a little hard to break but everybody managed to do and had a great time. I recommend going to this candle lounge.😁

Great place to let your creativity soar, candles we made for 8yr old birthday party looked and smelled amazing.The wax chopping can get a bit tedious for big candles and small hands so be prepared to help.Get a frequent shopping card, they can be used next door at Petroglyph, too.

First Came for kids birthday party, end up come here quite often. A good place to enjoy some art creative time with kids or friends.

We love this place for date night and birthday parties. Itll cost you, but the candle you take home is always pro-looking. Fun location for hanging out before and after, food, sweets, clothes and a book store with Ing walking distance.

I made a candle following instructions from a staff creative artist with supplies and choice of was colors and different shapes of molds - triangular, square or round the cost is reasonable and the time I spent at Glow Candle was very relaxing and rewarding.

Fun time with my kid. She had a blast. Loves the candle so much, she refuses to light it. Ha! Kinda expensive, but worth the smile on my kids face.

The worst experience.. Called ahead, spoke to Audrey and let them know we were four for a six year old birthday.. They gave us a timing.. We reach only to be rudely turned away by a Bella!! Who claimed it was not a big deal and as she was the only one she couldnt run the shop.. Well then put a close sign!!!!!! Imagine explaining it to a six year old

Such a fun little place. A tad pricey, but its fun for a moms night out or a fun outing with friends or youre kiddos.

Glow Candle Lounge is what you need when your kids outgrow all those jumping places. Beware, this place is not cheap, but you might not go too frequently too. We had a bday party for my 8 yr old. You call ahead and book a time slot for 2hrs. On weekends better to go with morning slot since parking is easy. The process is you choose a candle which ranges from 12 and up if I remember correctly. We choose$12 one and sitting fees is around$9. Also you can buy charms, additional things to add to the your candle. you choose 3-4 squares of any color wax block. You chop them in small pieces and fill up the mold( some younger kids need help with chopping the wax). Once u are done filling ur candle mold with wax pieces, you choose charms and decorative pieces and the fragrance for ur candle. You take those to the cash register and one of the employees add those for you and add hot water.i think..for the wax to melt and take the shape of the candle.. You are done. Its labeled with your name. You pay, for us which came out to $25 or $26 which includes $12 for candle,$8 or $9 for sitting fees and $2 for charms + tax. The candle is ready within a day to be picked up. You can bring your own food and drinks for the bday party. We ordered pizza from across the street which is very convenient. Also this is a good place for GNO or a mom/ daughter day out. We try to go once every 3-4 months.

Was looking forward to the experience, was denied service because we did not have a reservation even though tables were available. Staff was rude. They gave two different answers as to when walk-ins stopped. We walked in at 8:10. They close at 10p.m. but said they do not allow walk-ins after 7:30(said one) and 8:00(said the other). We took our business to Petroglyph instead.
