Went there to get a radio for an old Toyota. They gave me some wire connectors and a wiring harness for free. Price I paid would have been pretty close to internet prices, but I got it right there. The older gentleman at the register was very knowledgeable and helpful. Went home with everything I needed and installation was easy. Installed everything in less than 30 minutes. Will go back to them again when I upgrade my car audio in my other car.

Great service and professional installation done within 1 hour. Cant imagine better service than this. Only one question, they charge me $100 for a heavy duty back-up camera module. Only camera with no screen. Search on Amazon when I got home, didnt find the similar model but all other heavy duty one costs half of that. Thats why 3 stars. But the people who work there was pro.

Sunny was thorough with every part of the process when upgrading my head unit in my 2014 Mazda 6. Sunny reviewed each part, its purpose, and then walked me through using the product when finished. Having wireless carplay feels like a luxury and brought my car into the 2020s!

My 2003 avalanche needed a bluetooth stereo or at the very least an aux jack for my music and a backup rearview camera. The 4hr promised wait time was knocked down to 3hrs and the final product looks great. Everything works the way I like and price paid in my opinion was fair.

I had a dash cam with the front and back camera that needed installed. I wasnt too sure about the wiring and took it to Gurus. They did it quickly, and the technician walked me through everything on the dash cam, as well as the App associated with it. I highly recommend them!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to put out all the sound their car is capable of. I took my 2001 audi 1.8t here back in 2014. The gurus took care of me! Honest business, they are not looking to take your money on a bunch of BS you dont need or wont actually work in your car. Never had any issues with things not working out breaking down. The cable to my amp broke and I walked in and they gave me an easy 5 dollar fix i could do myself. If youre looking to install a system in your car I would definitely choose guru electronics.

I give them 4 stars because the owner very helpful in picking a stereo, and Brock down prices for me made it a very easy process and quality of work and is perfect and a very comfortable waiting room as they install stereo I would go back again. Perfect experience. Was writing with Sunny about my desired configuration and just wanted to talk about things in person during my lunch break. Well, I ended up leaving my car and was able to pick it up the same day after work with everything professionally installed. He gave me an introduction to my new headunit and even exhanged the face part after I found a small scratch on it. Super happy with everything and can only recommend Guru!

Great service! The technician spent plenty of time helping me understand what he was doing, and tried hard to not have my job cost more than necessary. My installation took longer than they originally predicted (2.5 hours instead of the predicted 2 hours) but it was a pretty busy Saturday, so I understand.

Sunny and Guru were awesome and knowledgeable. They are great at communicating and provided me with enough details and options to make decisions. They have all the parts and pieces in stock so the next time I go, I will skip the Amazon purchases. Sunny was patient and detailed in his work and explanation. There is wifi available if you have to wait. We installed a Pioneer stereo system with Apple car play and integrated back up cam into our 2017 Forester. Job took about 4 hrs and it works like a charm. We are super happy with it, its such an improvement over the awful factory installed system.

DO NOT go to Guru, for Motorcycle Audio Installations, They do not know or do quality Motorcycle Installation and I have to question their Auto Installs, after my experience. Had speakers and amplifier installed onto my 2012 Harley Electra Glide Ultra Limited back in July 2013. Product prices were reasonable and fair price for install, but you get what you pay for ($1,145). At time of Install, I made it clear I wanted quality weather resistant audio speakers and amplifier. I was later to find out, none of these products installed, all though good quality, they were NOT good for motorcycle applications. But That Wasnt the Worst I would find out. In 2016, I began experiencing problems with my speakers and then finally no sound at all, accept through my headset if worn. I returned to Guru and they charged me $100 to diagnose the problem and said my radio needed replacing as well as my rear speakers. They said to replace the radio and speakers, it would cost me $734 and again said the items would be weather resistant. I was concerned about having them do the work again, because I knew for a fact the rear speakers they installed originally, were NOT weather resistant. In fact, I discovered later, None of the Audio Equipment they installed, were good merchandise for Motorcycle/Harley Davidson applications. Through some research, I found another business, who advertises car and motorcycle installation, as well as stocks appropriate merchandise for Motorcycle Audio needs. What I learned through their Diagnose of my Audio problems, was the radio was fried, the equipment installed was good quality, but not weather resistant and the Worst was the Installation was very poor. The Amp/Radio was not even GROUNDED Properly, connections were poorly done and arcing and this could have contributed to the radio not operating any longer. This business I found is recommended and does custom installations for the local Harley Dealership and their Technicians ALL go through yearly refresher training for todays auto and motorcycle audio needs. Guru may have some great prices, may do good work on Auto Installs, but they need to STAY AWAY from Motorcycles or get a NEW Technician, because the Local Harley and this business I went to, said the Installation was POOR. Now, Im paying $2,851 for Quality Work and Equipment for Motorcycle/Harley Applications, but Im Willing to Bet it doesnt just Sound 10X better, but I wont only get 3 years of use out of it!!!

I had a car that I loved but a stereo that I didnt so I was looking for an upgrade. After installing a new head-unit myself I realized that I was in over my head with the amp, door speakers and sub-woofer.After talking with a few installers I trusted Sunny and his team at Guru enough to go with them and I am so happy I did. I needed a backup camera for my 2007 Toyota 4Runner. I had 2 accidents over a 3 year period that involved cars behind me in a parking lot. I couldnt see them, but thats not a good excuse so my insurance cost doubled. After visiting two auto electronics shops, I decided to go with a Sony AX1000 and a license plate camera. Guru sold it to me for significantly less than the other shop and installed it the same day.

Bad service

Better know exactly what you need. Dont rely on store people to give you a good answer. They claim that they supply most of the local stereo shops but their prices are not a good indicator. The parts they sold me for installing an amp i found cheaper at Best buy.....30% less!!!

I have installed my rear entertainment system, Guru and team did fantastic job installing the same with good deal. There was some problem installing the system however they refunded some amount back to me.Its been great service. I would happy to refer anyone who really are looking for customer satisfaction.

Bought my car stereo online and brought it here for the installation. Turned out that they had the same stereo for a lower price! I ended up buying it from them and got it installed on the spot in under 30 minutes. Great service and the install job was clean. Ill probably be back for some speakers and a sub. Overall great car audio shop with a huge selection and good prices. Feels good shopping local.

There are better places to go for installs. They do not have hi end audio. If they look at the car they will not give you a price. Prepare to have an open check book. Careless installers with exception of perhaps one person.there prices do not beat Amazon . Some of products actually good.They do not want to work on BMW. They blame the car when there is an issue and not the installer. They over charge and will charge you for a job that went over 10 minute and charge you 30 minutes. they do not put long time customers ist.

This review is based on my experience at this stereo/audio installation shop.I call them to get a quick price quote on an amp and a sub will for set up and made an appointment with Sunny. I met with him the next day around the afternoon and he was right to the point and give me what I was looking for.Moving forward to the installation, they have two tents set up which is great for your car to be under shade and they have a great team that all ride together side-by-side. I recently had a new set of speakers and stereo installed ($300) for a cross country trip a few weeks ago. Headed out to my first stop in Nevada and my system died upon leaving Vegas two days later, giving me an amp error warning. I ended up driving hundreds of miles in complete silence for a few days, trying and failing to find a shop to look at it. I posted a nasty review out of immense frustration as this affected the enjoyment of the first leg of my trip across the country. Sunny from Guru immediately contacted me within 30 minutes of my review explaining and offering his assistance, offering to compensate me for up to $100 to fix the problem.Im a bit torn on this review....On one hand, something Ive been told is so basic an issue should not have been a problem in the first place. From what I researched online this was a very simple issue almost always due to faulty installation, and the audio guy I stopped at in New Mexico to fix it in addition said the speaker wire connections were not carefully secured. Sure, I couldve easily come back to the shop if I lived in the Bay Area, but when on the road driving 8+ hours a day, its difficult to get this fixed. The damage was done, and what may have been minimal nuisance locally blossomed into a major headache nationally.Yet on the other hand, Gurus customer service is 5+ stars easily. Very fast help (even being so far out of state) was offered, immediate responses to my e-mails were given, and I received a refund the same night of the repair to my Paypal account for $10 more than the repair cost. Honestly you cant ask for better customer service which is what ultimately matters. As such I would recommend Gurus. He was very honest, apologized, reimbursed me, and got me on my way with my tunes on those long stretches of freeway.This would be 5 stars if, as I said, the damage hadnt already been done. But alls well that ends well. Thanks for the help Guru!

Guru Hooking It Up Like Always...Cant Think Of A Better Place To Buy Good Quality Electronics At The Best Prices...#1 Spot

My experience is different from those of 4-5 stars. As usual, I checked a few different garages with comments like this and made some phone calls before deciding to go for one. This one seems to be high rank and thats what I tried.Unfortunately, I dont think Guru deserved any above 2 stars. First, they charged 3 hrs, but it was actually only 2 hrs one-man work. Second, the guy who was not familiar with my vehicle thats ordinary one. He spent long time to fix the problem he created during installation audio/rearViewCamera system. With 2-3 guys help, he got it fixed, but massed up all my stuff (including my groceries I just shopped) inside of trunk without putting back. Making thing worse is that he threw away an original part thats absolutely important for protecting the vehicle. I was astonish how he could do that. Luckily I was there at that moment and I asked him to put it back. He explained I have to take it off for extending wires..... But hello, do you suppose to put it back after wiring...?As you could image the quality of job done by this guy, it tuned out there WERE problems after leaving the garage. I went back the garage again to fix the problems, one of which was fixed, the cause? wrong wired. The other problem? Couldnt fix without buying a new part. The guy who fixed the problem seem to have a good skill, which I have to admit. By the way, there were two more returned vehicles asking fix as well at the moment when I asked them to fix the problems.The parts I bought from this garage were ~15% more expansive than Amazons.
