Stopped by after picking up a rental bike down the road to prep for our trip to Yosemite at the last minute. Carlos was super friendly and eager to help! He recommended a good comm’s set up which ended up being crucial for the trip. He even helped us install them before we took off! Your passion for motorcycles and friendly approach made us feel like we were talking to an old friend. Thanks for getting our trip off to a great start! I’ll be ordering online from cycle gear moving forward as a result of this transaction, give that guy a raise!
Amazing experience. Great staff, good prices. Really awesome.
Excellent service from the staff. Very knowledgeable about the products and had feedback which was very helpful. VERY Impressed with customer service, clean sales floor and pride in the job they are doing. Helping keep people as safe as can be before getting on the road.Thank you Gentlemen.
Absolutely love these guys. This is my favorite place to go when looking for motorcycle gear. I would rather drive here and pay bridge tolls then go anywhere else. Keep up the good work.
Im a new rider and Tyler was super helpful and informative. He also shared some of his insights with me and generally appeased some anxieties Ive been having. I got the helmet I was looking for and some gloves. Ill definitely go back to Cycle Gear for anything else I need in the future.
What can I say that already hasnt been said?????? Just stopped in to grab my kid some gloves and we both end up going different ways and getting caught up in some other stuff. Love walking thru there. From wall to wall,Truly eye candy if there ever was......the only place not inundated with motorcycle stuff is the floor. They should totally get carpets.with motorcycles on em!
I like this place. They have good sales on gear and parts. The staff is friendly. I shop there pretty often and so far I have gotten nothing but good customer service and great price on gear.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. I came to buy my first helmet not quite sure what I wanted, and Sabrina gave a nice overview and helped me find what I was looking for. Im very happy with my purchase.
Initially it took a few minutes to find a salesperson as they were all assisting other customers. That’s OK because I found a huge selection of cycle gear to look at while I waited, with very competitive pricing. It was a pleasure to kill some time here. Once I got the attention of the sales guy, the customer service was top notch, answering all my questions, actually putting in all of the inserts into my helmet and getting it fully ready to wear for me. I generally hate shopping, but find I actually look forward to returning here, and very much want to support this exceptional store rather than simply ordering online.
Corresponded with Kelsey and very much appreciated her willingness to set aside a helmet for my girlfriend to try in-store. Very thoughtful and pleasant interaction. Looking forward to purchasing more products here.
I walk past this place so many time I just had to go there to get some gear. They are so friendly. Will go back there when I need new gear
Dave at the shop was very helpful and knowledgeable! I got a jacket, gloves and helmet and he did not try to up-sell me. Definitely will go back!
Went in to switch my gloves that were a little small, and Daniel the store manager was kind enough to let me get the right size. Even with it being out of return policy. On top of that he ordered me a helmet that should be in, within the next week that is completely sold out online. Man can work miracles, big thanks to him.
Was looking for help and seemed as though I was bothering them trying to get the correct product.
Great customer service! Highly efficient and helpful staff. More importantly I always feel welcome whenever I visit the store. Thanks!
Great place to get motorcycle gear at any price point quality merchandise lots of selections the staff feel more like family then people just working at a store Carlos at San Francisco location is one of the best examples of a store manager I have ever seen
Smooth experience. I knew what I wanted, just needed to try on a couple different helmets, and the salesperson made it easy. Good, fast experience overall.
It was great! I bought a quart of oil. Just wonderful
Dave and Sabrina were a huge help, super friendly, couldn’t recommend them higher 🤘
Every time I visit Cycle gear, I always have a pleasant shopping experience. I think its because the employees are very personable and friendly. Ive never had a problem finding what I needed. The guys at Cycle gear sf are Hella cool.
The guy that helped me at the front was very helpful and nice when I came in. Was looking for a new pair of goggles and he helped me look at all the selections
Bought some dirt bike gear the other day. Was mistakenly overcharged $32. Went to my local Cycle Gear (not where I had purchased the gear) and they gladly reimbursed me the amount. Great customer service! I’ll be purchasing more gear soon!!!
Staff is very Customer oriented. Even though these are uncertain times and staff shortage is visible, they did everything possible to make a pleasant shopping experience
Great employees service are very friendly .I was always satisfied with service
Great customer service and great range 👍
Very friendly and eager to help they went out of their way to be helpful and I really appreciated it the sales rep that help me was very qualified and new his motorcycles Which made it easy for me to get what I need it I just wanna say thank you and keep up the good work
First time ever going into cycle gear and was blown away by the amount of motorcycle gear they carry. I came in to buy a motorcycle ramp, and lucky for me they were on sale. Definitely would take the time to explore some more when I go back next time around.
Cycle Gears selection is the best in SF or the East Bay. The salesperson we worked with knew the gear we were looking for, and was an avid rider himself. It was a good experience.
Called to ask if they have a chain brush and chain cleaner and lube. The person who answered said yes. Came in an hour later. Same guy looked around for it and said they didnt have it. When I asked why he said they have it if they didnt, he said he was new..nSo why did he confidently say he had it when he actually had no clue?Couldnt tell you..Besides that, pretty well stocked store..Found what I wad looking for at SF Moto just some blocks away..
Great place to browse and pickup gear. Good general selection and good service all around.
Helped me find a helmet that was high quality and fit in my Vespa seat, letting me try all the options in my scooter outside. Sabrina went above and beyond even though I was there shortly before they closed.
Very helpful people, both in the store and in the online shop.
The staff was really helpful, I just purchased a Cardo pactalk and received some cool training on using it . Also great help on utilizing discounts even though my RPM account wasn’t set up yet. Thanks for the help
The San Francisco store is great. Always professional and treats their customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
One of the few places I prefer shopping in person. Amazing services, super helpful staff, and the prices can’t be beat.
Love this place. why are the people who work at bike shops always so awesome? I came in clueless and Luke helped me figure out what i needed.
Called ahead to see if they had the battery I needed. They researched the part and Heller it for me. Picked it up same day.
Great place Ive been going here for bout 5 years and always was attended to with eagerness and respect. This is my go to shop for my gear
Helmet was stolen so I stopped by to shop for a new one. The sales associate was very knowledgeable about helmets and the different manufacturers. Helped me pick out the right one. For anyone shopping for motorcycle accessories/gear Id recommend shopping at Cycle Gear.
I purchased Arai Regent helmet from their store in Pleasanton and came here to purchase the VAS-V pro from this store. The service here top notch!Best in the business period. One of the VAS-V Pro brow vent snapped off this morning so I went to this store to see if the warranty covers it. They verified the purchase history and quickly grab the whole new VAS-V pro for me and install it back on my Arai.Loved the service and attention! I will have no choice to come back and shop here again when I need something. Service is just too good!Thank you team CycleGear SF!
Nice store, good location, helpful staff. Its a cool place, great gear.
The most welcoming friendly staff you could wish for. Awesome store. 🙌🏼👌🏼
Their customer service was excellent also all the workers were professional.
Girl helping me was awesome
Great service from a Sabrina at the SF location. Super easy to get to from East Bay. Bought riding gear and very satisfied with the quality of the product and the people.
ITS BEEN 3 DAYS NOW, STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND, I CALL MY BANK THERES NO PENDING TRANSACTION FROM CYCLE GEAR, I CALL CYCLE GEAR @ SAN FRANCISCO, THE SALES PERSON SAID HE CANNOT DO ANYTHING FOR THAT AND JUST WAIT....I TALK TO ILLAYA,HOPING WILL FIX
Went in to buy a helmet and gloves to prepare for for an upcoming motorcycle class, clueless as hell as to what I should get since I am not even a beginner yet. Luckily Elias helped me by asking a few questions to get me the right gear and gave me some useful tips and advices as I get ready to start riding this year.Needless to say, I walked out very satisfied with my purchase and some new knowledge.
Great place very helpful and friendly staff.
Been here twice already and staff gives excellent service. Highly recommend!
Dan as well as Elias were great as always. Friendly, knowledgeable and best custmer service in town hands down. Always makes you feel welcome and taken care of with anything needed. As well as Carl, and Sabrina. Super helpful and know their business.I go to all the moto stores in town and have for the 40 years I’ve been riding. As far as retail and supply, Cycle Gear has them all badly beaten and the could learn profitable lessons from you guys. They don’t really care about the customers and it shows. You can’t fake sincerity. They care about the moto community, the others want to just turn a buck. They don’t even realize people spend more at places they are valued and respected and are not just a dollar sign coming through the door, you are part of the moto family and the whole crew at the shop treat you as such. Best moto store in SF. 10stars. “Thank you for all the great service over all these years. As always, “I’ll be back”. - Simon Martin.
It is the first time that I buy motorcycle things, I do not remember the name of the person who helped me, but I am very grateful for the attention, I will certainly return to this store for my next purchases.
Nice people, plenty of selections of what youre looking for.
Top quality service and professionalism. Thank you for the help. James
Great service alot of gear.Ill keep coming back...
Always helpful and very knowledgeable about anything motorcycle/motorcycle equipment related.
Always have a good experience here.... Always greeted and helped with the upmost best knowledge of what im looking for.
Dont go there they dont want to help you if you not white skin
Elias in the San Francisco shop was super helpful with a special request I made over the phone, even texted me back when I told him I wouldnt have good service when he called back to confirm something for me. Really appreciate it!
Always have a great experience. Super friendly and a great selection.
Nice place and friendly people
Dan, Carl & the guys are ALWAYS very personable, helpful. Anytime I M/C equipment, their my go-to store
Sherman was very helpful and great knowledge of the products.
Great service, very knowledgeable and they have a great selection of equipment and products. Would recommend them to anyone.
The worker was very helpful!
First of all, theres a table across the entrance with a sign asking you to wait until you are accompanied by a sales agent before proceeding into the store. Dont wait. As long as youre wearing a mask go ahead. Their service is great and one of the representatives will catch up to you to help you!The vast majority of the store is taken up by jackets, boots, pants, shirts & helmets. All of the hardware is tucked into the corner space to the right as you enter. They have most of the essentials like grips, bars, mirrors, pegs, lights, bulbs, locks, lifts, covers, chargers, & pads, plus consumables like oil, chains, sprockets & batteries, but there arent a lot of choices among those items. I guess thats to be expected with everyone shopping online. The other thing the seem to have a ton of is communication equipment. They have every type of radio and Bluetooth receiver-transmitter you can imagine. And they seem to know a lot about them.I was looking for a lot of little things to update a bike i just acquired and I found just about everything I was looking for and had a good experience. I was there at closing time (6 PM) and 3 or 4 guys came to the door. The manager was cool and let them in if they knew what they needed and could be quick about it. I suggested that they might be able to do some business if they were open later. The manager said they expected to extend their Covid hours soon. So check on that if it makes a difference for you.
Great buying experience!! Sherman helped me get my daughter a pair of gloves and a helmet, top notch service, Thank You Sherman!!
Excellent selection. Friendly expert professional staff.
Dan at Cycle Gear was able to find me the perfect helmet that I wanted, and expertly navigated their entire inventory. A small investment in comfort and safety. As someone traveling on the road, on a tiny Shadow 600, I realize that a small investment in safety and comfort makes a world of a difference when scaled up to a > 8 hour long rides. Overall great shopping experience every one of the 3 times I stopped here, Cycle Gear is literally a life-saver.
The sales rep Luke knows his gear. Thoroughly impressed on how he could match the gear for its intended purpose. No high pressureI sales approach is welcoming. I highly recommend Cycle Gear.
Friendly staff and good selection of apparel and supplies.
Great customer service.
Great costumer service! I highly recommend this place. Everyone is nice! The manager Dan is super helpful. I had a problem with my helmet and he was able to make me walk out of store satisfied and happy.Good people
As always, the staff greeted us at the door and offered assistance. They brought my directly to the shelves that had exactly what I needed.
Good experience with the sales team but not enough salesperson in the floor to assist customer needs. I will return.
There service and products are excellent
Anything motorcycle is cool.
Phenomenal people at counter...Karl and Sabrina were able to help keep with SRL /Shoei issue..
Great guys, great service, great products
Good people, good selection. What more could you want?
Great place
I walked in and left ready to ride!
Excellent !!!! The staff was very helpful and actually way above average. I would recommend Cycle Gear and this location. You can park your motorbike right in front of the store and still watch it while you shop.
Excellant as always
Got followed around by security guard every move I made it made me uncomfortable considering i just rode in on a brand new bike with all new gear like I obviously have money and they didnt have what I wanted, referred me to SF Moto and I got what I needed there happily and met with much better Attitudes. A smile goes a long way.
There are a lot of cycle gear stores. I spend way too much money in them. But this one has personality.. Good people just doing good things to help you. Impressive staff!
My girlfriend an I got a full motorcycle gear at this place. The salesman was very friendly and knew everything about motorcycles. I found a helmet, jacket and trousers due to his competent advise and patience.
Just what I needed
Great customer service. And just didnt like how they dont carry manufacturer specific parts.
There is a reason why they employ a security guard -- they get so busy at times especially on the weekends. Thats a good thing because the merchandising helps people draw in sales and ask questions about helmetts, jackets, and everything that they have. The parts area in the corner need some help though. Its like an afterthought and they crammed everything they can in that small area. Not necessarily their fault because they have so much stuff. Great selection of gear and they can order anything on the website and have it shipped for free at the store. The staff is very knowledgeable although some can use some training in other areas. Thats okay though; its daunting to know everything about all their wares. Their opinions are not biased nor favor one brand over another -- so you can courageously ask if one product is better than the other. You can find some bargains on discontinued and clearance items but it is a matter of timing and luck. Lastly, having motorcycle parking in front of the store is a big plus and a block away from the freeway ramp is so convenient too. I cant say much about parking for cars because it is on a busy street but you can always park across the street at Costco for free and pretend youre shopping there.
I’ve gone to various Cycle Gear shops around California throughout the years with mixed experiences, but the San Francisco location is pretty good. The staff here is always knowledgeable and friendly. They are open seven days a week and into the early evenings which is convenient. They have a huge selection of clothing and much of it is on the inexpensive side...which can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. The selection of helmets is gigantic and they do carry a full helmet range from top end to budget. They have a decent return policy too.
Good selection of motorcycle gear from major manufacturers you can touch, feel and fit. Expert advice from knowledgeable riders. Great, helpful staff.
I neede to buy a helmet and Dan was very helpful and provided me with all information I needed to know. He gave me time I needed without pushing to buy. For sure I recommend this store for buying motorcycle riding gear.
Was looking for nut for my battery everywhere with no luck. Came here and a the lady found one from a recycled battery and gave it to me! Ty cycle gear!
Needed a battery and they had it. There were super helpful
Was there today to get myself a helmetFred was helping me to choose right product for me. Very kind and knowledgeable about work he is doingThank you Fred!Superior service.
Very helpful staff. Good Selection of gear & beyond.
I went in to find a GPS Clamp for my motor Scooter and Dan was very helpful, asked good questions and had great professional suggestions, even though I owned a motor scooter. Its that kind of employee that SF needs everywhere...I went back for a wiring harness and the treatment was consistently caring and thoughtful. I think Ill go back and get that Carbon Fiber Helmet soon. Thats were client loyalty begins. Thanks Dan.. The GPS bracket and wiring harness work very well. Cheers..Great service, great employees. I was looking for a motorcycle Helmet. The manager there was the best. He was very insightful and impressed the idea of safety when it came to helmet selection. I always appreciate great service. Thats for all your assistance. Cheers.
This place is like a costco for riders. I like it a lot. Great customer service as well.
Great customer service always helpful
Great customer service and selection. Im brand new to riding and Dan spent almost three hours helping me pick out a proper fitting helmet, jacket, pants, and accessories. I would highly recommend Cycle Gear to all types of riders.
