To all who read this: I lost my Samsung A11 on the BART train late this morning and it PINGed from this locale 2:25pm. It is a Samsung A11, in a red & dark grey case (looks like something youd imagine Spider-Man would have on him...)
Everyone at this store is so wonderful and kind! Jen the sell manager and Fiona helped me with some last minute holiday shopping, and were very patient and on top of all the details. One thing that surprised me was they even did an incredible job of gift wrapping all of my purchases!
Sallie Ling and Aaron Trzesniewski recently helped me purchase a Montblanc Starwalker Ultimate Carbon Ballpoint pen. They let me take my time and helped guide me in making a decision. They went above and beyond my expectations. It was not available at the San Francisco boutique and had to be ordered. They were able to get it for me quickly.Note: They DO NOT refund. Exchanges only within a fortnight in original condition.
Amazing, super friendly and knowledgable staff. Joseph is your guy, amazing and super helpful, always makes sure you have the best Montblanc experience possible!
The sales person was very helpful. She was very attentive and listened to my concerns. This is the best Montblanc store I have ever shopped at. Other locations try to sell used items to me for some reason. I had parked in front of their store (not supposed to). I was anxious that I might get a ticket. She took care of charging my credit card quickly and I was able to get of the store in few minutes. It was also very close to their closing time. The most amazing experience ever at a Montblanc store. I will definitely shop here for my next purchase.
Courteous sales staff, personal attention. This store also services their pens on site. When the time is right, this is where I will go.
Great customer service! They are able to do in-store engravings in about a week return time.
Ive used a Montblanc pen for the last forty years and this beautiful store is where I go to get my refills.
Great service. In and out in 10 minutes with my new favorite belt.
How is this a luxury brand? The single worst retail customer service experience I have ever had. In fact, I have had better service at Kohls. The employees in the downtown SF store are not friendly, not helpful and do not know how to use their own systems. I tried to order a Christmas gift online and was unable to do so because the site did not allow for 3-day shipping. So, I took the time to go to the physical store, where their pushy and opinionated associates tried to sell me a different item (when I was very clear that I wanted a specific item). They then took 40 minutes to figure out if there was inventory or not, then offered to place the order online on my behalf and guaranteed it would be delivered by Christmas. I received an email receipt confirming the order. Two weeks passed (including Christmas) and no delivery. I called the store and the associate says she cannot help me. The manager calls back saying that the order was rejected the day after it was placed because there was either no inventory or because the shipping/billing addresses did not match - I have to call the e-commerce customer service line to get an answer and waste more time. Apparently, Montblanc is the only store that will not ship to a non-billing address (how is someone supposed to send gifts? or have items delivered to their office, etc?). The associate who entered the order never shared this information and I never received an email saying that the order had been rejected. So, after making a $300 purchase, I have no gift and have received NO help from the store. This is a pathetic excuse for a luxury company and I will never try to make another purchase from them again.
So happy for IRL service. Thank you.
I submitted my pen for a nib replacement (medium to fine). It took about ten weeks and the replacement nib writes even wider than the previous nib... Ill have to find someone else to do the work.
Very poor customer service experience. Prices quoted incorrectly repeatedly and then at check out without notification charged a higher price. When the error was pointed out there were no apologies, just shoulder shrugs. Poor manager interaction on top of that. Won’t be back.
This is not the service you should get at that price point.Brought in a meisterstuck for repairs cause I identified an issue. They took my email and phone # to inform me of progress. Assured me it would OBVIOUSLY not be used for marketing. After two weeks without news, I finally called them to enquire. They told me the pen was waiting. No one informed me!!I get in the store, get charged $75 to fix the pen. Ask the obvious question: what was wrong with it? Theyre incapable of figuring out what it is the support team did to fix the pen...And the final nail in the coffin: today, I open my email, and I see here my very first Montblanc marketing email. I like this brand. Or used to.What a disappointment frankly. This is not a BIC pen were speaking about. This is not the service you should get when you buy a pen that costs between 500-1000$.Frankly saddened by the whole experience.
Matching Montblancs standard of craftsmanship with their customer service, this shop is a joy. I went in a novice, with a pen Id received as a gift, and came out a Montblanc convert. The champagne may have helped. Still, walking out I felt as though Id left a members only club, like I wanted to remember everyone Id spoken withs name. Admittedly with such a precision product there is very little sales involved, which leaves room to relax and appreciate its quality and history and all that good stuff. Great little shop, great staff, and a real warmth to the whole experience.
Just dropped in to get the fountain pen I returned for a new nib. I got great service and advice through the whole process of the nib replacement.
Really good fountain pens. ...if you know how to still write and not use a keyboard
I was visiting San Francisco for two weeks when I ran out of ink. Being a first time visitor, finding this MontBlanc store was a challenge. Finding parking was frustrating and I had to resort to parking at the curb with the engine running, with my friends waiting in the vehicle. I rushed into the store where I was met by the store manager whose name was Elizabeth. I told her I needed ink cartridges for my Classic MB 144, and asked her for Mystery Black and Royal Blue. She told me she was out of Royal Blue, so I asked for two boxes of Mystery Black. What she did next both surprised and delighted me! She gave me the two boxes of ink cartridges as complimentary gifts, for being a loyal fan of MontBlanc pens. I would definitely do business with this store in the future.
Always love my experience as Montblanc. Great service.
Best experience in my life!

Unfortunately I was not in this shop now, but I found it fascinating that in the period up to November 27th these streets were closed and everything was covered with artificial turf. I cant say what was done there, but the business was involved in this street. I thought it was so great that I had to show it. So calm and no cars. You had a great view of many streets and shops around it.**********************************Unfortunately I was not in this shop now, but I found it fascinating that in the 27th of November these streets were closed and everything was laid out with artificial turf.
