Valencia Whole Foods is an amazing corner store in the city! I come here about once a week since it’s about 15 minutes from home, but I’m more than willing to make the drive each time. I admire Valencia Whole Foods’ goal in keeping the store extra clean and all the products up to date. I especially enjoy going in and seeing some new products, but I do love my oldies just as much. In addition to the cleanliness and variety that Valencia Whole Foods provides, the staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. I believe the owner’s name is Chris—I’m not sure he knows my name, but he definitely sees me around. Chris is very intelligent about the products in his store and is always willing to help me find new things. Overall, Valencia Whole Foods is the place to be! Definitely worth a visit.
You know when you are in a pinch and you need something. This is the place you go.Friendliest staff. CLEAN and CONVENIENT location with fresh organic produces (no meat) and great selections of everyday items like toilet papers to fancy cheese! *Prices are quite high, after all it is on Valencia St.Pro Tip: great mediterranean togo items in the back like tabbouleh, soups, and dolma.
The store seems nice and clean; but I bought a tea drink today and it’s expired one month ago...
Great local store with super friendly staff
Casual spot for casual things. Just good if you need a few pieces.
Great grocery store. Very friendly and tons of healthy options on food and vitamins. You do have to pass a certain limit to use credit card. So cash is king here.
Great selection of organic and natural products, friendly staff
For a small convenience store, they carry a nice variety of products and organic produce. A little pricier than what you can find at your local Trader Joes or Whole Foods, but love that its so convenient. Plus they also carry my favorite Milkman almond coconut milk!
First class, old-school health food store. My favorite salad bar in the neighborhood. A delightfully comprehensive chilled beverage selection. Very kind customer service.
Hipster bodega in the mission. Nice selection for such a compact space, but watch your wallet (prices are high in unexpected ways). Also, check the date on perishables as they are lax in removing product thats past the sell by date.
Valencia Whole Foods is so expensive. More expensive than Whole Foods. But its also so incredibly convenient and I do appreciate their selection of cheeses, kombuchas, ice cream, and other organic options. They have a nice but very limited selection of produce, but no meat.
Bought a little bit of quinoa salad from the salad bar. The cashier tells me its $4.22. I only have $4 in cash and a credit card. Rather than giving out the $.22 he charged me $.60 so I could use my card (min $8). That (most small businesses would give out such a small amount), plus the expensive price overall, plus the expediting tone of the man - says it all to me!
Great neighborhood grocery store, friendly staff and nice selection of organic goods
Not a real Whole Foods (obviously) and feels like even more expensive.
Small stop for organic and fresh food. Salad bar, good bread selection, good yogurt and drink options.
Great local corner store with assortment of necessities and fresh produce.
I went to buy a tomato once here it was $3.46....A tomato.....a single tomato.....one tomato.....was $3.46. Never went back.
Good local market with lots of organic options and friendly staff. Theres a salad and soup bar in the back.
Lots of good vegan options and treats.
❤
