Very cute shop with a lot of great products. The deli was really cute and I was told to get a sandwich there. While the toppings on the sandwich were great, the bread seemed overcooked and was extremely hard and hard to bite into. Other than that I have no complaints for this location. There’s some street parking since it’s on the corner, and the staff was super helpful and nice.

Ran into this place because a friend lives in Glen Park. We got some to go sandwiches and they were spot on. I normally get Dutch crunch bread but they don’t carry it so I got a toasted ciabatta bun with turkey and cheddar. The proportions were spot on and the flavor was great. Because you are in a merry you also have a bunch of options for sides, chips and beverages. I must go to for anything lunch related. Will be going back for sure.

They have fresh, local, organic produce. They have a barista counter, a deli and fresh fish and meat counter, too. If you have special dietary needs, theres a good chance they have something for you (like if you have allergies to things or are adhering to something like gluten free). The Isles can be tight to manuvre, so a wheelchair might have some navigation issues, but they are wheelchair accessible. They also take SNAP (food assistance).

I love my neighborhood grocery store. It’s wonderful for those last minute additions or if you are hosting a night in. The beer and wine selection is great and even the cold drink section is awesome. My 5 year old loves to come here and pick out snacks and drinks crone the vast soup and salad bar to the cold section in front of the deli. The staff is lovely, I have seen the same faces for the past seven years. They have watched my son come in from a carrier to his scooter. Thus place is a little price of home.

I am looking at moving to this neighborhood and dropped by for a sandwich and to look around. I was really impressed by its wine selection, deli, fish market and so much more. Prices were typically high for a specialty market but I found a bag of my favorite snacks at a great sale price, so selectively shopping will probably pay off. Even if I dont move into the neighborhood I will definitely be back.

I wont go back there. I have been going there once a week for a couple of years. Typically, I would spend 50 to 70 dollars each visit. The quality of food is moreon the along the lines of Mollie Stones than Safeway. Unfortunately, I needed to use a restroom. They do not provide restrooms for customers. I didnt have a problem paying $18.63 for a chicken until I realized how little respect they have for their customers.I will not go back

Its pricey but you wont be disappointed by the quality. Great wine, cider and beer selection. Some of the best produce in the city (farmers market selection and quality). The cheese selection is better than the shops in the ferry building. The deli has a great sandwich menu. The only downside is the price but the quality will surpass anything you get from most restaurants in the city and if you keep that in mind, your meals at home will be outstanding and cost a fraction of what you would spend if you when out for dinner. Local tip - even cheaper top quality produce... Union street market (Union and Mason street... Obviously across town, but if youre like me and spend time in multiple areas in the city its a great place to go).

Recently traveled to San Fran for vacation from Miami, Fl. I stayed in the Glen Park neighborhood. The Canyon Market was about .8 miles from my Airbnb making it a convenient walking distance. From the street the market looks extremely warm and inviting. Once you step inside you wont be disappointed. Compared to Whole Foods and Trader Joes, the Canyon Market excelled in prices and quality of food. The best soups Ive ever tasted happened that weekend I walked to the Canyon Market twice a day. Also breakfast is superb. The three females who are constant stables of the breakfast bar were friendly, attentive and absolutely pleasant. The eating area is small, however its very welcoming. I would recommend anyone to stop by. Guarantee youll fall in love.

Not everything, but most items are expensive. Still for a smallish, neighborhood supermarket their selection is fantastic--wines all tending to be under $50, prepared food case, cheeses, meats, etc. Very friendly, there is also an excellent cafe and deserts inside with a few tables outside. They also have about monthly wine tastings themed, a dollar a pour, you can get on their mailing list. When the lines are long, they are long but move quickly.

Great little place for high quality food. Its a bit too pricey for all of your grocery needs (or at least mine), but its great for its seafood and meat counter. Produce is a little high, but good quality. They also have great made-to-order sandwiches and a great bakery. This is more of a boutique grocery store, so if youre looking for a specific item that you cant find at your local Safeway, you can usually find it here - just be prepared to pay an premium for it.
