I know the pandemic is affecting everyone; however, I stopped patronizing this establishment after repeated visits resulted in sales of days-old product misrepresented as fresh, for the same price as fresh.
Food was super flavorful. It has a good interior. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.
Nice place to meet and catch up with family. The service here is above par. Prices that wont shock you.
Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. service is typically good. prices were average for the menu. wish it was closer to my house, i would come every week.
The food was amazing. definitely worth going back to. this place has many good reviews for a reason.
Donuts were all good. Had the Curry Chicken Rice to go - surprisingly good.
I like 🍩 here. You need to arrive early to find them fresh
Great hospitality. not close to my job, i wish it was.
You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. Looking forward to going back again. The bill wont break you.
Its good but they do take a while to get your food. The bhan mi is just ok but the pho is where its at really. Its a catch all place with donuts in the morning but not after 11, so get there early.
They had nearly no donuts for sale when I went in the morning. Talked to a guy who ignored me or didnt seem to understand when I said I wanted the 1 dozen deal. I asked which were included and he just pointed and asked which ones I want. Halfway through, I asked again and he said there wouldnt be enough to fill a dozen box. Ended up just leaving.Also.. seriously .. cash only ? At least have a credit card minimum.
Got there about one, it wasnt busy. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.
Hardly any donuts at 9am and cash only. there are better places in the city. I didnt buy as I didnt have cash and the donuts didnt even look that good
Super friendly and generous staff, best and only spot for good donuts in Financial District
This appears to be primarily a donut shop, but I got a sandwich instead and liked it. I just tried this place for the first time, and the combination tofu and veggie ham Vietnamese sandwich is very tasty. The bánh mì tasted fresh and had a nice crust without being too chewy.
Nothing but great experiences here. The prices are well within reason for the quality. I can see why they have so many reviews.
Not So Happy Donut Factory. Im now being made fun of by my office for being swindled by a donut man.Without thinking about price (because theyre donuts), I ordered a dozen. The donut swindler rang it up and told me $24.50. Not sure if I heard him right, I looked up for the first time at the display with the prices. Donuts read $1.05, $10.50 for a dozen. I scanned the whole display and see that the most expensive donut is $1.60. I asked him where he got the price and he says the glazed are $1.05, but the rest are more. I bought four glazed, so the rest of the donuts were over $2.50. Last time I checked, that doesnt equal $1.60. Maybe his math is better than mine because of been out of school for a bit, but probably not. I went to the math olympics in the 2nd grade.
Honestly my favorite evening place. Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back.
Real banh mi enthusiasts know to hit up happy donut
I enjoy going here and the staff are extremely courteous:)
This review is based on the banh mi that I got a couple days back. I havent tried anything else here (doubt I will be back, tbh).Got the BBQ chicken banh mi, for lunch. The order took a while (about 10 ish minutes), but the place was a little busy and there were only two people running the entire thing, so I can kinda forgive that. But the banh mi itself was pretty bad. Im not a banh mi connoisseur by a mile, but Ive had a fair bit of them, and this was certainly the worst Ive had. The meat was flavorless and rubbery (Ill attach a photo of what it looked like). It has probably been in the fridge/freezer for ages. The only flavor I could taste was some kinda fake crab meaty taste (I think its from the mayo and whatever sauce they were using). I couldnt even eat the entire thing. The bread was alright though. So yeah, if you find yourself there, maybe stick to non banh mi items from the menu. The place IS pretty cheap, and now accept credit cards and mobile payments.
It doesnt exist anymore.
Delicious donuts and friendly staff. Cheap, too! One of my go-to breakfast spots.
Could not find. No signs or out of business.
Food was so appetizing.
Amazing donuts. So fluffy and delicious.
Tasty donuts and Vietnamese food, good value.
Great place for a banh mi or soup
