This is an amazing experience for both my daughter and I. Everything is so unique and customized. Angela, our custom colorist shared her experience and knowledge not only with lipsticks but with make up. What to use, what to stay away. We got the custom color session this time but my daughter is super motivated to go back for a bespoke session where you can blend pigments to make your color completely yours and have the data stored at Bite library.

So much fun! Dont book anything after this as, no fault of the girls that work there, 30 minutes is not enough time and they seem that they are always running late. I still think that it was worth it.

I came to San Francisco last week (traveled over 100 miles) for the sole purpose of going to Lip Lab. I went to Lip Lab for the very first time with my best friend and we really enjoyed our experience. Angela was very patient and friendly when she guided us through the steps of making our own lipsticks. I feel like a lipstick expert now because of her! I had an amazing experience here and I cant wait to come back in the future.

Gracie & Amanda were so adorably awesome!! Great gals that made us feel so welcomed and kept us busy the whole night.Amanda catered to my needs and was spot on with her color matchings!! It was pure magic!! I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful they were to our group of 4. They knew exactly what they were doing. They knew what to emphasize and answered all my questions and cleared all my doubts. They were so wonderfully sweet. They even stayed over time to help us wrap up our colors. We had so much fun, that we didnt realize we stayed past closingPlease book an appointment with them if you can! You wont be disappointed with their expertise. I cant wait to come back!!

Making my lipstick was so much fun! My mom and I enjoyed ourselves very much creating and customizing our formulas and everyone working there is nice and knowledgeable! If you like makeup, lipstick, or are just looking for a creative experience its a must go!

I scheduled a same day appointment on a Thursday to get bespoke lipsticks before an interview. Lip Lab tends to be more walk-in friendly during the week and appointment required on the weekend.Tina welcomed me in, offered water, and walked me through the process. We started with what I was broadly looking for, lip exfoliation, an agave lip mask, and a lip primer. She then mixed up my first option to try on and handed me a selfie light to borrow for my phone. Rinse and repeat mixing as I gave her feedback on what I was hoping for in the shade, what I wanted to change.Bring example photos! They help unless youre comfortable with color theory.All in all, Id 100% do this again because the EXPERIENCE and the products were fantastic.

It’s totally not worth it at all... They need to incorporate there customers and let them be more involved with making the lipstick.. You just sit there and pick colors while the instructor do all the work.. TOTALLY not WORTH $60 at all.. Needs to improve there workshop...
