24 hour Walgreens. Selection for everything from over the counter medicine, grocery items, candies, beauty, health and household items, seasonal goods (summer flip flops), grocery items (snacks, etc.), touristy gifts was pretty good. I use this Walgreens whenever Im in town. Well staffed and there on the ball here.PS: Went back to buy yogurt and they even gave me free spoons for it. Bumped up to five stars.

This store is very close to me and I visit frequently. The service is very good most of the time, especially compared to almost every other Walgreens I have ever been to. This is also a very, very busy Walgreens that always has long lines.. that considered, they move things along nicely.

I do like that the store itself (not pharmacy) is open 24 hours a day. Its a convenient location especially is youre downtown. The times I did come here it seemed like always a wait in line and someone near the door bumming for change.

This is my favorite walgreens in the city. It is very nice and even has 2 stories. Its busy most of the time because its in the center of downtown. There are always a lot of tourists in this store. They have a redbox machine which is awesome. And they always carry a good supply of ice cream!

Updating my review, after they get to know you, and recognize you, they treat you quite well.I guess they just get a tremendous amount of random tourist traffic and this makes it a pretty tough job for them.

This location is open 24 hours and offers immunizations, have a cafe for quick lunch grabs, one hour photo service, and you can pick up items you order off their website ahead of time. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, 8am-9pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-6pm.

Huge Walgreens, it has a lot more than your typical Walgreens. I usually stop here any time I am in Union Square.

Apparently, Walgreens has implemented a customer experience improvement program, if not company-wide, at least in this store, according to insider information described to me by a staff member who knows me and thought I would find it interesting. All I can say is that it works! Even the most formerly recalcitrant employee has become an enthusiastic company advocate, anxious to demonstrate the kind of customer service we used to expect a couple of decades ago from high-end department stores. The upstairs staff could learn a few things from the downstairs staff who are decidedly friendlier and smile more and who even anticipate your needs by asking you before you ask them. Also to this two-story stores appeal, if you dont already know, is that the ground level is open 24 hours. Thats where all the food is, so if youre craving an after hours nosh, this is one of the only places in the whole city where you can find it. My rating would have been 5 stars if they hadnt changed vendors for their salads, sandwiches, and fresh fruit bowls. The new versions are decidedly inferior to the former ones and the ingredients are clearly bargain basement quality. The Asian chicken and veggie rice dinner is a dismal imitation of the real thing and that seaweed salad (and I normally dote on seaweed) is a rubbery disaster. Love the hard-boiled eggs and someone finally noticed you were always selling out of all the Java Monster Loca Moca and are keeping them stocked. (That was my fault; I buy eight of those a week.) The boutique bakery goods are worth every cent of their extravagant price tags but why, dear Walgreens, would you stop carrying those delicious tiramisus, flans, and chocolate cakes, not just here but in all your stores? Yes, the Nice brand danish were pure junk, but I developed an addiction for the Honey Buns, disgusting and wonderful at the same time. Yummy, and now gone. Why? And cutting off the only known supply of specialty cakes (especially the mocha cupcakes) from Just Desserts simply adds insult to injury. As an unofficial representative of the majority of your devoted customers, I demand you bring everything back. Thank you.

This place was remodelled recently. It was transformed from a ghetto so-so walgreens to an all in one multi level state of the art store with the 1st floor dedicated for food and the 2nd floor for pharmacy & everything else. Now you can get fresh salad, froyo, softies, chips, candies, drinks (even liquour) all to your hearts content. The 1st floor has about 10 checkout counters but lines still get long and wait times can go upto 10-15 minutes during rush hours. The staff is very helpful and prices are decent for everything in the store. This is not the only Walgreens around but this is the place you want to go to if you want to pick up food, salads, ice cream, etc.
