Mabel is an amazing esthetician! I have come twice for her to do my eyebrow tint and wax and it always looks very nice and sharp. I like to have a more stained on look where the tint appears to be there for more than three or four days. It makes it look like I have makeup on when I just have my tint and it always looks like a fresh look from the Brow Bar. Thanks Mabel!!

Leah was the BEST!!! Nothing better than a great person to make an experience. She was so fun. She got my brows back into shape and I am so in love with the results. She also helped me find the best products for what I needed, and answered all my questions. 10/10 would recommend.

I had my eyelashes tinted! Auri, Mabel and Michelle were kind and very professional. I went in for brow tinting and wax. They asked if I’d like eyelash tinting and I never knew that was even a thing. I’m so glad they mentioned it to me because I have lashes now!!! Very happy with my visit. I will be back!

She’s highly skilled, efficient, and professional. She manages to make waxing a pleasant experience. The bonus is that she is also fantastic to talk with!

Benefit Chesnut website never works nor do they answer the phone. It is such a bummer as I love coming here to get my eyebrows done and pick up make up. Their webpage does not work and every time I call they never answer or it goes to voicemail. Of all the Benefits I have been to this one has so much potential and a great location, the service overall is sub par.

I get my brows waxed about once a year. Benefit is always quick, professional and lovely. The environment is cute and clean and the services I’ve had are always well done.

Dealing with un-fun-ness of pandemic- took my teenage daughter out for some fun. The staff treated us great, helped us find good stuff, and kept us smiling.

Eye brow shaping and waxing - amazing! Especially Maya!!Brazilian waxing - not good. The girl kept going over the same area several times (ouch) and still didn’t get all of the hair. I left feeling burned and sore. It costs $59 plus tip and at that price I expected to leave completely clean and hairless but not the case. Girls definitely need more training.

Did not have a great experience here - needed an eyebrow wax and I know Benefit takes walk-ins, and since I was taking the bus I didn’t want to make an appointment in case the bus was running late. I even checked online to see their availability for the day and they had open appointment times all day long, so I thought being a walk in would be totally fine.From the moment I walked in I felt ignored and like a bother. I asked if they took walk ins, the employee (who was doing makeup or something on a customer) said yes, and I said I wanted an eyebrow wax. All she said was “okay”. A few minutes later she tells me to sign myself in on the iPad, so I do. I stand around waiting and another employee comes and asks if I’m waiting for a service and I say yes and that I signed myself in on the iPad, and she said (rudely) “well you need to talk to us if that’s what you want”. ?? Seems like communication is lacking between employees. The woman that did my eyebrows was actually very nice and I thought she did a good job until I got home and looked in better lighting, only to see that it looked like I didn’t get a wax whatsoever. It’s not even a week later and I already need another wax.. usually I wait a month.Also, the same woman who did my brows recommended me a foundation and since I was in the market for a new foundation I decided to buy it. She also told me she’d throw in a bunch of samples with my purchase but had another client to wax so couldn’t check me out. She told the same woman from the beginning to make sure to give me samples, which she didn’t. I don’t even care about the samples but just the fact that she didn’t give me them goes to show the type of customer service I was given.Overall did not have a great experience here and will not be returning. Also the foundation made me break out in hives (not the employees fault, i know) and I don’t have sensitive skin.

I always get a mixed experience here at the Sutter location. Sometimes excellent and sometime not so great. My wax appt was great, but the next day I went back and the woman chexking in was super rude. I asked to use restroom and was told they arent for the public.: I repllied, I am a customer, not the public and the girl replied, they are not forbbn public use, you can try banana republic. So, I am dropping money at Benefit and tthey wont let me use their restroom, but they want me to use Bananas when I am not actually spending money at their store, or their customer that day. The rule makes no sense what so ever in relation to covid protocol when you consider the services being offered and given. After being a loyal customer for years, I was completely offended, canceled my treatment on the spot, and will not go back.

I get my eyelashes tinted at benefit monthly. I was really dissipated with my experience last time I had an appointment at this location:/ The person who did my tint didnt leave it on long enough and didnt cover all of my lashes. it lasted about a week before my lashes were blonde again! I usually love benefit but this experience made me worried about wasting my money on a mediocre lash tint.

Great place to go to get your waxing needs taken care of. They do everything from bikini to eyebrows. The store is clean, and the girls are all nice. And Ive never left having any blood blisters which I get when the estatation isnt as experienced.

I came in with some skin concerns. I was hoping to buy some skincare products and some makeup while in SF for work. These girls were not helpful at all. I felt I was being ignored. For a Flag Store, they need to retrain for better customer service skills. I feel so bad that I left without buying anything.

Gotta love Benefit. Fresh, clean makeup, awesome services, amazing staff. Without them, your typical Marina girl would be drab, shiny and hairy. Thanks for keeping us pretty, Benefit!

Booked an appointment with Suzette. She did an awesome job with my brows and showed me exactly what she was going to do before she waxed! As a first time client I was very pleased! The only thing that I wasnt a fan of was the lady that helped fill my brows afterwards. She did a poor job and seemed to be more worried about getting me out of the chair than actually spending time to make sure I had the right products. Overall though my experience was good and I would definitely book with Suzette again.

Been many times. Friendly staff, but always so busy I usually have a hard time getting in. Was calling for an appointment in advance and no one was around to answer the phones (for days!) Finally got through and they couldnt take me on any of the times needed bc they were booked out, which is not unusual. If the demand is there, perhaps management could retribution staffing assignments.

How are those girls so psychic? they knew just the blush i needed to brighten my day.
