We picked up half a roast duck from here after being offered half a carcass of a duck from hing long nearby (no thanks). Was a little skeptical as the prices at sun sang are very low - only $8 something for half a duck? But at least their ducks look much meatier than hing long so decided to give them a try. It was tasty and well-seasoned and they gave us a little container of duck juice (great over rice)

There were a lot of people when I visited the store. The BBQ is tastes.

We got ripped off! We were walking by and saw some good-looking roasted duck in the window. When we got home (across the Bay) we found that the package had more neck and leg pieces than would normally come from one duck, and not enough of the breast parts. And by the way, my friend is from Hong Kong, and she told me they do this to people who are not regular customers.

This Mengla shop is very unfair and should not be patronized. It looks like a good roast, $15 has a whole roast duck, so I know that I can buy it and open it. There are only half-breasted ducks, the rest are neck and butt, and many of them are fat. This store is a impassion for me to be a passer-by and not to go back and help.
