This place is the best! True old school butcher. Great prices. In the day I lived in a big shared house all of us were great cooks. One guy was our BBQ King. A big party coming up, Im headed to the Dirty Butcher. Our inside joke after a visiting friend had never been to buy meet that was not all wrapped.

Great selection, good prices, decent quality. Huge selection of both meat and seafood. Seafood has everything from cut to order tuna steaks to shrimp and scallops to whole fish and octopus. Meat department has most cuts of beef, pork and chicken. Staff is helpful and accommodating.

I absolutely love the freshness of the meat and the customer service is outstanding! Its a good place all across the board. They def dot their insane cross their taste for sure.

Oh yes, best place for crabs and shrimp! Their prices are low and the quality is just great. Their other items such as beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and fish are just as awesome.Im only giving them a review because the workers were so nice to help us out all the way from picking the crabs and cutting and cleaning them.Well, the end result was just great. Ask my son, he loves my gumbo! And yes, I got all the ingredients from these guys.

Great fish monger, wide selection and far superior quality of fish than at the super markets. Worth the effort for us even though its far from where we live.

Great value! I travel into the Mission monthly just to come here and get a meat bundle that will sustain my wife and I until I come back again. All for around $70. And we eat damn good for that! Fresh seafood, all cuts of pretty much any grade. But what gets me going back is the bacon and bacon ends! I might have to slow up on that according to the doctor but its going to be hard knowing Im passing up this value!

I was craving for some ceviche and I dropped by this local market located on the heart of the mission district. I was surprised by the variety of meat that they offer at the store. Plus, the amazing attention I received from the employees, very kind and knowledgeable about the products I was looking for, and they speak Spanish as well.In addition, they offer great choices of spices to ease the seasoning/preparation of the meal I was craving for. Will definitely come back again!

High quality meat and a great selection of cuts (especially the ones most Americans dont usually buy)! Really good prices, too; this is a legit butcher that isnt charging hipster prices. Communicating in English can be tough depending on whos available; Spanish or Chinese will serve you well.

Is this a great local seafood and meat market? my answer is YES. I found this place through my coworkers. I just had a big birthday party for my moms 60. I bought a variety of poultry, carne asada meat, two big bags of oysters, 20 live crabs (the guy killed the crabs and cleaned them for me with no extra cost), 2 pack of mild beef links, and salmon fillet. I spent little money and I got a lot of stuff. The most important was the meat quality was great. Everyone left the party full and happy. I definitely come back! This place is better than Safeway.

I had a wonderful experience at this market. Here is why:Two weeks ago, I was stress out about my daughters sweet 16. I needed to host 80-100 guests. I went to Safeway and other markets to compare the quality of meat and price. I ended up buying at this meat market because It was recommended by a church member on Mission st. I went in and I bought 20 lbs of chicken legs, 20 of chicken wings, 20 lbs of short ribs BBQ cuts, 20 lbs of ribeye (custom thin slice), 20 lbs lamb chop, 15 lbs of tilapia fish, a 50 lbs bag of jasmine rice, BBQ sauce and condiments. End up spending only $644.34 feeding 100 guests. After party, I had a pretty left over. I brought the food to feed the church people.

The butcher shop where I buy my meat is super friendly, before I didnt care to go there because I thought they wouldnt understand me until a lady told me “Mah they even speak Arabic mija” which was true hahaha, they are beautiful anyway;What made me very funny today is that I wanted to ask them for some meat to prepare chicharrones do you have pork belly, for chicharrones to which they answered me ah pancetta! If we have pancetta! For the chicharrones and with that you can make chichalon without hair Chichalon without hair 🎶 in Spanish hahahaha they made me the afternoon 🤣Greetings from San Francisco CA ✌🏻

This is my favorite place to buy meat and seafood for my restaurant. I have been buying with them for several years and recently in 2016, the owners changed. Now the service has been better than before. The owners are a Chinese family that came from Venezuela. It is a very nice family and you can see that they take great care of their products and customers. The best thing about them is that they always do a good job at a very reasonable cost. Also, they speak Spanish very well.Here is a picture of the family on Halloween.
