Wow!! What a fantastic health store in Cole Valley!!! What a hidden secret!! Walking past this place many many times I thought it was just a regular Rx pharmacy like all the rest....NO this place is not like the rest! It’s supplement heaven!! With a holistic Rx pharmacy! Great range of specialist supplements!! Great range of herbal supplements! Amazing deals, cheaper than WholeFoods! Huge brand range too!! Chilled out atmosphere!

Awesome staff, good selection of natural and other products + great pharmacy.

Just tried to get in touch with them by phone to ask some questions about delivery costs for prescriptions and twice got voice mail at the pharmacy extension. Tried the Associate or Manager extension and got a message that their voice mail was full. That was a first at a pharmacy. Weirdly understaffed.

Youll never want to go to a Walgreens or CVS again.

I went to this Pharmaca for the first time by chance looking for help to treat a few minor ailments with lots of questions, and an already decent knowledge base. I am so grateful John was working that day, and for his knowledge and time during my visit, which lasted a while. He patiently helped me hone in on what I was looking for, offering guidance and suggestions based on my needs. Not pretending to give me medical advice or particularly trying to sell me anything, just making informed suggestions based on his knowledge and personal experience and what I was saying. It was just what I needed. I got few quality products that are working well. I dont know John personally, but his kind, friendly support, knowledge and empathy made me wish I did!

As a long time customer, still appreciate some of the harder to find products available at this location.

One star for front of house staff being friendly. I’d like to give zero stars for the pharmacy staff, one in particular. She convinced us to switch by promising to always have our regular medication in stock. It wasn’t. She must be in HIPAA violation by loudly shouting about patients’ prescriptions and confidential information to the point where it can be heard at the front of the store. She consistently ignored patients waiting for services only she could provide by having conversations of a clearly personal nature with other patients on the floor. When we approached Pharmaca corporate about this unprofessional behavior, they promised action but failed to deliver. Caveat emptor to all who consider switching to this “village” pharmacy. You won’t feel as though you’re going to your friendly neighborhood pharmacy. You will feel ignored, belittled, and patronized.

Super wide selection of drugs and skincare products. Staff is especially helpful, and price point is reasonable. Probably one of the few places that you can find the brand, Paulas Choice - the girlfriend is very much bought into the brand of skincare product.

I browsed Pharmaca yesterday while walking off my lunch and coffee. It has the vibe of a Cole Valley boutique, although its part of a chain with other stores in California. When I went, a happy lady was enjoying foot reflexology in a back aisle. There was an impressive selection of vitamins and beauty products. I noticed that their on-line sale prices (and they almost always are having some kind of sale) for homeopathic remedies are higher that everyday retail prices for the same products (Boiron tubes, for example) at Rainbow.

A quiet respite from busy Cole Street... Go in to relax and browse-- Good selection of regular drug store items from toothbrush to pain relief---and Health & Wellness produrts like yoga mats, cushions, scents & oils. All this with a full pharmacy in the back of the store. Plentiful staff with excellent product knowledge-- something you typically dont find at Walgreens. And they leave you alone if youre just browsing-- but the moment you give the impression you need help, they are moments away. Very friendly.Prices are a little bit higher than Walgreens for non-pharmacy items, which is why 4 stars and not 5. However, you see where thats going--- to the knowledgeable staff

I like to go there to buy something, always has on sale. the price alway cherper than other store. the service is very good. the people is very nice. the place is very convernicen for me.
