I had the best experience with Metric Motors. They were able to replace my parts all in one day. Joel was extremely professional, and I mentioned that I needed to replace a rear tire due to a screw I saw. They looked at it and turns out it didn’t even penetrate the tire. They saved me from spending money on a tire that I didn’t even need. I absolutely love this place and they are my forever mechanics to my Benz. I highly recommend them. Joel and Jose are pleasant to talk to and they listened to what my concern was with my car. First time I go to this place and so far my car is running good after getting fixed. They get very busy so depending the problem it might take longer as expected.

These guys know what they are doing, and will not rip you off. In fact, I dont think they charge enough for the level of service provided. They diagnosed my Mini turbo and quoted a price 1/5 what the dealer wanted for the same job. I wish I had found them years ago.

Joel and his team are the absolute best. Im so glad I found them when I moved back to SF. I finally found a decent repair shop with a rad service advisor in SoCal when I had to move back to SF (Thanks Covid). I was worried I wouldnt find anyone honest or well priced in the area. Thankfully after having a few convos with places in the area I decided on Metric Motors. Joel and the team were able to help diagnose the complicated problem with my car and give me an honest quote of what I should absolutely fix and other problems I could maybe wait a few months on. Surprisingly, money has yet to grow on trees so I cant fix everything all at once. I HIGHLY recommend this shop! Ive been back a few times for maintenance and the team has done solid work on my car and even gotten it back to me the same day. Theyre really nice people.

One of the best if not the best independent European garage Ive ever done business with. Honest, friendly, and experts at their craft, Ive gone back multiple times now because I trust them with my car. I have an E39 M5, and most shops either want to gouge me or dont know what theyre doing.The only potential drawback is they are pretty busy (always a good sign for an Indy), but if you want quality service at reasonable prices, look no further.

The Real Deal... trustworthy mechanics!

I have a 2011 Audi A3.I rarely write reviews but was absolutely floored by these guys. The service and quality of this shop is second to none - I honestly don’t believe any of the 1 star reviews, must be competition.I first went in 5 months ago for an oil change that was fair price to say the least but it was done within an hour and Joel was the friendliest mechanic I’ve ever met (I know that’s not saying much, but trust me). Also worth noting is that the first person I interacted with had special needs and he told me that Joel had hired him on for 15-20 hours a week to help around the shop - at this point I was committed to the shop.I’ve been back twice for complications with my car and the service has always been super friendly and prompt, and the price is on the cheaper side - especially for SF.I’ve worked in construction my whole life and deal with shops and mechanics on a regular basis. This isn’t your everyday shop. I couldn’t recommend more!

These guys do a honest and great job.They took great care of my Porsche 911, I saw how they treated my car in a great way.They gave great service, and didnt charge for many of the things theyve done. They really are very honest, and value great service.From now on they are my go-to :)

Tachometer went out on my 89 Speedster. After three weeks and a rebuild car was returned to me with no explanation of the damage done to other electrical instruments. 6 weeks later after sourcing the parts I was able to get the instruments back in working order. My estimate is that Metric Motors did about $850 damage to my car. The worst!

These guys took care of my M5 after the dealer wanted 5x more for the repair. They are friendly, fast, and know what they are talking about. Andy, the owner, walked me through the check engine light issue on my car, showed me pictures of the part that failed, and explained why the repair would take as long as it did. Owning an M car I expect any performance related parts on the car to cost big money, but Andy literally gave me an estimate that was 1/5 what SF BMW gave me, and when the job was done he knocked an additional $30 off because they only bill for the time they take to do the job. Great place with a great owner, I will be going back.

Fantastic service.I had a service light on for my 2002 mini cooper. They looked into the root cause and realized that there was no issue. They looked into my car and checked its tires, oil and everything. They realized that everything was good.Eventually, they did not charge me and built a trust relationship with me. The team was super friendly and helpful.Id refer this place to anyone and will definitely bring my car back when I have an issue. I highly recommend.

This is the best place to get your German car worked on. Hourly rates overall less than the dealership but possibly more than some of the other small shops but theyre top notch and have integrity... which is rare in the auto repair industry it seems.

What can I say to add to the myriad of great reviews? Another happy customer, no doubt! I had called ahead to schedule my Mercedes Service B, and was surprised that Rob quoted me the price for a Service A, and explained that essentially the 2 services were the same and involved an oil change and inspections. I was a little dubious since other places had different prices for the 2 services (with B being much more expensive), but took my car in anyway trusting in all the other positive reviews. I didnt need to have worried, as Tom was awesome and explained everything and what he recommended for my car, and the final charge was in fact what he quoted me! Ive definitely found my new go-to car place!

Tom (the owner) gave me tons of advice and gave me all kinds of helpful directions on what to next on my situation. Oh and Rob gave me a piece of delicious chocolate cake! Tom is the best mechanic in town if you have a not-super-brand-new German car youre trying to keep in top shape. Absolutely trust this shop with everything; they are honest, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and really nice people.

They provide great customer service. They follow-up with a courtesy call after a visit. If there is a problem they have you straight back in there and they even fixed a minor related problem for free as part of the work they guarantee.
