Found this shop searching, yarn shops near me, and made the drive. Found a very nice co-owner restocking and she was personable and gave me a tour. I bought two skeins of gorgeous wool and plan to return for embroidery and cross stitch kits! Plus, they have a fabric bolt room for quilters and other sewing projects. Great shop! Thanks!

Well designed and organized store, very cute aesthetic, wonderfully knowledgeable owners who spent a ton of time answering my questions and helping me pick out just the right needles! Great variety in tools and yarn/fabric. Fabric section mostly for quilting. Will definitely be back!!

I love the staff here as they are super friendly and knowledgeable!! WabiSabi Weaving has also moved locations to here and Needlecraft Cottage sells not only knitting yarn, but also weaving yarn, embroidery yarn, fabric, and all kinds of accessories. I had such a great time here that this is going to be my go to yarn shop in San Diego!

Went in today for help with a problem on a afghan I am working on and the owner was so helpful. The store is darling and has a nice selection of beautiful yarn. They also have a room full of fabric for quilting. Looking forward to going back.

The man who works there (I believe he is the owner) is wonderful! Very helpful, talkative, and just 100% genuine. If youre looking for a knitting/crocheting community, there is an event calendar in the center of the store that can help you connect with others!

My husband and I stopped in for some souvenir yarn and were carried away by the charm of the place. There is a good selection of hand dyed yarn and the owner is very friendly and helpful! If I am ever in the area again I will be sure to stop in!

The store may say needlecraft but youll find plenty of yarn to satisfy knitters and crocheters. There is a small parking lot in the front and the inside has several rooms showcasing different yarns and projects. Owner was nice and helpful to my mother-in-law looking for local yarn.

I am a beginner and the shop keeper was so helpful to guide decisions for purchase. The shop offers classes and individual lessons too.

Stopped in here while in town on vacation to browse. Found a bunch of yarn that I havent been able to find anywhere else. Liz was an amazing help both with finding what we were looking for and with answering the questions we had.

Cute store within sight of the ocean! Came in while on vacation to look around, left with plenty of new projects to do for the next couple months! Liz was awesome, answered all of our many questions and guided us around to the various corners of the store.

This is a great yarn shop! Last week I needed help with a knitting project and Liz showed me the technique and I was able to learn and knit right there in the store. I had forgotten my pattern so I logged onto Ravelry and together we saw my pattern and was able to continue. Hands on training from Liz, while she was still helping other customers. Fantastic!All you have to do is look around the shop and see all the many projects she has made. Wow, she is talented! I am lucky to have such a great store for all my yarn needs and a place to learn, too.

This place was really cute inside! They had such a variety of crafts and so much yarn in so many beautiful colors it was just an experience alone to walk around inside the store. You can tell the quality of yarn she carries is much nicer than most of the chain stores and I myself had never done needle point only cross stitch so I bought a little change purse to create myself and really did enjoy it. Took me a few days and she even told me if I got into any trouble with it to bring it in and she would help me get through any rough spots. It was all pretty easy and fun and next time I feel crafty I will definitely head over here and see what else this store has for me to create!

Wonderful shop with great selections and helpful staff! It was a pleasure to visit while on vacation! I love the La Jolla Yarn I bought and the colorways are gorgeous!

I went in to get some help with a project and the woman helping me was so rude. I told her that I was a total novice knitter and tried to explain my issue and she kept saying, “Don’t waste your time with stories. What’s the problem?” I tried to tell her my issue and she told me that I would either have to “deal with it” or rip out the stitches. She proceeded to use very technical terms (completely ignoring that I am a beginner) and ripped out my stitches. I don’t have the experience with knitting to know how to fix it and she told me, “I’ve shown you how to do it.” In a very condescending voice she said, “I believe in you.” She finished by telling me that if I wanted to get the kind of help that I came in for, I could come back later and pay someone to do it. I would have appreciated having that information BEFORE she ripped out my stitches and left my project in a way that I don’t know how to fix. She was extremely rude and unhelpful.
