Was not sure at first looked like a dive bar but lets give it a shot. Friendly service and quick. The beer was good cold and my Philly cheese steak was amazing. I eat Philly cheese steaks almost everywhere and this was up there. Great find if you just flew into the city and you want a beer and something to eat. Cant go wrong with this place.

Large beer selection and standard menu bar fare. Food was great but greasy. Staff was super friendly.They had a Dog Show playing on a TV next to baseball which was a huge plus for me. Two of my favorite things.

Order fries at 8pm. Bartender says the kitchen closed. Bartender drinking with her friends at the bar. 30 minutes later the bartender gives her friends fries. At least the game was on.

Evidently most tourists venture here as it was one of the spots featured on Threes Company. None of us knew that until our Lyft driver mentioned it. We went there to get Russian Rivers Pliney the Elder. Being from Michigan, it was great to finally try this.The bar might be considered a bit of a dive bar as the seating is uncomfortable and its an older place. Service was friendly though and the tap list, even besides the Pliney, was pretty good.

For me this place is a hidden gem!! An AWESOME selection of beers and some of thee tastiest lemon/pepper wings that I have ever had!! Nice clientele that populate the place plus they have really cool staff working their.

The Regal Beagle is not only a beer sanctuary but a phenomenal place to go for dinner or lunch. While there will be beers on tap you naturally dont like, there is no food item on the menu that isnt great. When ordering their wings, ask for Sal style, its a blend of the dry rubs with some drizzle of hot and Thai style and theyre phenomenal. The bar tenders and owners are all people you wish were your friends because they dont take shi* and they can dish it just as well as anyone with great sense of humor. Alright my treatise of love to this place must end eventually but youll see me there weekly.

Nice, clean brewery. Tasty appetizers. While they did have high chairs for kiddos, they only have 1 table too low enough to use it inside. All others are high top tables. There werent boosters for the high top chairs, so isnt really baby/toddler friendly... but its also a brewery, so... take that as you might.

Came here our first night of trivia. We had a blast, great staff and great beer. Quirky little spot to play trivia, get decent food or just drink. Btw we came in 1st place so watch out.

Great tap list with 24 different beers on tap, especially heavy on the local craft selections. Love to spin the wheel for a chance at a free beer, too. Trivia on Wednesday brings a fun crowd, and a great host. The bar food is a plus, too.

A clean and inviting environment, the Regal Beagle is a cozy bar that provides a supple supply of locally crafted beer. Their menu is a mixture of American and German Fairs, which attracted me tonight, and orders are called using playful names. The staff, Eli, is knowledgeable of his craft and is easy to talk to akin to Sam Malone from cheers. Overall, the Beagle is a great neighborhood bar that one should try for an intimate experience with their food and beer.

Always have great food and beer. The wings are amazing and the names of the order tickets are hilarious! Love coming to the regal beagle!

Mac and cheese bites are epic

We enjoy coming here because of the large beers on tap and awesome tater tots. Its nice to watch some sports or just hang out and even tho its pretty dark inside theres a nice patio area if you want to bring dogs.

Very good location for local craft beers, with a stunning variety of flavors. Ashley chooses the beer menu, and does a phenomenal job including many different varietals. Looks like a mostly local crowd hangs here, with occasional beer aficionados like me dropping in. The only reason I wouldnt give 5 stars is that their kitchen closes early, a few hours before they close. The food menu looked okay, and I would have tried one of the small bites. The best beer I had here was a sweet Coconut Vanilla Macaroon barrel-aged Porter made by the Bruery, 13.0% ABV and perfectly balanced. Highly recommended when by the airport.

I almost went 3 since its such a dive, but then again you probably wouldnt come here if you werent looking for a dive. Seemed to be mostly regulars, which is cool. Great staff, sausages are on point, plenty of craft beer to choose from.

This place has an awesome selection of beer (24 on tap when I went!) and great food (mini hot dogs! giant pretzel!) to go along with it. The bartenders are super friendly and are willing to let you taste a beer before you order it. They have weekly specials and the occasional trivia night! Ill definitely be coming back here.

Surprised by this hole-in-the-wall! In what looks like a strip mall is a small, stylish bar with (my friends tell me) a great beer selection. The food is good and reasonably priced. I will return!

Have been coming here since they opened. It was only yesterday, during the 5 year anniversary that I realized I had not reviewed the spot. Never disappointing. They have a broad selection of local craft beer that will satisfy pretty much any beer style cravings. The food is very good too. How can you go wrong with craft beer and craft sausages. The mini corn dogs are quite good too.

Great beer selection and I love the atmosphere. They give you the name of classic TV characters for your food call instead of numbers. Good trivia night and the beer wheel is awesome. Food is decent with sausages, sweet potato fries, and baby corn dogs being my favorites.

Craft beer and bar food done right. Little heavy on the Siracha phase thats going around for my taste. The corn dogs were great and the beer selection is vast. Whats nice here is there is a little parking lot, so you dont have to be stuck with street parking alone. Come early though, it fills up.

Awesome Ale House. The Philly steak sandwich was delish, the open air vibe and chi is a San Diego classic... Right next to historic El Indio, minutes from little Italy. Totally chill.The Bartender was very cool.

The Beagle has been around forever in the San Diego beer scene. They have special reserve beer events and some type of something going on every night.To top all of this off they make some bomb food. The wings are famous here to the locals and imo blow away any other beer and wings combo anywhere. If that isnt enough they make their own in house sausages (chicken diablo, lamb and pork) to pair with your favorite beer.The bartenders are always on point and dont forget to say hello to the boys in the kitchen.

Place is the bomb if you want fresh San Diego or California beers! Parking can be a challenge but worth it. Get the Mac n Cheese bites or corn dogs. Monday corn dogs are 4 for a buck!!
