Hello,I placed an order about a week ago with Quality online for a bottle of absinthe that I cant get in Ohio..different areas get different types.. the price was very reasonable and shipping was more then acceptable.. the box took about a week or less via ups ground.. the bottle was VERY well packed.. you could throw it off a roof.. lol.. This wine shop looks small from the outside, but its so spacious once you go into the main area. I love the massive collections of wine they had. Especially the sparkling wine. It tastes heavenly. The staff was so friendly. I like how they explained every detail of the wine. Also, they had a tasting section in which you could taste their wine for free.

This wine shop is impressive indeed. A week ago, I went here to buy some wine bottles. I was amazed by the vast variety of wines and spirits they had. One thing that really fascinates me is that before you can buy it, you should try the wine first. Even, if you need any support, their employees can help you. They were really well-informed about wines. I love the shops wine shelves.

Forget the usual wine tastings which even at their best seem a bit formulaic and commoditized. The owner is very knowledgeable, personable, attentive, hilarious, and also dangerously generous. Needless to say, it worked out for him as well as we came away with six beautiful bottles. A very wonderful experience!

STAY AWAY. Over $100 order never arrived. So far, Quality Liquor isnt doing anything about it.I ordered a gift for my brothers birthday. All was good until FedEx notified us that the order had been delivered. It hadnt. The signature made no sense, and when we looked at the camera footage for the delivery time on the order, nobody showed up. This is obviously a FedEx issue right? Ok, but Quality Liquor holds all the cards here as the shipper for chasing down an insurance payment and either re-shipping (via someone else) or giving me a refund. I havent heard anything back from them after I reported this. This is over $100 lost and theres really nothing I can do about it. Quality Liquor could do something about it, but so far, crickets from them.

I’m so happy. Today my husband bought a bottle Of Bayou Rum for me. the silver is delicious and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.Thank you so much.I love rum and Dr Pepper during the Saints games Now we have some for the playoffs.We will definitely be back.

This liquor store is hands down the best in San Diego. I would never shop elsewhere. Nick is super helpful, knowledgable, and honest if you need assistance picking a bottle and wont just direct you to the most expensive bottles. They will arrange delivery within an hour to any location in SD and have extremely reasonable prices. They are one of the most customer focused establishments that I have done business with and the owner Vinny is exceptional.

Ordered 4 bottles of bourbon. Received prompt order confirmation and then, a day later received shipping confirmation. Lastly, received notice that Fed Ex would deliver following day and would require signature. Product arrived in one box with no breakage. However, one of the wider bottles had busted out of Styrofoam packing shell and was laying in bottom of box.

I dont drink alcohol but I like this place for craft sodas, they have like 2 full coolers of cool different sodas! Highly recommend for your weekend video game refreshments!

I came here got everything I wanted. Amazing craft beer, I also found some very rare whiskey. The staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable. 5 stars all around.

Overpriced flakes. Terrible customer service. Staff has no knowledge or clue about their own inventory. Took precautions to avoid their online website as some reviews have had horrible experiences, and they managed to make my experience over the phone and in person even worse. Shop needs some major change in management and customer service training.

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon to Kauai and we didnt buy Koloa Rum while we were there. I wanted to surprise him with a bottle for Christmas so I called Quality and they said it was out of stock. I was bummed but was promised they were ordering some and if I put my order in online, theyd be sure to ship it the following week. While I was nervous at the prospect of being scammed, I am happy to say the rum arrived three days before anticipated. Not only was it here on time, my husband was surprised, and the rum is delicious! Thank you, Quality!

They rip people off with super marked up items. I bought two bottles of rum elsewhere, that can be found all over the place. One sells for $75 elsewhere and they have it for $350 and the other bottle is readily available all over for $65 and they have it for $180. Avoid at all cost, until they lower their ridiculous prices. (end original review) - response to owners response - These reviews arent just for how people are treated. Your response is like one gas station having gas at $3.84 a gallon and if your liquor store was like a gas station, your price would be $12.96 a gallon. Thats a huge discrepancy compared to other places. Im all for charging more to cover costs and make some money, but charging those prices is a complete rip off.

We had just moved to California and Ill be darned if I havent tried to find my Kenny Chesneys Blue Chair Coconut Rum at every establishment that sells liquor in a 25 mile radius from our home. I almost gave up and had some friends from back home try to mail me some but I decided to give it one last go. I went to Blue Chairs site and Quality Liquor came up on their store as a location carrying the brand I wanted. The specific flavor I wanted wasnt listed, but they had several that were so I thought, what the heck, Ill call them to ask!Nick answered the phone told me they did carry Blue Chair and that he would check to see if they had my coveted Coconut Rum. They did! He asked how many bottles I wanted and I asked how many he had! He set 2 aside for me and when I came in to buy them the guy at the front was super friendly and polite and called Nick out. I bought the 2 bottles and almost bought a third of another flavor except it had an ingredient in it I cant have (but it looked soo good, so if you can eat dairy I recommend the Key Lime flavor!!). I promised these guys that when I run out of the coconut flavor I WILL be back to get more and Id only buy from them and I meant it. Great customer service and great attitudes!

We were desperately looking for Clase Azul Tequila shot glasses for a long time. Everywhere we checked was either sold out or would not be selling them anymore. I contacted Quality Liquor Store’s customer service via email, to see when they would possibly have them back in stock since these are a very important gift. Within minutes I received an email back from Nick informing me that they will have them on inventory at that moment and ill be able to order asap online. Not only was I able to get the amount that I wanted, but they were efficient enough to call me and issue a shipping credit since we placed two separate orders at the same time and they will be here on Monday!! (It’s Thursday). I cannot say enough how pleased we are with this service. It is very difficult to find such great customer service. We will 100% be ordering from them again. THANK YOU

This is a neighborhood joint where if youre a local, they know your name. Theyll special order anything for you- they got in Panamanian rum, Ron Abuelo for my husband. And they let you bring your dog in.

Horrible customer service. On 6/27/16 Quality Liquor Store had on their website a promotion that stated if 2 or more bottles of La Pinta Pomegranate Tequila was purchased ground shipping cost would be waved. After adding 2 bottles to my cart, I noticed that the shipping cost had not been removed. I called the store and spoke with someone who verified that the offer was on their website, I was then told that a manager would call me back ASAP. A few hrs later and still no call back, so I called back and again was told that I would be contacted. Over 24hrs later, and I have yet to receive a call from the manager. While quality liquor store seems to be quite sluggish when it comes to customer satisfaction, they were very prompt in removing the promotion from their website.

Despite the rift-raft that comes through this store being at the trolley station, those who work here are always professional kind and fair.

Made several inquiries to the status of my order, e-mail and phone, no respons to my voicmails and their e-mail seems to have been canceled right after they sent my receipt of purchase. Storage reviews are moderated by owner before postings made public and doesnt post any reviews that are negative. Shady as hell business practices.Update: I was contacted finally the following thursday 2 days after my initial inquiry to be told that my package was to arrive that day. It arrived an hour later. They said they would resend the tracking information when they had contacted me, I never received it but by the time I would have been concerned about it, it had arrived.It did arrive within the suggested time the purchase page suggested.Overall, delivery was in a timely manner. However, customer service was far bellow acceptable. It is possible my experience was an isolated one, I however, leave the one star to accuratly reflect my experiance.

They apologized for the delay, telling me that the bottle I ordered hadnt been in stock. They sent me a 750ml bottle for the price of the 375ml bottle, to apologize. It took like three weeks to arrive, but I think thats a reasonable status quo.TL;DR: updated One Star to Four Stars.

Much more than your average liquor store.

The parking for this place awful. The older gentlemen that works here seems nice enough but you cant get bottles of hard liquor yourself so there is no real browsing here you either know what youre after or youll be looking at the ceiling trying to figure it out. The store is dirty and cramped but other than that its over priced. I wouldnt come here again thats for sure.
