I picked up a trailer on Saturday at 10:45a. The mgr Angel N. handle my rental. He ask what time I would return the trailer. I said before 9p he said their store closes at 7p but that I could drop it off under the awning out front without extra charge. I thank him and went out to have the tech hook up my trailer to my truck. I asked and he confirmed where to drop off the trailer after hours. At 8:50p I return the trailer to the location under their awning. Later I see a double charge was applied to my Credit Card I have called them 6 times to discuss twice i talked to Michael who took all my info and said he would have Angel call me back that did not happen either time. After you wait on hold for more that like 15 minutes it transfers you to a rental person who is not on site and really cant help. They do instant message Angel but still no response. So providing my experience on yelp to alter others and contacting corporate customer service and filling a CAF report are my only options.

I want to write this review, not just based on this one U-Haul location, but on U-Haul overall as Ive had a poor experience as a whole.I have it made it super clear to all of ny friends and family (and strangers if I can) to never, ever use uhauls U-Box service no matter how convenient it may same to be at first and heres why: Uhaul has very, very incompetent employees that truly do not know how to do anything.To start, I have had 3 separate occasions where I scheduled a time to access my U-Boxes and each time I showed up, the employees would tell me I was not on the schedule and would either have to come back another day or wait another 45 minutes for them to pull out my boxes (depended on the day). The first two times this happened was scheduled over the phone on the U-Box customer service number, so I figured I should schedule in person my third time... but no it still happened that I wasnt on the schedule.So after the hassle of trying to access MY OWN things, I figured it was time to bring the boxes to my property and try to empty them as much as I can even though we still didnt have space for our stuff. That was another horrible experience in itself that google doesnt give me enough of a character limit for but basically we didnt have our boxes delivered to us until four days after we had scheduled and it took MANY phone calls to even make it happen.So good luck if you use this service and thank you if read this while thing!!!
I cant describe in words how good this place is. I do a community-based service every month and the U-Haul company recognizes that. You are community based then these are the guys for you to see.
Told me my rental world be there and then when I drive all the way there they say sorry they gave you the wrong information. But they said we can give you another one way out the way. Bad service.
Its hard to get any one on the phone. But staff is nice and its fast to get a truck.

Awesome service! You will only have problems if you don’t bring it back on time, pass your miles and bring back with the same gas you left. You get charged when you bring it back. They actually charged me less since I didn’t pass my mileage
I came in and noticed the property was not up to the standards of what I know they should be due to a family member once being a manager of a couple of U-Haul stores here in the Inland Empire. Once inside, the employee Anthony was helping a customer but took the time to ask me if he could help me..I informed him that I had a reservation at 4:00 pm. He continued to help me and my transaction was completed.Once I arrived home and further reviewed my receipt, I noticed that I was only given 66 miles for my one way rental of a 10 foot truck when I originally ordered the 10 foot truck and a 15 foot truck. U-Haul canceled my 15 truck due to high demand and I was then left with the 10 foot. I now would be making more trips than originally planned and I called the store and spoke to Anthony. He listened to my situation and gave me an additional 120 miles for free.Im moving from Colton to Desert Hot Springs and a one way trip is 58 miles. Anthony was very helpful in person and on the phone even though the store was busy.

If I can do No stars I will, U-haul in San Bernardino of baseline just lost a customer, will never go back. rented a pick up and once they gave me the keys I asked if we were going to do a walk-through, was told no due to covid-19.Returned it back 2 hours later and was charged by a damage that I am 100% positive I did not due.
Horrible customer service. I had an appointment to get a trailer brake controller installed. I took the afternoon off work, found a friend to go with me to drop off my truck so they could have plenty of time to work on it, then get there to find out they are too busy to install the part. AFTER THEY TOOK MY CREDIT CARD AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. This is what I get for trying to stay local and keep my business in San Bernardino. Off to Redlands Uhaul I go.
U-Haul is becoming a joke!! They are using personal phones to take pics of your I.D. for the company, ask you for two different phone numbers even tho Im paying on the spot and my payment is good. I was told that the gas was full, but after driving for a few minutes, I noticed it was at 3/4 because the indicator had another bar to it that I did not notice at first. The guy that was helping me (Antony) didnt tell me anything about checking damages on of the truck through the cellphone text, so when I got the text I was already leaving the parking lot, my link has expired by then and I tried calling customer service for U-Haul and after waiting almost 20 minutes the service tech told me they had to transfer me to another department, after which I had to wait another 20+ mins then I just gave up and hung up, since I was only using the truck for an HOUR and HALF...for which I paid close to $110!!! Plus another $50 for the gas, which I over paid to return the needle indicator on the gas gauge back to FULL!! I have filled a complaint with U-Haul and they never got back to me, what a joke of a company!!! Will never use this company again and will not recommend anyone else using this type of service that literally doesnt care about their clients!

I left this UHAUL facility happy...I had a trailer electric plug installed. David was awesome.He installed it while helping other customers in far less timeThan his estimate...price was fair.

U-Haul just lost my business. When your employees have their personal cellphone on the desk and use it to take photos of your ID to upload on the U-haul site...not smart. Yes, I understand apps compartmentalize information but cybercriminals can find ways to hack the phone. Especially, if the employee dont have anti-virus protection on their phone.Also, when you have to call my phone to verify it works and you need a relatives phone number in case I dont return the dolly Im renting from you when Im using a credit card....youre asking for to much information!!!Plus, their parking lot was full of debris that could puncture your vehicles tire.
I will never go back. I will continue to only give my hard earned pennies to Home Depot. Here, money is made on mileage and the honest customers gas $. Spoke with rental agent Angel immediately after driving off for less than 1 mile and gas gauge showed already having used just under a quarter of a tank! He said to take a picture of the mileage and gas gauge and that he would leave a note for Abel/Owner to see the next day when I returned the truck. He assured me Abel would make things right. I drove the truck 8 miles total and went to tap off the tank which took $9 and change! When I said to the owner, Abel This certainly cant be right? He said Thats what happens with the customer before you doesnt fill the tank. He then gave me my bill total for rental/mileage and did nothing to compensate me for my gas expense. When I questioned him he shrugged me off and asked me to be sure to clean out the back of the truck walking off.

The u haul on baseline in San bernadino, ca is the worst place. Dont store anything there espescially on the RV lot on the back on the place, its next to some very shady duplexes and they have 1 camera that is fixed on the gate only. I have had my things stolen with the grand finale being my trailer. I dont think they care and I also think there is some kind of theft ring going on down there because everybodys things seem to get stolen and they wont let you watch the video footage, if you dont have anything to hide why wont you assist with the investigation? In all fairness in the past they were decent, not good but decent, maybe its time for a management change, because whats going on down there is not cutting it and they need to be investigated and possibly brought to court

They charge WAAYYY TOO MUCH! for EACH mile...I rented the BIG moving truck cuz we were moving out from where we were living @. Do to rent the truck it was like around $30 & we had to return the truck back b4 8:00pm....Long story short, we were on time so we went to get back our $100 DEPOSiT & I was SHOCKED when I only got back $48! & when I asked why hes only giving me back $48? & what happened to the rest of my $$ ? The guy told me that they charge more $ after we go over 15miles! SoO yeah, dont think Ill be going back there.
Always fill my propane tank here. easy parking. there is always about 3 people working at any one time.
My car and others were broken into. My stuff stolen. Wouldnt have even known if i hadnt gone n checked on it. Very depressing stuff and i havent even heard from them about this cyrrent situation.

I Have had trailer for several months in storage, it was burglarized someone stole propane tanks damage to my door and things missing. Manager says he cant do anything about it. They didnt even bother to call me. Manager told me that several cars were being broke in and they didnt call me.
